LEGO Despicable Me 4 75582 Buildable Minions Rumoured For May 2024

When the LEGO Minions theme first launched back in 2020 amidst a global pandemic, one Minion-themed model in particular stood out. This was 75551 Brick-built Minions and their Lair which includes the iconic and massively loved yellow minions in a brick-built LEGO form. Kevin and Stuart were both included in this brick-built form but the former of these could be transformed into the extremely cute and loveable Bob.

75551 Brick-built Minions was probably the most popular LEGO Minions set released back in 2020 and LEGO will be capitalising on that success with the brand new LEGO Despicable Me 4 theme. One of the four sets releasing on the 1st of May 2024 is 75582 Buildable Minions which will retail for $54.99 with a total of 839 pieces.

2020s 75551 ever so slightly had more pieces than 75582 with a total of 876. This indicates that 75582 Buildable Minions will be an ever so slightly smaller build but with plenty of detail to recreate our favourite yellow characters. LEGO may reduce the size of the brick-built Minions to include more than just two, along with more customisable options like LEGO part packs which have been released in the past.

75582 Buildable Minions along with the two, three or even four buildable Minions will hopefully also include a couple of Minifigures. Similar to 75580 and 75581, the 2024 model will most likely include just Minions as Minifigures but, if the set is believed to be a part pack-like model, hopefully, we'll get around three to four wearing different outfits to the classic blue dungarees.
