LEGO Harry Potter 40770 Room of Requirement GWP Rumoured For 1st September 2025

To coincide with both Back to Hogwarts day and the release of LEGO's latest Harry Potter branded D2C, the LEGO Harry Potter theme will also be launching a brand new Gift With Purchase starting from the 1st of September 2025. In particular, this is 40770 Room of Requirement, which will be free with purchases of the recently leaked 76457 Hogsmeade Village: Collector's Edition.

The 8+ models 202 pieces will be used to create the latest brick-built interpretation of the Room of Requirement - a magical room in Hogwarts Castle that appears only when a person has a specific need for it. 2025's Gift With Purchase version of the magical room will be much smaller than the now-retired 76413 Hogwarts: Room of Requirement, but may be compatible with the most recent and most detailed LEGO Hogwarts Castle modular system yet.

If the GWP, as is expected, somewhat ties into 76457 then it's very likely that LEGO will depict the room in its Dumbledor's Army training configuration. We can expect the small, open-faced Hogwarts room to include sand coloured walls, decorative window frames and a tiled floor. The main play feature may be the ability for one of hopefully two Minifigures included in 40770 to duel against a brick-built Duelling dummy, similar to the one that appeared in 75966 Hogwarts Room of Requirement.
