Two LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets have already been revealed for 2024 but the theme is not stopping there. This is because, not only do we expect a summer wave for the gaming theme but another LEGO BrickHeadz pack will also be releasing under the LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog brand. This time the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Brickheadz set will be a double pack retailing for the usual price of $19.99. We already have Sonic and Tails in this brick-built form and now we'll be getting both Knuckles and Shadow. Both are very popular characters and appeared in Minifigure form in the recently revealed January 2024 sets. Now we just have to wait until February to get them again but in a different kind of LEGO form. 40672 Knuckles & Shadow Set Name - Knuckles & Shadow Set Number - 40672 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st February 2024

It's been another busy start to a brand new year for the LEGO City theme with over 20 brand new sets releasing in just under two weeks on 1st January 2024. Amongst these many sets include two brand new LEGO City polybags including 30664 Police Off-Road Buggy Car which we'll be covering in this article. 30664 Police Off-Road Buggy Car is unsurprisingly a police-based set with a singular policeman Minifigure included. He's not exclusive but includes a white helmet along with a neat police-based torso print. The main build of the set is the Off-Road Buggy Car that he rides in. With only 35 pieces included, its no surprise that this build is very simple and basic with the most interesting thing about the set being that printed wanted poster. 30664 Police Off-Road Buggy Car Set Name - Police Off-Road Buggy Car Set Number - 30664 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 35 Price - $4.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

Amongst these many sets include two brand new LEGO City polybags including 30663 Space Hoverbike which we'll be covering in this article. 30663 Space Hoverbike is another set that will be a part of LEGO's 2024 Space subtheme which has expanded across many different themes. In this polybag, there's a single astronaut Minifigure along with the Space Hoverbike itself coloured white and orange along with a couple of hints of black and grey. The astronaut isn't exclusive but includes the brand new astronaut torso for 2024 and a light blue helmet which isn't too common. 30663 Space Hoverbike Set Name - Space Hoverbike Set Number - 30663 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 46 Price - $4.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

After the official reveal of 21345 Polaroid OneStep 5X-70 Camera just the other day, we now have information on the second LEGO Ideas set of 2024. In particular, this is the previously rumoured 18+ set of 21346 Your Family Tree. The LEGO Ideas set has been pushed back a month to a 1st February 2024 release, one month after 21345 but retailing for the same price of $79.99. 21346 Your Family Tree is the winner of the family-themed LEGO Ideas contest that took place with Target in 2022. This is the second competition of its kind with 21343 Viking Village winning the first vote back in 2021 and becoming an official set earlier this year. But 21346 will be a much smaller and niche set, retailing for $79.99 and being centred around family and the unique love that comes with family. The piece count of 21346 is currently unconfirmed but we expect a fair amount to be included for that price point and to make the beautiful brick-built tree. This will be covered with family portraits that can sit and hang from branches and leaves coloured different shades of red to signify love. Unlike 21345 Polaroid Camera, we expect 21346 to be Minifigure scale and include quite a few, diverse Minifigures to create a LEGO family. 21346 Your Family Tree Set Name - Your Family Tree Set Number - 21346 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st February 2024

2024 is shaping up to be quite a year for our favourite blue fictional alien of Stitch as he's getting a brick-built character and a Brickheadz. The brick-built version of Stitch which released in March comes under the set number 43249 whilst the Brickheadz version of the character releases under the set number 40674. This will be available a month after 43249 on 1st February 2024 for $9.99. 40674 Stitch will become our fourth version of Stitch in LEGO form after two Minifigure versions and the brick-built figure also coming in 2024. The singular LEGO Brickheadz pack hopefully opens the door to more LEGO Lilo and Stitch sets with Lilo (and the rest of the main characters for that matter) having never appeared in LEGO brick-built form. Maybe 2024 will change that as LEGO and Disney further strengthen their partnership. 40674 Stitch Set Name - Stitch Set Number - 40674 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st February 2024 Featured image: LEGO Ideas project by Legohaulic

A total of three LEGO Chinese New Year sets have been revealed for a 2024 release and a brand new GWP will also be coming to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. In particular, it'll be 40575 Year of the Dragon which will be available in less than a months time for the start of the Chinese New Year. With the Chinese New Year being on 10th February 2024, we can easily expect this GWP to be available for almost a whole month. The threshold however and the exact amount of time is unknown, but similar to previous years 40611 will be available with any LEGO purchases. Also similar to last year, the 214-piece Gift With Purchase will be a brick-built version of a colourful Chinese culture Dragon with those usual printed 2x2 round tiles for the eyes. A small environment build for the LEGO Dragon will also be included for it to sit on and be displayed on. 40611 Year of the Dragon GWP Set Name - Year of the Dragon GWP Set Number - 40611 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 214 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - January 2024

The LEGO Disney theme had its biggest year yet in 2023 to celebrate 100 years of Disney but 2024 looks to continue with the recent increase in sets. Five brand new sets have been officially revealed for a 1st January 2024 release alongside the previously revealed 40708 Ariel's Mini Castle. Sadly all these sets are Minidoll-based but still range across many films from the likes of Frozen and Tangled to Beauty and the Beast. Two of these five sets releasing on the 1st of January 2024 include 43233 Belle's Storytime Horse Carriage and 43234 Elsa's Frozen Treats. These are both $15.99 sets with limited pieces suggesting that these are basically brand new 'gimmick' sets for the theme with a small build included in each alongside a singular minidoll of Belle and Elsa respectively. A singular 4+ set is also included in this wave of 43238 Elsa's Frozen Castle. With 4+ sets using bigger, specialised pieces, only 163 pieces are included for the price tag of $44.99 but two Minidolls of Elsa and Anna are included. A set that has quite a selection of minidolls though is 43246 Disney Princess Market Adventure which retails for $99.99 with a total of 817 pieces. Four characters are included of Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella and Tiana alongside a separate build for each. These are mainly brick-built market stalls/buildings which create a very vibrant and colourful play set. A similar thing can also be said for 43241 Rapunzel's Tower & The Snuggly Duckling which gives us a brand new version of Rapunzel's Tower alongside our first Mother Gothel in LEGO form. 43233 Belle's Storytime Horse Carriage Set Name - Belle's Storytime Horse Carriage Set Number - 43233 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 62 Price - $15.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 43234 Elsa's Frozen Treats Set Name - Elsa's Frozen Treats Set Number - 43234 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 82 Price - $15.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 43238 Elsa's Frozen Castle Set Name - Elsa's Frozen Castle Set Number - 43238 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 163 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 43241 Rapunzel's Tower & The Snuggly Duckling Set Name - Rapunzel's Tower & The Snuggly Duckling Set Number - 43241 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 623 Price - $84.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 43246 Disney Princess Market Adventure Set Name - Disney Princess Market Adventure Set Number - 43246 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 817 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

After the reveal of 71045 Series 25 just over a week ago for January 2024, we have more information about the next LEGO Minifigure series. In particular, this next series will be entitled 'Space', coming under the set number 71046 with a 1st May 2024 release date. Just like the last two CMF series of 71039 Marvel Studios Series 2 and Series 25, this series will also sadly be in cardboard boxes. It's been speculated for a whole what the name 'Space' for a CMF series could indicate but the case seems to have been cracked. This is because the Instagram user childish_landino_chronicles has given the list of all 12 unique Minifigures releasing in 71046 Space Series on 1st May 2024. As previously discussed across the internet and here at Bricks Up, the series looks to be a range of colourful classic Spacemen or Space-themed Minifigures from past LEGO Space themes along with a mix of new ones. This looks to coincide with LEGO's recent push for Space in 2024 with plenty of branding on a range of boxes in many different themes. A ton of references to LEGO Classic Space, including a Classic Space robot, a retro Spacewoman, an M-Tron redux, an Ice Planet redux accompanied by a Space Penguin, and a mutated Blacktron are included in the series. Alongside these are more modern figures such as an alien in a UFO costume, a grey alien tourist, an alien insectoid, a modern astronaut character, an Orion Minifigure and a Space Nurse. List of Minifigures Robot human suit for tiny aliens Classic Space Robot Retro Spacewoamn (female version of Series 17 space Minifigure) M-Tron Redux Alien in a UFO costume Grey Alien Tourist Alien Insectoid Modern Astronaut Ice Planet Redux with Space Penguin Mutated BlackTron Orian with translucent parts Space Nurse with Pink Space Baby 71046 Space Series Set Name - Space Series Set Number - 71046 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 8 Price - $4.99 Release Date - 1st May 2024

Many LEGO sets for 2024 have been revealed over the last week or so and we can now add a LEGO Ideas set to that long list of sets. The now 18+ theme of LEGO Ideas will continue into next year with one set releasing on 1st January 2024 and another releasing just a month later on 1st February 2024. In particular, this LEGO Ideas set releasing on 1st January 2024 is 21345 Polaroid OneStep 5X-70 Camera which for $79.99 will be a brick-built LEGO version of the iconic Polaroid OneStep SX-70 camera which was released back in 1972. The original submission of the brick-built Polaroid Camera by Minibrick Productions included 538 pieces. In comparison, LEGO's official version which releases on 1st January 2024 includes 516 pieces due to LEGO making a very similar yet more polished build of the iconic camera. It is also ever so slightly smaller as it'll measure 16 studs deep and 12 studs wide. However, by LEGO 18+ standards, the set includes quite a few stickers rather than prints. The main stickers of the set are the text 'Polaroid Land Camera' and 'onestep' which are located on the front of the camera. Luckily the rainbow strip down the centre of the Polaroid Camera is neither a sticker nor a print and instead entirely brick-built. The Polaroid Camera isn't the only build included in 21345 as three plastic vinyl photos also come with that $80 price tag. The photos displayed on the pieces of vinyl include the LEGO house, a woman in a harbour and a man looking at a camera film. A white SX-70 film photo cassette is also included as the third and final build of 21345 Polaroid Camera. This is ten studs wide and includes the Polaroid logo along with other bits of text and details. 21345 Polaroid OneStep 5X-70 Camera Set Name - Polaroid OneStep 5X-70 Camera Set Number - 21345 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 516 Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

Our final LEGO Marvel set has been officially revealed with it being a brand new buildable figure of Rocket Raccoon. Thanks to thebrickpost.com  we had our first look at 76282 Rocket & Baby Groot the other day, releasing at the start of next year on 1st January 2024. The brand-new buildable figure includes 566 retailing for a fair price of $54.99 with a single Minifigure included. For many fans, the Minifigure may be the best part of 76282 as it's an exclusive version of Baby Groot with brand-new printing on his head. We have already seen two versions of a brick-built Groot and even though those aren't in the same scale as this buildable Rocket Raccoon, it's still a great model. Like previous brick-built models, many interesting parts and techniques take place to capture Rocket in a brick-built LEGO form. His tail, for example, is very cleverly done by using barrels and a bush to create its furiness. Other features of the build include posable arms, legs and his face of course along with a couple of brick-built accessories of a couple of handguns amongst other gadgets owned by Rocket Raccoon. 76282 Rocket & Baby Groot Set Name - Rocket & Baby Groot Set Number - 76282 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 566 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

The reveals keep on coming for the LEGO Marvel theme as we have our first set based on the X-Men 97 series. 2024 looks to continue with the steady return of X-Men sets with 76281 being a brick-built version of the blue X-Men jet. The vehicle which is also known as the Blackbird or X-Jet will retail for a whopping $84.99 with just 359 pieces. For that incredibly ridiculous price point, only four Minifigures based on the X-Men 97 show are included. These Minifigures are Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto and Rogue with Rogue in particular making her LEGO debut in this January 2024 set. All four of these Minifigures can fit in the X-men X-Jet which is a fair size but uses many large pieces explaining that high price when only 359 pieces are included. 76281 X-Men X-Jet Set Name - X-Men X-Jet Set Number - 76281 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 359 Price - $84.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

Spider-Man No Way Home released almost two years ago in cinemas but after 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle released in the summer, LEGO are finally making more sets. This is because another Spider-Man No Way Home set of 76280 Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battlewill be releasing in less than a months time on 1st January 2024 For $37.99, the set isn't the biggest LEGO Marvel Super Heroes set ever as only 347 pieces are included along with three Minifigures. These Minifigures are fairly exciting though with Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in his usual suit being included along with Electro and Lizard. Electro is reused from 76261 but Lizard is a brand new figure which uses the T-rex tail pieces used in Series 24. As you can tell from the name of the set, Sandman is the main part of the build of the set with the supervillain being included as a brick-built character. He's the main play feature of the set along with a couple of pieces of brick-built scaffolding to recreate the final battle between Spider-Man and Sandman. And all of this will be included on a small black base just like 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle which 76280 is easily compatible with. 76280 Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle Set Name - Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle Set Number - 76280 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 347 Price - $37.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

Just like LEGO love to do random Batman sets, LEGO also love to do random Spider-Man sets and 2024 seems to be no different. This is because the set number 76279 from the LEGO Marvel theme entitled Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin for $34.99 has been officially revealed for a 1st January 2024 release date. Unsurprisingly, the 227 pieces included in the set will be used to create this Spider-Man-themed high chase brick-built race car. The car will be very similar to the Miles Morales car from the set number 76244 which released earlier this year. However, 76279 will use different colours and prints and also includes a different Minifigure lineup of Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen and Venomized Green Goblin. The car is also ever so slightly bigger with two stud shooters also included at the front of the vehicle. A side build of Green Goblins glider is also included which includes two more stud shooters along with some pumpkin bombs for him to carry. The two builds and the three Minifigures basically make this a Spider-Man battle pack which will retail for $34.99 starting from 1st January 2024. 76279 Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin Set Name - Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin Set Number - 76279 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 227 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

LEGO remaking past sets is not uncommon but LEGO remaking San Diego Comic Con exclusive sets is a very rare occurrence. But that doesn't matter as LEGO will be remaking 2014's SDCC with 76278 Rocket Warbird vs. Ronan which will release on 1st January 2024 as LEGO returns to the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The half remake which has been gaining much hype is definitely much bigger than the SDCC exclusive from 2014 as it includes 290 pieces for $37.99. The ship piloted by Rocket Raccoon obviously includes Rocket himself but this time in his Ravager outfit. We're also getting one other Minifigure for $38 with it this time being Ronan the Accuser who uses the new hood piece used with Palpatine from the LEGO Star Wars theme. 76278 Rocket Warbird vs. Ronan Set Name - Rocket Warbird vs. Ronan Set Number - 76278 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 290 Price - $37.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

After a leak just the other day, we now have official images of our second LEGO Marvel Super Heroes mech coming next year. In particular, this is 76277 War Machine Mech which includes a total of 154 pieces retailing for $14.99 once it releases on 1st January 2024. Like previous mech sets, the mech will be the main and only part of the build with a single Minifigure included to fit inside the mech. The Minifigure included in 76277 is unsurprising War Machine who features in an exclusive comic book style. His mech matches the colour of his Minifigure with it being a mix of different shaded greys with a couple of hints of reds. A couple of blasters are also connected to the arms and neck of the 2024 mech. 76277 War Machine Mech Armor Set Name - War Machine Mech Armor Set Number - 76277 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 154 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024
