As we continue to eagerly await the release of another LEGO Lord Of The Rings 18+ model, we have our first rumoured information about the D2C's gift with purchase. The reveal of 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr is imminent with reports online suggesting we'll see it within the next few days. But along with the $460 model, we'll also be seeing the release of a brand new LEGO Icons promotional set.
In particular, this is 40693 The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellbeast GWP which includes 269 pieces once it becomes available on the same day 10333 releases, the 1st of June 2024. The GWP will only be available with the purchase of Barad-Dûr and will likely only be available for around five to seven days. After that we expect 40693 to go for a hefty price on after-market sales and sites such as Ebay.
As the name suggests, the main build of 40693 is a brick-built version of the Fellbeast - a flying creature bred by Sauron who is included as a Minifigure in 10333. Along with the 269 pieces used to create an 18+ model of the Fellbeast, three Minifigures are also included. Even though these aren't confirmed we're expecting the likes of Nazgul, Eowyn and Merry to be included in the promotional item.
