LEGO 40805 Arcade Machine Officially Revealed | August 2025

From suitcases and brick-built birthday celebrations to the latest edition to the LEGO Creator Postcard collection, the LEGO Miscellaneous range of sets has continued to thrive in 2025 and bring us a unique assortment of builds. On the 1st of August 2025, LEGO is releasing another Miscellaneous model of 40805 Arcade Machine. The 12+ set includes a total of 468 pieces retailing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.

The only entirely brick-built Arcade Machine that LEGO have made before, disregarding Minifigure scale versions of the entertainment machine, is the still readily available LEGO Icons model of 10323 PAC-Man Arcade. As the name suggests, the 18+ model was based on the popular 1980s character and game PAC-Man, recreating a PAC-MAN-themed arcade machine measuring over 32 cm high, 25 cm wide and 17 cm deep.

40805 is obviously substantially smaller, recreating the classic look of a retro Arcade Machine as a small display model. The machine is coloured red and black, equipped with the usual features of joysticks and coloured buttons, as 1x1 round tiles. The front of the build shows a stickered 'SPACE' logo with the screen printed directly below it, showcasing some gameplay of a retro space shooter. There's also a working coin slot with two 1x1 round coin tiles included in the set.

The retro action doesn't stop there, however, as the brick-built arcade machine can be opened up to reveal a gamer's room. A single gamer Minifigure is included with this action-packed interior, which is complete with a buildable mini arcade game station, a computer, a sofa and a game controller. Here we can also find plenty of gaming-themed Easter Eggs from retro game throwbacks and nostalgic consoles to even a microscale version of the LEGO Galaxy Explorer.
