Two more LEGO Star Wars D2C are still yet to release in 2023 including one of the most bizarre LEGO Star Wars sets of them all. In particular, this is the 18+ set of 75371 Buildable Chewbacca which releases in just over a month's time on 1st September 2023. Once it releases, it will retail for $199.99 with a total of 2,320 pieces included to make the large LEGO Chewbacca.
The LEGO Star Wars D2C of Buildable Chewbacca will be an entire model of Chewbacca made of LEGO bricks. Unlike the poorly received 76215 Black Panther, it will not be a bust and instead include the whole of Chewy's body from his hairy legs to his cute but ready-for-action face.
This will make the set very similar to 71411 Mighty Bowser from the LEGO Super Mario theme where a brick-built version of Bowser is included. We also expect this brick-built version of Chewbacca to be on a brick-built stand like Bowser and include his usual weapon which could be the set's main play feature. For $200, a smaller Chewbacca will also be included in the set as a Minifigure which will hopefully be exclusive.
