The engines are roaring, and the lights are about to go out for the 2026 Formula 1 season, but the biggest noise this March isn't just coming from the paddock in Australia but also from the LEGO Group. Following on from releases from the LEGO Speed Champions, LEGO Icons and LEGO Technic themes just a few days ago, the LEGO Editions brand will be launching a completely new F1-branded build as part of LEGO's multi-year partnership.
In particular, the LEGO Editions theme is introducing entirely brick-built Formula 1 LEGO helmets based on both past and present F1 drivers. The shift from the car to the cockpit has been officially presented with two heavy hitters from the Maranello stable: 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet and 43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet. Both release on the 1st of May 2026 for the same retail price of $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99.

To celebrate the reveal at the season opener in Melbourne, drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton appeared in the paddock carrying massive, one-of-a-kind life-sized LEGO replicas of their respective helmets. These impressive display pieces were designed and built by LEGO Certified Professional Ryan McNaught and his team, consisting of over 3,500 pieces and weighing nearly 3kg.
John Ho, Model Design Master at the LEGO Group, noted that the unique curves of the helmets presented a fascinating challenge for the design team. "Seeing them come to life, in a new scale, in Melbourne, in the hands of two of the best drivers in the world, is such a proud moment for the whole team," Ho stated. While the life-sized versions remain exclusive paddock showpieces, fans can now pre-order the retail-scale sets ahead of their release on the 1st of May 2026.
43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet
886 pieces are included in this literal recreation of Charles Leclerc's 2025 helmet. The build is defined by a vibrant Rosso Corsa (racing red) and white colour scheme, mirroring the flag of Leclerc's native Monaco. A mix of specialised prints and stickers are used to replicate the Ferrari Prancing Horse logo at the front and centre, the driver’s signature number 16, and a special "Papa Jules" deco in honour of Jules Bianchi.
The Ferrari-branded helmet is placed on a standard black display stand with a display plaque at the front of the stand. This features Leclerc’s name, his personal signature, the Ferrari badge, and the HP logo. Another selling point of the $90 set is the inclusion of an exclusive Charles Leclerc LEGO Minifigure. The figure includes Ferrari branded torso and legs, an exclusive face print and Jay's hair in brown from the LEGO NINJAGO theme.

43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet
Standing as a striking contrast to its counterpart, the 884-piece Lewis Hamilton helmet swaps the classic red for a bold, vibrant Modena yellow. This design choice reflects the personal branding Hamilton carried into his debut season with the Italian team. The build incorporates the seven-time champion’s unique driver number 44 and signature graphic elements, alongside the required Ferrari and HP team branding.
The $90 build follows the same format as 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet, sitting on a black stand with a personalised display plaque. This plaque displays Hamilton’s name and signature, the Ferrari emblem, and the HP sponsor branding. An exclusive LEGO Lewis Hamilton Minifigure can be placed here, which again includes torso and leg printing of his Ferrari race suit alongside a brand new hair piece.
