The LEGO Group's subtheme of brick-built postcards returns in 2026, as from the pizza and pasta of Italy, we're heading to another iconic European country: Germany. In particular, the entirely brick-built LEGO microscale interpretation of some of Germany's most iconic landmarks will be releasing under set 40954 Germany Postcard. The 9+ model will follow the traditional LEGO Creator Postcard format last seen in 2025's 40818 Italy Postcard.

This subtheme has become popular in recent years because of its affordability and small display footprint. The LEGO Group have even created an 18+ version of the LEGO Creator Postcard sets with the release of 21064 Paris - City of Love on the 1st of January 2026. This LEGO Architecture-branded set focused on some of Paris' most iconic landmarks in a complex and detailed 18+ build seen bursting out of a white frame suitable for display on a wall.

While 40954 won't be attachable to a wall, it will still capture the European country's most iconic sights at the standard price of $14.99 / €14.99 / £13.49. We can expect the likes of the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin TV Tower (Fernsehturm) and the Cologne Cathedral to appear in the brick-built postcard. LEGO may also recreate the Neuschwanstein Castle, which has already appeared in the LEGO Architecture theme with 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle, or the Berlin Wall, which remains a significant remnant of the Cold War.
