Only two sets are yet to be revealed for 2023, 21344 Orient Express and this year's LEGO Marvel D2C of 76269 Avengers Tower. This year's headline LEGO Super Heroes set has been rumoured for many many months but as we head into October the anticipation will build even more. This is especially the case as the Avengers Tower is such a popular MCU location which will appear in its biggest and most complex form.
Not only will 76269 Avengers Tower retail for a large price tag of $524.99, but it'll also include a large number of pieces at 5,261 in total. Unsurprisingly a large amount of Minifigures will also be included in this 18+ D2C set, mainly based on the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. It's currently rumoured that a total of 21 Minifigures will be included in 76269 with 8 of these being exclusive and the other 13 reuses.
The 8 exclusive Minifigures are two Iron Man suits, Hawkeye, Vision, Flacon, Wasp, Helen Cho and Ultron. And the 13 reused Minifigures are Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Wong, Pepper Pots, Nick Fury and four Chitauris. There's also a big fig of Hulk and a micro fig of Ant-Man which is another exclusive figure for the 18+ set.
Further details including the exact list of outfits and prints of Minifigures and the different rooms included inside the tower are unknown but the set will be a big one. The set will also include technic pin connections so that it's compatible with other LEGO Marvel modular buildings from previous years. And it's likely to be one of the best and biggest LEGO sets of the year, especially with its Black Friday release on the 24th of November 2023.
