LEGO House 40505 Building Systems Rumoured For March 2024

We're well into another brand new year of LEGO fun and with March just days away another exclusive LEGO House set will be released. Thanks to Instagram user fateful_lego we have our first rumoured information about one of the rarest LEGO sets, Denmark's the LEGO House's exclusive model.

2023 saw the release of the popular 40504 A Minifigure Tribuet which included a brick-built LEGO Pirate Minifigure. Previous sets have been based on official LEGO machines or brick-built offices around the world. But 2024s model looks to be another LEGO set based on a range of old, nostalgic models.

In particular, 2024s LEGO House exclusive set is 40505 Building Systems which includes a total of 1,211 pieces. It will retail for 699 DKK as it will only be sold in Denmark but this is roughly $100 if your US based. As the name suggests, the 10+ model is based on previous LEGO Building Systems including electric motors, technic elements and LEGO Duplo.

Each LEGO Building System has its own microscale model included in 40505 based on a classic LEGO set from many, many years ago. 810 Basic Motor set is the first to be included, showcasing how LEGO motors have developed and advanced since the sets release back in 1985. The set doesn't include much but is iconic to the techy brick builders in the LEGO community.

LEGO Technic isn't stopping anytime soon and continues to grow in popularity but one of the first technical models was 853 Car Chassis. Many technical elements were included to create a range of different cars from offroaders to racers. Plenty of classic LEGO colours of yellow, blue and red were used for the complex inner workings of these cars.

And finally, we have our LEGO Duplo model of 2705 Passenger Train which released back in 1983. Another colourful set which introduced the youngest of builders to the wonderful world of LEGO. Two Duplo figures were included which will most likely turn into microfigures in 40505 along with the passenger train itself.
