Five LEGO Editions Formula 1 Helmets & Minifigures Rumoured For May 2026

The new 2026 LEGO Editions theme has delivered some incredible collector builds for fans of Football and the upcoming 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA. But on the 1st of May 2026, the theme will pivot from brick-built trophies and footballs to brick-built objects from another globally recognised sport: Formula 1.

In just over two months, the LEGO Group are reportedly releasing a total of five brick-built Formula 1 helmets based on some of the greatest drivers currently on the grid and a historic icon of the sport. Each helmet is rumoured to retail for $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 and include not only the details, colours and sponsors of the helmets belonging to Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Ayrton Senna, but also a corresponding LEGO Minifigure of each driver.

43014 Lewis Hamilton's Helmet

Arguably the sport's greatest driver of all time, Lewis Hamilton is the first driver to have his helmet recreated in brick-built LEGO form. 43014 recreates Lewis' current Ferrari helmet with a striking fluorescent yellow colour scheme with hints of prancing horse red. 886 pieces are included in the 14+ model, which also features a brick-built stand to display the helmet and a Lewis Hamilton Minifigure.

43017 Charles Leclerc's Helmet

Our second helmet and our second Ferrari driver, with 43017 focusing on Charles Leclerc's helmet. Charles' helmet is dominated by a vibrant red and white colour scheme, a perfect tribute to the colours of the Monaco flag, where the Ferrari driver is from. Alongside the Ferrari-branded helmet, a Charles Leclerc Minifigure is also included, utilising Jay's hair from the LEGO NINJAGO theme.

43022 Max Verstappen's Helmet

DU DU DU DU Max Verstappen is making his LEGO debut with 43022 Max Verstappen's Helmet, releasing on the 1st of May 2026. The $90 model recreates the Dutchman's helmet with the iconic Red Bull branding and Dutch lion pattern. Further details will include the Dutch flag colour scheme alongside the four stars representing his four championship which he won from 2021 to 2024.

43023 Fernando Alonso's Helmet

With 793 pieces included, 43023 focuses on the two-time world champion Fernando Alonso's helmet. Still going strong at the age of 44, the build of Alonso's helmet will focus on the yellow, blue and red colour scheme, which he has returned to in recent years as a throwback to his championship-winning days at Renault. An exclusive Fernando Alonso LEGO Minifigure also appears in the 14+ model.

43024 Ayrton Senna's Helmet

Last but not least, we have our second-ever LEGO set dedicated to the three-time World Champion Aryton Senna. 43024 will be dedicated to the late Brazilian and his iconic racing helmet, which had a simple yet beautiful design of a yellow base with stripes of green and navy blue. The Minifigure of Ayrton in the LEGO Icons model of 10330 McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna will likely reappear in 2026's 43024.
