LEGO City June 2025 Sets Officially Revealed

The year 2025 marks 20 years since the first LEGO City-branded set, and what's already been a busy and exciting year for the homegrown theme is about to get even better as nine of the ten LEGO City sets launching on the 1st of June 2025 have been officially revealed.

Apart from the first LEGO City D2C, one of the highlights of this wave is the return of the Arctic Explorer subtheme. Two sets in particular come under this line of 60470 Explorer Train and 60471 Arctic Truck. The former of the two models retails for over $200, including an Artic explorer express train alongside a selection of LEGO track pieces and the classic Powered Up remote control. This wave also sees new animal moulds for some Arctic foxes and pigeons.

60455 Police Motorcycle

We start with the only 4+ set in this list of 60455 Police Motorcycle, which includes 65 pieces retailing for $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99. Unsurprisingly, the summer model includes a simplified police motorcycle with a large police badge printed on the front. Also included in the 4+ build is a lime green skateboard for the crook Minifigure included in 60455 and a small cash point with a printed wanted poster.

60456 Police Boat

The LEGO City police will be on both land and water this summer with the release of 60456 Police Boat. The main build of the 264-piece set is a sleek police speedboat with the classic blue and white LEGO City police colour scheme. Another, much smaller boat is also included for the singular crook Minifigure to attempt to get away. Both boats reportedly float with a LEGO shark also included in the 6+ set, which retails for $34.99 / €29.99 / £24.99.

60457 Custom Police Garage

60457 Custom Police Car Garage is next, retailing for $54.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 with 489 pieces included. The 6+ model is unsurprisingly a police themed garage build with the ability to customise a police squad car for road, off-road, snow and airborne operations. The garage is equipped with a vehicle turntable, mission screens, a tool trolley and a range of custom attachments allowing plenty of play and customisation.

60465 Air Ambulance

Moving away from police, we have a brand new emergency and rescue set of 60465 Air Ambulance. With just 395 pieces included, retailing for $54.99 / €49.99 / £44.99, many larger elements are used to recreate the rescue plane appropriately coloured white, green and yellow. The plane includes many features such as fold-down boarding stairs and an onboard medical lab, along with a side build of a snow scooter to further help patients.

60466 Bulldozer

A brand-new construction-based set is another welcome addition to the LEGO City Summer 2025 wave. 60466 includes a brick-built yellow and black Bulldozer equipped with a movable front loader and an adjustable rear ripper. The Bulldozer has enough space for a single Minifigure to drive the vehicle, even though a total of three construction worker figures are included in the 8+ model, which retails for $64.99 / €59.99 / £49.99.

60467 Tow Truck

Another, much larger vehicle releasing on the 1st of June 2025 is 60467 Tow Truck. The 8+ model and its 793 pieces recreate a large orange tow truck with a working brick-built crane arm. A broken-down vehicle of a functioning dump truck with a cargo of two LEGO boulders is also included in the 8+ model. For $89.99 / €79.99 / £74.99 with 793 pieces included, 60467 also comes with a total of three LEGO City Minifigures.

60469 Central Train Station

Finally, we're moving away from vehicles and to a physical, brick-built building of a beautiful Central Train Station coming under the set number 60469. The 7+ model includes 752 pieces retailing for $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99. Seven Minifigures are included along with two of the brand new pigeon moulds and a singular LEGO track piece on which an orange railway maintenance vehicle can ride.

The station itself expands across a total of three floors and both sides of the train track in the centre of the build. 60469 includes a classic clock tower, a cosy coffee bar, a working lift, a control room, a bus stop, two passenger platforms, a timetable display and a ticket machine.

60470 Explorer Train

One of the most exciting elements of this much smaller LEGO City wave is the two new Arctic-themed sets. 60470 Explorer Train is the larger of the two, including 1,517 pieces retailing for $209.99 / €199.99 / £179.99. The brick-built train includes three carriages and an icebreaker with the ability to connect a remote control to the locomotive vehicle. Rail tracks, a small loading station and a small loader vehicle are also included in the 7+ model.

60471 Arctic Truck

60471 recreates an Arctic Explorer Science Truck in the usual Arctic Explorer orange, navy blue and white colour scheme. Six large wheels with white rims are included on the vehicle, along with a telescope mounted on top of the cockpit. The 8+ model also includes a snowmobile and a small wolf's den underneath some Arctic scenery. The wolf is another brand-new animal mould included in this summer wave.
