LEGO have created many iconic scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now we have a brick built version of the opening to Avengers: Age of Ultron. The 2015 film has been extremely popular for the last nine years and so its no surprise LEGO have created the opening battle of the movie with 76291 The Avengers Assemble: Age Of Ultron. The August 2024 model will retail for $99.99 with a total of 613 pieces included. Just like the scene in the movie, LEGOs interpretation is based around the Avengers fight against Hydra troops in the snowy landscape. White bricks are used to portray snow with the ground being covered with them and so to are the five thin brick built trees. 76291 is technially an unofficial diorama with a very thin black base being seen undernetah the snow covered landscape. Within the landscape there's plenty more fun builds. Theres the Avengers Jeep, a navy blue motorcycle belonging to Captain America, a couple of fences and a very small bunker that can be destroyed. Theres also a hydra watchtower included right at the back of the set overlooking the whole wintery landscape. 76269 Avengers Tower has to be the best LEGO Marvel set yet as not only did it include the biggest and most expansive version of the Avengers Tower yet, it also included plenty of Minifigures and side build. One of these side builds includes a brick built version of the Leviathan which will now be getting its own set with 76290 The Avengers VS. The Leviathan. The August 2024 set will retail for $29.99 with a total of 245 pieces. Compared to the Leviathan in the Avengers Tower, 76290 recreates the flying machine in a slightly bigger form based on its apppearance in Avengers: Infinity Saga. The build includes six wings rather than four, two stud laucnhers above its head at the front and has a slightly different head structure with its golden teeth being lower. All this is done in just 347 pieces making it a fairly affordable build. However, 76290 The Avengers VS. Thor: Ragnorak, the third instalment of the Thor franchise, was released back in 2017 but seven years later we're seeing LEGO explore some of the iconic scenes and characters from the Marvel Studios movie. This is particularly the case with August 2024s 76289 Thor VS. Surtur Construction Figure which sees Surtor finally getting a brick-built figure. This will retail for $29.99 with a total of 245 pieces included. As the name suggests, the model will be based on the battle between our main character Thor and villain Sutur but in a brick-built construction figure form. The LEGO designers have done a terrific job recreating Surtur in LEGO form which has plenty of details and prints and also uses LEGO Marvel Eternals Kro headpiece. Surtur is basically the main and only build of the $30 set with the rest of 245 pieces being used towards the three Minifigures included in 76289. Battle packs have been well known in the LEGO Star Wars theme but have slowly spread across to LEGO NINJAGO and now LEGO Marvel too. This is particularly the case with one of six LEGO Marvel sets officially revealed today of 76288 Iron Man & Iron Legion VS. Hydra Soldier. The 6+ set comes with 135 pieces and four Minifigures retailing for $19.99 once it releases on the 1st of August 2024. The $20 battle pack will be based on Avengers: Age of Ultron with Iron Man, Hydra Trooper and two exclusive Iron Legionnaires included. They are the main selling point of the model but a small side build is also included made up of those 135 pieces. The Guardians of the Galaxy film is 10 years old this year and what better way to celebrate the occasion than a brand new LEGO set. In particular, it's a brand new version of the well-known Liano spaceship which is the main ship used in the series until it gets severely damaged by the Sovereign. On the 1st of August 2024, we'll be getting the biggest brick version of the Milano to date with 2,090 pieces retailing for $179.99. 76286 The Milano Spaceship is the biggest in size, pieces and prise yet still keeps the exact same colour scheme of blue, orange and white. And with it being such a big size, a full interior of the ship is also included. This can be opened up with ease and has plenty of space for all the Minifigures in 76286. The iconic, large brick-built ship is then complete with a black display stand, making it the perfect display and play model. But moving away from the Milano spaceship build itself, the $180 set also includes five Minifigures. These are Star-Lord Gamora (prints on the legs), Rocket, Little Groot in a white bow and Drax. The third wave of LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog sets is here with three brand new models all releasing on the 1st of August 2024. These sets cover the set numbers 76997 to 76999 with 77000 releasing on the 1st of October 2024 as the theme's first D2C model. All three of the Summer 2024 models retail for under $80 and include returning Minifigures of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and many more and new Minifigures of Super Sonic 76998 Knuckles And The Master Emerald Shrine is the cheapest set of the wave with 325 pieces retailing for $34.99. The set can be easily combined with our previous Knuckles LEGO set of January's 76996 Knuckles' Guardian Mech. The Master Emerald from that set can be placed inside the brick-built shine in 76998. Knuckles, along with Amy, can then protect the shrine from the brick-built Eggrobo who is also included in the 2024 model. Another set that's around the 300-piece count mark is 76997 Tails' Adventure Boat. However, for 393 pieces, 76997 retails for a lot more with larger moulds being used to recreate Tails' Adventure Boat, the Sea Fox II. For $54.99 the yellow, orange and white boat belonging to Tails is the main build of the set but other neat builds include a speedball for Tails to be catapulted, an area for Sonic to parasail and a small brick-built Green Hill Zone landscape. Finally, we have the biggest set of the wave and what will be the most expensive Sonic The Hedgehog set of the year of 76999 Super Sonic VS. Egg Drillster. For 590 pieces retailing for $79.99, the main build of the set is Eggman's Driller vehicle. On its front is a large yellow drill with the rest of the vehicle being mainly red. The LEGO Speed Champions theme continues with its steady growth in recent years and this is amplified by not one, not two but three waves of sets in 2024. March saw the release of four brand-new models for the theme with three more coming on the 1st of June 2024. Another wave of Summer sets will also be released on the 1st of August 2024 for the theme, this time only two sets but this does include a brand new LEGO NASCAR vehicle. But returning to the June wave of LEGO Speed Champions models, a total of five brand-new vehicles across three sets have been officially revealed today. Our first set is a brand-new Lamborghini single-pack of 76923 Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo. The electrified hypercar has a very futuristic look with plenty of jagged edges which have translated well into LEGO form. The car is also an olive green colour with printed rims. 76924 is our first of two double packs in this wave featuring Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63. Together, they retail for $44.99 with a total of 808 pieces. Many, including ourselves, thought the high piece count meant a side was included but, in reality, a lot of elements have been required to create the G 63. This vehicle is fully black with plenty of space inside whilst the SL 63 is bright yellow with an open roof. And our final set releasing on the 1st of June 2024 is our second LEGO Speed Champions F1 set of the year. This time it's Aston Martin's turn with 76925 Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car & AMR23 featuring 564 pieces for $44.99. Aston Martin's challenger for the 2023 F1 season is included along with the Aston Martin F1 Safety Car which is used in many of the grand prixs around the world. Several LEGO Harry Potter sets have released in recent years based on the fourth film but it's been almost 19 years since the last brick-built version of the Dumstrang Ship. Luckily, that's all about to change with 76440 Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival releasing on the 1st of June 2024. The Summer 2024 set includes both the Dumstrang Ship and the Beauxbatons Carriage for $139.99 with 1,229 pieces. The two-in-one-like set means that neither the Dumstrang Ship nor the Beauxbatons Barriage will be a substantial size. The carriage is reportedly so small that theres only room for one of the flying horses at the front. The ship is a slightly bigger build with it still including four sails with one of these also being printed. Sadly not much is known about 76440 as it will be a LEGO store and LEGO shop@home exclusive model. But the 10+ Summer 2024 set still includes a total of five Minfigiures with none of these being our usual trio of Harry, Ron and Hermione. Along with expansions to the Hogwarts modular system, we'll also be getting expansions to the Diagon Alley modular system in the LEGO Harry Potter theme. This time it'll be two shops of the iconic Ollivanders and Madam Malkin's Robes. These two shops are a part of the set number 76439 Diagon Alley: Ollivanders & Madam Malkin's Robes which will retail for $89.99 with a total of 744 pieces once it releases on the 1st of June 2024. Ollivanders Wand Shop is coloured sand blue with beige accents and includes a total of 26 wands to sell. These are all stored on the shelves in the shop along with Harry Potter's wand which is in its own removable box on these brick-built shelves. Other brick-built accessories in Ollivanders shop include some wand stands, a couple of new designs for those 26 wands and a ladder to reach the very top shelves containing the wands. Next door to Ollivanders will be Madam Malkin's Robes store which is coloured much brighter colours of grey with elements of pink and purple. Inside there are mannequins, plenty of hats and hanging capes in red and green. Two doors allow entry to the shop with a couple of stickers sadly also used to add details to the fairly small brick-built shop. 76439 includes two stores and a total of six Minifigures. These are Harry Potter, Garrick Ollivander, Madame Malkin, Padma Patil and two other minifigures, which are said to be a Hogwarts student in a wheelchair and a witch with a flower cart. A brand new Hogwarts modular system is coming this summer for the LEGO Harry Potter theme and what better way to kick off the new system than with a brand new brick-built Great Hall. The Great Hall isn't an uncommon location in brick-built LEGO form but on the 1st of June 2024, we'll be getting the biggest and best version of the iconic building so far. 76435 Hogwarts Castle Great Hall will retail for $219.99 with a total of 1,732 pieces used to create a beautifully designed building. This time the great hall includes plenty of exterior scenery with stairs leading up to the courtyard directly outside the great hall. This allows it to be easily connected to January's 76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse as its able to blend in well with the tan-coloured building and rocky landscape. The exterior of the great hall itself is similar to previous iterations but slightly taller and wider to create the ultimate LEGO Harry Potter great hall. More fun and details are included on the inside. A large dining table is included with plenty of drinks and food for all the students to gather around and enjoy. Theres also another smaller table for the professors and of course, all four banners for all four Hogwarts Houses are also included on the wall. However, the most exciting feature of the interior of the great hall is its ceiling. The designers have made a brick-built illusion of the night sky just like what happens in the films. This illusion includes two grey clouds with the moon hiding behind it along with plenty of darker pieces to create the night sky. A few floating candles are also included to complete the great hall interior. With the great hall being elevated thanks to the inclusion of its rocky landscape, a couple more features are located directly below the building's interior. Here we have three separate brick-built sections which can easily be removed and swapped with other elements of the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts modular system. The three sections included in 76435 include a dungeon with a secret passageway, a bathroom and a common room. That bathroom isn't just any random bathroom - it's the bathroom where our three main characters discover the troll! And that also means the troll finally returns in LEGO form with a brand new moulded bigfig. The Forbidden Forest has been seen in LEGO plenty of times before but we're now set to get the largest and most realistic version of Aragog. The gigantic spider will be appearing in the Summer 2024 set of 76434 Aragog in the Forbidden Forest. The LEGO Harry Potter set will retail for $19.99 and includes 195 pieces making it the smallest model of the wave once it releases on the 1st of June 2024. Unsurprisingly, Argog the spider takes up most of the 195 pieces. In 76434 he's coloured in brown with an exclusive facial print and moveable legs, fangs and pincers. A small forbidden forest side build is also included with a web. This can be connected to recent Forbidden Forest LEGO Harry Potter sets. Another buildable wizarding world creature is on its way in 2024 for the LEGO Harry Potter theme with 76433 being a brick-built version of the magical Mandrake plant. Along with 76427 Buckbeak The Hippogriff, 76433 Mandrake will release on the 1st of June 2024 as the second brick-built creature of this Summer wave. It will retail for $69.99 with a total of 579 pieces and once again no Minifigures. The brick-built Mandrake is extremely well-designed and shaped to create a lifelike version of the screaming plant. He has thing legs and arms which are made to look like roots along with a belly and of course that horrible-looking face. These parts are all moveable, even its face which includes a screaming mechanism to the joy of Neville Longbottom. Plenty of large printed leaves are also included to cover the top of the alive and loud plant. The brick-built Mandrake is then complete with a brick-built plant pot which it can sit inside. A new LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts modular system will be coming in a months time after 76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse and 76430 Hogwarts Castle Owlery were introduced in January. Both sets were sections of Hogwarts previously not seen or very rarely seen in brick-built LEGO form before. And this trend seems to be continuing with June 2024's 76431 Hogwarts Castle Potions Class. 76431 will see the most complete interpretation of the Potions Class in LEGO brick-built form. With 397 pieces retailing for $37.99, it can be easily connected to January's 76426 and 76430 along with June's $220 76435 Hogwarts Castle Great Hall. The potions classroom will be a typical size for a brick-built room, matching the best-ever Great Hall in LEGO form. As part of the new Hogwarts system, 76431 Hogwarts Castle Potions Class will include two collectable wizard portraits introduced in January. The set will also include an array of new pieces such as new chemical bottles and a piece depicting smoke or steam. As June slowly approaches so does a brand new wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets consisting of seven wizarding world-themed models. Amongst all these licensed sets we have a brand new brick-built creature of Buckbeak The Hippogriff. The LEGO Harry Potter model, based on the third film, will retail for $59.99 with a total of 723 pieces included once it releases on the 1st of June 2024. Like previous brick-built LEGO Harry Potter creatures, Buckbeak has many moveable and functional parts. The Hippogriff's head, wings and legs can all be moved and posed in any way the builder wishes too. His body is mainly grey but the front includes plenty of white along with a couple of sand blue pieces. The 8+ model will be a LEGO City set exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home but will still be released along with the other 11 sets on the 1st of June 2024. 60440 will retail for $99.99 with a total of 1,061 pieces and four Minifigures of a driver, a forklift operator and two warehouse workers. As the name suggests, 60440 is the return of the well-known yellow delivery truck fit with a sleeping area and an accessible view of the engine. The trailer of the truck is expected to include stickers or prints that will make the truck appear as blocks that are falling apart. This allows easy access into the trailer section of the yellow truck. In the trailer, there are four pallets with goods, two sets of blocks and an astronaut figure, which is intended to simulate a large exhibition model made of blocks. Along with this trailer and the truck itself, of course, we get two sidebuilds. Our fourth and final LEGO City Jungle set rumoured for June 2024 is the biggest and best yet of 60437 Jungle Explorer Helicopter at Base Camp. The Summer 2024 model includes a total of 881 pieces and five Minifigures retailing for $99.99. This set, along with the other three we've already discussed in previous articles, can be combined together to create the ultimate LEGO City jungle. One of 60437s main builds is the jungle helicopter which once again uses that orange and navy blue colour scheme seen through this subtheme. The brick-built helicopter includes synchronised double rotors, a cargo hole, a working cargo winch, an opening cockpit, and a ramp at the rear. The helicopter is of a fair size as there's also space to store a motorcycle, a swamp boat and a small portable base with a research station. The other build of the $100 set is another jungle section which can of course be easily combined with the other, slightly smaller, sections seen in other sets. This small brick-built jungle section includes a waterful along with plenty of vegetation which the swamp boat will have to navigate. Finally, to round of 60437 Jungle Explorer Helicopter at Base Camp we have five jungle-themed Minifigures. These include a pilot, a cartographer, a mechanic, a photographer and a medic. Two large gorillas are also included as 60437s exclusive animal moulds. Continuting on with our coverage of every rumoured LEGO City sets for Summer 2024, we have another LEGO City Jungle set. The returning Jungle subtheme wil have a total of four models release on the 1st of June 2024 including the one we're covering today of 60426 Jungle Explorer Off-Road Vehicle. The unlicensed set retails for $34.99 with 314 pieces and three explorer Minifigures including the returning Johnny Thunder. 60426 Jungle Explorer Off-Road Vehicle is our third LEGO City Jungle set and our third to be based on a jungle based exploration vehicle. However, this time the set looks to be a fully ledged vehicle for that $35 price tag. The orange and navy blue off-roader includes a camera on a boom and a couple of brick built storage boxes located just above the rear wheels. The vehicle looks to have enough space for two out of the three Minifigures included in 60426. Along with the Jungle Explorer Off-Road Vehicle, we'll also be getting another small brick built jungle section. This one will be much large than 60424 and 60425 including a bunch of cool jungle scenery including a cave sheltered under a tree with bones under it. As we continue to look at every LEGO City set releasing this summer, there's one kind of set we've yet to find in this list of 11 June 2024 sets. This is our LEGO City set aimed at the youngest of brick builders - over-simplified and sticker-less 4+ models. Luckily, the LEGO designers haven't forgotten about the younger builders with 60435 Tow Truck and Sports Car Repair being our only 4+ LEGO City set releasing on the 1st of June 2024. The set itself includes a total of 101 pieces and two Minifigures retailing for $24.99. As the name suggests, the tow truck and sports car are the many builds with both including extremely large and fairly undetailed pieces. The LEGO City Jungle subtheme is returning as part of the latest wave of sets for the homegrown LEGO theme. Amongst the four sets branded under the subtheme is 60425 Jungle Explorer Water Plane. The June 2024 model will retail for $22.99 with 177 pieces and three jungle-themed Minifigures included. As the name suggests, the main build of 60425 will be another jungle-based vehicle, this time an explorer water plan. Like the ATV in 60425, 60425 will continue with the navy blue and orange colour scheme which could also see a couple of hints of olive green as well for the water vehicle. A small jungle landscape is also included with a brick-built cave home to a couple of animals. These animals include a crocodile family of one adult and two children. The family looks to be a mix of different colours of olive green and sand green.
