From staple brands such as Star Wars and Harry Potter to new licenses such as Transformers and Stranger Things, the LEGO BrickHeadz theme has had another action-packed 12 months, but in 2026, the theme gets another huge year. This is because, thanks to the ever-reliable Brick Tap Discord server, a list of several new and returning licenses is rumoured to be making their way into the blocky, collectable series of BrickHeadz.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
It's been over a decade since we last saw the entertainment franchise first created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, but in 2026, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return to brick-built LEGO form. Similar to Looney Tunes, for example, this looks to be the one and only Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-based set coming next year, but with the LEGO Icons theme continuing to expand its portfolio, who knows what the future may hold...
In the meantime, current reports suggest that a four-pack branded Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LEGO BrickHeadz will be releasing at some point in 2026. Obviously, this points towards the four anthropomorphic turtle brothers of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, each brick-built and displayed on the classic black display stand of BrickHeadz figures.
Gremlins
The Gremlins franchise has just made its debut in brick-built LEGO form with the LEGO Ideas set of 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo, but will very quickly be returning in 2026. This time, we'll see a character from the 1984 American black comedy horror in BrickHeadz form, and it will most likely once again be Gizmo. The immortal Mogwai will be a lot cheaper and smaller but still just as expressive, kind and adorable as the characters' movie counterpart.
Monsters Inc.
Monsters Inc. is a rare Disney Pixar movie to have never been covered by the Danish toy manufacturers before. However, all that will be changing in 2026, starting with at least one LEGO BrickHeadz set based on the popular animated film. We expect the two main characters of Mike and Sulley, along with possibly the main antagonist, Randall Boggs, and Boo, who accidentally gets into the monster world.
Angel from Stitch
With the recent release of the live-action Lilo & Stitch film, the cute and mischievous Stitch has never been more popular, and so it's no surprise that a brand new LEGO BrickHeadz model based on the franchise will be released next year. This time, we'll see a blocky brick-built version of Stitch's girlfriend, Angel, with her iconic pink look and long antennas.
Spider-Man
We all know how much LEGO loves Spider-Man, and with the toy brand's recent focus on the Spider-Verse films, it's no surprise that we'll be getting another Spider-Man BrickHeadz figure in 2026. Exactly which Spider-Man, from what movie or comic, is currently unknown. There's also the possibility that Spider-Man refers to a character from one of the movies or comics, for example, the likes of Green Goblin or Sandman, which have become iconic villains from the franchise.
Pokémon
And finally, perhaps the biggest headline of all on this list is the fact that LEGO Pokémon is also set to be taking over the LEGO BrickHeadz line of sets. It's already rumoured that a large-scale version of Pikachu will be releasing next year, and now we can also expect a much smaller BrickHeadz version to be available in a few months. The likes of Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle will likely also follow suit in this brick-built form.
Those are the current rumours for the LEGO BrickHeadz theme in 2026, but what do you think? Which license are you looking forward to the most?
