LEGO Christmas Set 40809 Festive Gingerbread House Rumoured For October 2025

On the 1st of September 2025, LEGO will be releasing a total of six brand new Advent Calendars for this year's festivities, but a month later, the Danes will also be launching three exclusive Christmas sets. The first of these is the only Minifigure scale model of the three, with 40809 Festive Gingerbread House. The 10+ branded set includes a total of 498 pieces retailing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.

As the name suggests, 40809 will be an entirely brick-built gingerbread house, similar but much smaller than 2019's LEGO Winter Village model of 10267 Gingerbread House. The build will likely feature a snow-covered roof, candy cane-style pillars and multiple colourful pieces to replicate icing and sweets. The $40 gingerbread house will likely be a facade build with an open back allowing access to the Minifigure-friendly interior.

Inside, we'll probably find even more sugary decorations along with the likes of a small fireplace, a Christmas tree, and a few more sweet-themed furniture builds. 40809 is expected to be entirely Minifigure scale, and therefore, we can expect some more gingerbread LEGO Minifigures just like the two found in 10267. Hopefully, 2025s include some brand new exclusive printing and an actual gingerbread baby rather than a 2x1 printed tile.
