LEGO DREAMZzz will continue into 2025 which will see its second full year on shelves and alongside it most likely another season of the popular TV series. Early rumours have indicated that a total of 15 sets will release under LEGO's newest unlicensed theme and we now know six of these models are scheduled for a 1st of January 2025 release.
These six sets to kick off the new year cover the set numbers 71487, 71488, 71489, 71490, 71491 and 71497. Currently, we only know the set names and numbers of these six LEGO DREAMZzz January 2025 sets but we can make educated guesses on what will be included in each respective model.
The first of these is 71487 Mateo And Z-Blob Robot And Vehicle Adventures 1in20 which we expect to be the smallest set of the wave. A total of 20 different vehicle variants of Z-Blob the Robot will be included in his usual white and green colour scheme. Some of the small brick-built vehicles include a racing car, a scorpion-like build, some jets and planes, a miniature mech and plenty more.
Another customizable and very creative build will be 71488 Izzie's Creative Box. Again, we expect this to be a reasonably priced set with many different builds to be created from the currently unknown number of pieces. All the builds will be associated with the character Izzie who will be included as a Minifigure in 71488. The creative builds included in this model may also make an appearance in the next series of the LEGO DREAMZzz TV series.
71489 Cooper's Gaming Jet is fairly self-explanatory: a brick-built jet for the character and Minifigure Cooper. Like previous vehicles based on Cooper, the Gaming Jet will be coloured light blue and red with the gaming theme extremely prominent throughout. Hopefully, along with a small cockpit for the jet, we will also get a gaming-themed interior with the likes of arcades and cool gaming posters.
Another gaming-themed LEGO DREAMZzz set for 2025 is 71490 Izzie And Bunchurro The Gaming Bunny. We had a set very similar to this when the theme first debuted in August 2023 of 71453 Izzie and Bunchu the Bunny. 2025s 71490 looks to include a different brick-built rabbit of Bunchurro The Gaming Bunny along with the same character and Minifigure of Izzie. It'll be interesting to see how different this bunny is compared to the original in 2023 and how this ties into the continuation of the TV series.
71491 Mateo And The Z-Blob Action Race Car and 71497 Cooper's Tiger Mech And Zero's Hot Rod Racer are the final two sets on this list and likely the biggest of the upcoming wave. Both sets, like most of the theme, include brick-built vehicles and mechs to add to your LEGO DREAMZzz world. If we're to get any new character in this wave it could be in one of these sets and we may also see new versions of Mateo and Cooper which are already in other sets in this 2025 wave.
