LEGO Harry Potter BrickHeadz 40802 Luna Lovegood & Thestral Rumoured For September 2025

Along with the previously reported five pack of 40791 Goblet of Fire Figures, the LEGO Harry Potter theme will also be releasing another, slightly smaller LEGO BrickHeadz model on the 1st of September 2025. In particular, this is the 10+ model 40802 Luna Lovegood & Thestral, which includes 292 pieces retailing for the usual BrickHeadz double pack price of $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99.

Luna's BrickHeadz figure will likely feature her iconic quirky look, including her Spectrespecs, first seen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She may be in either her Ravenclaw school robes or her more iconic pink cardigan outfit. The character is also likely to include some very interesting and unique earrings and facial details, along with an accessory of a printed tile of the Quibbler magazine, for example.

Meanwhile, the brick-built Thestral, a mystical skeletal horse-like creature only visible to those who have witnessed death, is likely to be one of the most unique LEGO BrickHeadz models in recent years. The Thestral will obviously be entirely black but with possibly glowing white eyes to represent its ghostly nature in BrickHeadz form. The creature is also likely to include its bat-like wings and thin, elongated face.
