LEGO Christmas Set 40809 Festive Gingerbread House Officially Revealed | October 2025

Today marks another important day in the LEGO Group's release calendar, as a total of six brand new Advent Calendars for this year's festivities. However, the Danes are also quickly turning their attention to October's release schedule, where we can expect more festive fun with three exclusive LEGO Christmas sets. The first of these is 40809 Festive Gingerbread House, which includes a total of 498 pieces retailing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.

As the name suggests, 40809 will be an entirely brick-built gingerbread house, similar but much smaller than 2019's LEGO Winter Village model of 10267 Gingerbread House. The build will feature a gingerbread-themed roof with candy cane-style detailing at the side and multiple colourful pieces to replicate icing and sweets. The $40 gingerbread house operates as both a facade and a fully enclosed house thanks to the inclusion of a couple of hinge connections.

Inside, we can find even more sugary decorations along with a small fireplace, a single table and chair, and a small kitchen section. Upstairs is even more cosy with a bed, a couple of brick-built presents and a writing desk which belongs to the sets only Minifigure Santa. He comes with a couple of accessories, including a letter and a sack to complete the Minifigure scale build.
