  • LEGO Minecraft 21265 The Crafting Bench Rumoured For August 2024

In just a couple of days time six brand new LEGO Minecraft sets will become available but on the 1st of August, an even bigger set will launch for the theme. In particular, to celebrate 10 years since the first Minifigure scale LEGO Minecraft set released, we will be getting our first LEGO Minecraft D2C on the 1st of August 2024. The 18+ set of 21265 The Crafting Bench will retail for $89.99 with a total of 1,195 pieces. As the name suggests, the 18+ model is a large brick-built version of the in-game block of the Crafting Bench which is used to make various objects, tools, etc. on it. Two sides of the Crafting Bench block are open allowing access to a colourful brick-built LEGO Minecraft microworld inside. The scale of the microworld is reportedly even smaller than the original LEGO Minecraft sets from 2013 and 2014. From the detailed and accurate exterior to the wonderful microworld inside, the 18+ LEGO Minecraft set is covered with plenty of in-game references. The microworld includes five microscale modules based on existing biomes that can be detached and rearranged. The locations/biomes are the Taiga with a dripstone cave, Plains with a village, Ice Spikes with an igloo, Cherry Grove with an abandoned mineshaft and the Deep Dark with a lush cave. The microworld isn't complete though without microfigures with eight of them being included in 21265. These are Steve, Alex, a Skeleton, a Witch, a Creeper, a villager, a cow and a pig. The 18+ model also includes some stickers featuring phrases from the 15-year-old game that can be added to the front of 21265 The Crafting Bench. 21265 The Crafting Bench Set Name - The Crafting Bench Set Number - 21265 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,195 Price - $89.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 21265 The Crafting Bench is the first LEGO Minecraft D2C 18+ model but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21265 once it releases on the 1st of August 2024? Are you happy that the gaming theme is getting its first D2C? What other 18+ sets would you like to see based off the most popular video games at the moment? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Star Wars 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon Rumoured For August 2024

75389 Dark Millennium Falcon very much sounds like the biggest 'what if...' LEGO Star Wars set but the 10+ model will in fact be based on the upcoming four-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. On the 1st of August 2024, 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon will be available for $179.99 with a total of 1,578 pieces included. The most exciting part of the set has to be its Minifigure lineup which is just as weird and as wacky as the set name and idea. Supposedly, seven exclusive Minifigures are included of Darth Vader, Beach Luke Skywalker, Darth Jar Jar Binks, Darth Rey, Evil C-3PO, Darth Dev Greebling and Evil Chewbacca. All will include new torso and leg printing along with a range of accessories which we wouldn't associate with their characters. For example, Darth Jar Jar Binks will be dressed in black with a red lightsaber as an accessory. The build itself is still fairly unknown but it is of course the Millennium Flacon but in a much darker colour scheme and black and red tinted windows. We already have a picture of the build from the recent LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy trailer even though it will be slightly smaller. There'll still be some space inside the interior particularly in the cockpit with plenty of landing gear and weapons included for the evil emperor Darth Jar Jar Binks. 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon Set Name - Dark Millennium Falcon Set Number - 75389 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,578 Price - $179.99 / €179.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75389 in just a couple of months time? What do you think of these LEGO Star Wars 'what if...' sets? Will you be watching LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy once it airs on Disney+ in September? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Star Wars 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter Rumoured For August 2024

The last and only LEGO set that saw the anonymous Jedi Bob appear in was 2002s 7163 Republic Gunship but 22 years later the non-canon Jedi will make his return. This will both be as part of the upcoming f our-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy and in a brand new Summer 2024 set. In particular, it'll be in 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter which retails for $39.99 with 310 pieces included. Obviously, Jedi Bob will be included as a Minifigure in a much more updated and modern form. However, he'll still include his yellow skin colour for his head and arms. He'll also most likely come with a hood, a cape, printed arms and legs and of course his green lightsaber. We've already got our first images of the Minifigure in the recent LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy trailer even though this was only very briefly. Along with Jedi Bob, three more Minifigures are included of a Clone Trooper, Mon Calamari and an Astromech Droid. Those four Minifigures make the $40 price a lot more reasonable along with the main build of the set which will be Jedi Bob's Starfighter. For only 310 pieces, this won't be huge but will be similar to previous LEGO Star Wars starfighters such as 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter and 75360 Yoda's Jedi Starfighter. 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter Set Name - Jedi Bob's Starfighter Set Number - 75388 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 310 Price - $39.99 / €39.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter will release on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75388 in a couple of months time? Are you happy to see the return of Jedi Bob? Will you be watching the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy series once it releases on Disney+ in September? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Star Wars 75374 Onyx Cinder Rumoured For August 2024

When Jude Law was announced to be a Jedi in an upcoming Star Wars series, a lot of hype and excitement was immediately created for the series. This series in particular is known as Skeleton Crew which is set in the same period as the popular Mandalorian and Ahsoka series. The show is rumoured to be about "four kids who find themselves lost in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home...” but specific information is unknown. The Disney+ series is still scheduled to release in 2024 with many sources suggesting a November or December release. This is much later than planned with suggestions that the series could air as early as December 2023 but this obviously didn't come to fruition. Still, LEGO has at least one set lined up to launch alongside the release of the series with this being the previously rumoured 75374 Onyx Cinder. Onyx Cinder is a brand new spaceship for the Star Wars universe and looks to be the main one in the Skeleton Crew series. In LEGO form it'll be a fair size with 1,325 pieces included for a retail price of $139.99. This suggests a fully detailed interior such as a cockpit and an engine room along with plenty of moveable parts to assist with the landing of the new brick-built spaceship. For $140 we're also expecting a few Minifigures which will all be exclusive and based on brand new characters. These Minifigures could include Jude Law's mysterious Jedi and the four kids that we previously mentioned in the article. Could we also see a new droid or even some returning characters? We'll have to wait and see as 75374 Onyx Cinder reportedly releases on the 1st of August 2024. 75374 Onyx Cinder Set Name - Onyx Cinder Set Number - 75374 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,325 Price - $139.99 / €139.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75374 Onyx Cinder releases on the 1st of August 2024 (if it doesn't get delayed again) but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75374 in just a couple of months time? Are you looking forward to the brand-new Skeleton Crew series? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Star Wars Rumoured August 2024 Sets | Jedi Bob, Dark Millennium Falcon, Buildable C-3PO + More

We've already seen official images of 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer but another nine sets are expected to launch on the 1st of August 2024 for the LEGO Star Wars theme. 2024 represents not only 25 years since the launch of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace but also 25 years since the release of the first-ever LEGO Star Wars model. The celebrations continue in this wave with three exclusive celebratory Minifigures in three separate sets. We've already seen one of these anniversary Minifigures in 75394 with this being our first-ever Carl Kestis figure. The other two anniversary Minifigures releasing on the 1st of August 2024 are Nien Nunb and Young Leia. Nien comes in 75396 Escape From The Sarlacc Pit which is a Minifigure heavy set perfect to go alongside 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge which releases in October. Meanwhile, Young Leia comes under the set number 75392 which is reportedly an unknown buildable figure. Also a part of the celebrations in 2024 is a brand new four-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. The Disney+ series airs on the 13th of September 2024 with three of the nine sets launching on the 1st of August 2024 directly tieing in with the new miniseries. These are 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter, 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon and 75393 X-Wing VS TIE Fighter. 75385 Battle Of Peridia is based off another Disney+ series but this time one that aired back in 2023 of the highly popular Ahsoka. She's included in this $55 set along with Ezra Bridger, Morgan Elizabeth, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Enoch. Another buildable character is also included in this action-packed wave with it this time being C-3PO in 75398 Buildable C-3PO. This 18+ model will retail for $139.99 with 1,138 pieces. That leaves us with our final two sets which are the most likely sets of the wave to not release in August and are instead either delayed or entirely cancelled. The first of these is 75374 Onyx Cinder which is based on the upcoming Skeleton Crew series. The show only has a release date of 2024 even though 75374 was originally meant to release in January. And 75399 Microscale Jedi Temple has had only the faintest of rumours suggesting it could very likely not exist at all. 75374 Onyx Cinder Set Name - Onyx Cinder Set Number - 75374 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,325 Price - $139.99 / €139.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75385 Battle Of Peridia Set Name - Battle Of Peridia Set Number - 75385 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 382 Price - $54.99 / €49.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter Set Name - Jedi Bob's Starfighter Set Number - 75388 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 310 Price - $39.99 / €39.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon Set Name - Dark Millennium Falcon Set Number - 75389 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,578 Price - $179.99 / €179.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75392 *TBC Buildable Creature* Set Name - *TBC Buildable Creature* Set Number - 75392 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,186 Price - $99.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75393 X-Wing VS TIE Fighter Set Name - X-Wing VS TIE Fighter Set Number - 75393 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,058 Price - $109.99 / €109.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75396 Escape From The Sarlacc Pit Set Name - Escape From The Sarlacc Pit Set Number - 75396 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 558 Price - $79.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75398 Buildable C-3PO Set Name - Buildable C-3PO Set Number - 75398 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,138 Price - $139.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75399 Microscale Jedi Temple Set Name - Microscale Jedi Temple Set Number - 75399 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - Price - $159.99 / €159.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August (or September) 2024 All nine of these LEGO Star Wars sets release on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Marvel 76295 Midiscale Helicarrier Rumoured For August 2024

We've already had official pictures of many LEGO Marvel sets releasing on the 1st of August 2024 yet we're still waiting for official presentations of two more sets. These include 76287 Iron Man VS. Hulk and 76295 Midiscale Helicarrier which will launch in just over two months time. The latter of the two sets we'll be covering in today's article as 76295 retails for $59.99 with a total of 509 pieces. The LEGO Star Wars theme saw the reintroduction of midiscale sets in 2023 and has continued to expand with that line of 18+ models in 2024. And now LEGO Marvel will be introducing midiscale sets starting with 76295 which sees a midiscale version of the Helicarrier. The ship won't be very large with only 509 pieces included but it will still be extremely detailed with a couple of small references hidden in the build. The Helicarrier will most likely sit on a black stand similar to the previously mentioned LEGO Star Wars midiscale spaceships. And, once again similar to the Star Wars sets, 76295 Midiscale Helicarrier will remain exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home. 76295 Midiscale Helicarrier Set Name - Midiscale Helicarrier Set Number - 76295 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 509 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 76295 Midiscale Helicarrier releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Star Wars 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer Officially Revealed | August 2024

Star Wars Day may be over but LEGO have continued with the Star Wars-themed celebrations by officially presenting a brand new intergalactic set. This is 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer which is one of many sets releasing on the 1st of August 2024 for the licensed LEGO theme. 75394 will be one of the biggest playsets of the year with it including a total of 1,555 pieces for a retail price of $159.99. Many LEGO Star Wars Star Destroyers have released in the last 25 years but the most recent Minifigure scale model is 2014s 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer. 75394 is very similar to the June 2014 set but on an even bigger scale with almost 200 pieces more. The Imperial Star Destroyer can easily be opened up to reveal an expansive interior which still keeps the original shape of the spaceship on the outside. Inside the Imperial Star Destroyer we can find plenty of rooms and details even if they are a bit small. There's the bridge, the command room, a break room, an armoury, control panels and a cargo box with kyber crystals and thermal detonators. The Imperial Star Destroyer is also equipped with two stud shooters and can be carried on a handle allowing ease of play and display for the Summer 2024 model. For $160, we don't only get a fantastic build but we also get seven Minifigues including another exclusive anniversary Minifigure of Cal Kestis. He's included in 75394 along with Darth Vader, Commander Praji, an Imperial Gunner, an Imperial Navy Trooper, a Stormtrooper and another Imperial crew member. A blue lightsaber for Cal Kestis is included along with a red lightsaber for Darth Vader. 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer Set Name - Imperial Star Destroyer Set Number - 75394 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,555 Price - $159.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 Our first LEGO Star Wars set for August 2024 has been revealed and what a set it is but what do you think? • LEGO Marvel 76287 Iron Man VS. Hulk Rumoured For August 2024

We've already had official pictures of many LEGO Marvel sets releasing on the 1st of August 2024 yet we're still waiting for official presentations of two more sets. These include 76287 Iron Man VS. Hulk and 76295 Midiscale Helicarrier which will launch in just over two months time. The former of the two sets we'll be covering in today's article as 76287 retails for $14.99 with a total of just 68 pieces. That price-per-piece ratio is extremely harsh but that's because 76287 Iron Man VS. Hulk is the first and only LEGO Marvel 4+ set releasing this summer. As the name suggests, we're expecting a showdown between Iron Man and Hulk which may depict the fight between Iron Man, Veronica, and the Hulk in Age of Ultron but on a much smaller, play-friendly scale. Iron Man and Hulk will be the only two Minifigures of the set and will not be exclusive. They are supposedly included along with some brick-built wall structure or some part of an existing Marvel-themed building. A play feature is then included which allows a motorbike, which is also included in the $15 set, to break through and destroy the wall. 76287 Iron Man VS. Hulk Set Name - Iron Man VS. Hulk Set Number - 76287 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 68 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 76287 Iron Man VS. Hulk releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 76287 in a couple of months time? What's your opinion on 4+ sets, particularly in the LEGO Marvel theme? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

2024 has been another action-packed year for the LEGO City theme and we now have official pictures of the theme's last model of the year. In particular, this is 60423 Downtown Streetcar and Station which will retail for $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 and includes a total of 811 pieces. It will release on the 1st of August 2024 - two months after the full LEGO City Summer wave and one month before 2024's LEGO City Advent Calendar. With 811 pieces, 60423 is one of the biggest LEGO City sets of the year which replicates a downtown tram station. A tram, or streetcar as LEGOs calling it, features three segments with both the front and rear segments including space for a driver. The tram is red with plenty of windows enabling a bright interior along with double boarding doors on each side of the transport. As the name suggests, a station is included along with the tram which can be split into two to form either separate stations or one mega platform. A ramp and stairs can easily be attached allowing disabled access to the station which is complete with a small coffee shop, a ticket machine, a cute bench and some electronic screens showing the times of the next trams. A small section of grey track is also included for the tram even though it can easily function even without the addition of the large, moulded pieces. A total of six Minifigures are included of a tram driver, a girl in a wheelchair, a young boy with a ticket, an elderly man, a female coffee shop worker and a blind man with a guide dog. 60423 Downtown Streetcar and Station Set Name - Downtown Streetcar and Station Set Number - 60423 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 811 Price - $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 60423 Downtown Streetcar and Station releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO 40690 Tribute To Jules Verne's Books GWP Rumoured For 21st June 2024

In previous years we've seen two LEGO 'tribute' Gift With Purchases with the most recent of these being the LEGO Ideas set of 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei. But in 2024 we'll be getting a brand new tribute promotional item of 40690 Tribute To Jules Verne's Books GWP. The 12+ model will include a total of 351 pieces for a currently unknown threshold that starts on the 21st of June 2024. The set pays homage to Jules Verne’s books with a small microscale diorama. This is in the form of, unsurprisingly, an open book with a brick-built bridge that includes a black train on it. For those Jules Verne fans out there, you'll know this is also better know as the Jules Verne Train or the "Train Time Machine" or simply the "Time Train". Also in the microscale is a brick-built hot air balloon and a golden Nautilus submarine. All of this references Jules Verne and adds to an Easter egg-heavy build for an incredible author from France. And of course, the 351 pieced build isn't complete without the man himself as Jules Verne is included as an exclusive Minifigure in 40690. 40690 Tribute To Jules Verne's Books GWP Set Name - Tribute To Jules Verne's Books GWP Set Number - 40690 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 351 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 21st June 2024 40690 Tribute To Jules Verne's Books GWP becomes available on the 21st of June 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Officially Announces Brand New LEGO Wicked Theme For October 2024

The rumour mill has been in full swing in 2024 with new themes such as LEGO Animal Crossing and LEGO Fortnite creating plenty of hype. Not only are LEGO exploring the depths of the gaming world with their new themes, but they are also heading to Broadway with the brand new LEGO Wicked theme. That's right, the iconic Westend musical Wicked will have its own LEGO theme starting on the 1st of October 2024. The musical was first performed over 20 years ago on the 10th of June 2003 but has continued to grow in popularity year on year. Wicked will become the first LEGO theme to be based on Broadway talent yet it will also tie into the upcoming Wicked movie. The highly anticipated film comes out later this year on the 27th of November 2024 - just under two months before these four LEGO sets. The film adaptation will be split into two parts due to the story's complexity and length. Part 1 is releasing this November with part 2 expected to release as early as 2025. This first wave of LEGO sets will be based on Wicked Part 1 but we expect LEGO to also cover the second part of the adaptation. LEGO today confirmed this with a teaser video on their social media platforms, a brand new page poping up on LEGO shop@home and a press release floating around the internet. Thanks to Brickset, we can share the press release with you which confirms LEGO Wicked will be a brand new theme launching on the 1st of October 2024 with four brand new sets. Something Wicked is coming... New LEGO Wicked sets to launch this autumn The LEGO Group and Universal Products & Experiences are bringing to life 4 new LEGO Wicked sets featuring mini-dolls, launching 1st October 2024! The ‘ popular ’ musical phenomenon, Wicked , becomes a two-part gravity-defying cinematic event with the first film arriving in cinemas on November 27th and the second coming in autumn 2025. LEGO Group will introduce four sets inspired by the first film that will allow fans to delve deeper into some of the most iconic scenes straight out of Oz and explore core themes, characters, and songs from the upcoming film. Wicked , the untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning powerhouse Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, a defiant social outcast who has yet to discover her true power, and Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and global superstar Ariana Grande (Hairspray Live!, Don’t Look Up), as Glinda, a popular young woman, gilded by privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart. “The story of Wicked creates such an incredible experience for families, so being part of the team creating LEGO sets inspired by the upcoming movie and bringing that universe to life is hugely exciting.” says Raquel Ojeda Gregorio, LEGO Wicked Design Lead at the LEGO Group. “ Wicked has some of the most magical locations and characters and recreating that with LEGO bricks is a match made in Oz. I can’t wait for fans to see these colourful sets and hope they will enjoy unlocking their imagination, creating, and telling their own Wicked -inspired stories.” Stay tuned for the full reveal of the LEGO Wicked sets later this year and coming to fans from 1st October 2024 on www.LEGO.com/Wicked . As we've already mentioned, the LEGO Wicked theme will kick off with a total of four sets ranging from $30 to $100. But as the press release states and as LEGO shop@home teases, LEGO Wicked will include minidolls rather than Minifigures. This will likely be a disappoint to many fans but the hope will be that these four sets include extremely iconic and detailed builds to make up for the lack of Minifigures. 75681 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75681 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 304 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 75682 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75682 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 558 Price - $54.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 75683 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75683 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $69.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 75684 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75684 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 945 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 Another year and plenty more brand-new themes from LEGO with the confirmation of LEGO Wicked releases on the 1st of October 2024. Are you happy with LEGO's decision to use minidolls rather than Minifigures in the brand-new theme? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Icons 10338 Transformers: Bumblebee Rumoured For July 2024

It's been almost two years since the LEGO Icons model 10302 Optimus Prime released but in less than two months time LEGO and Hasbro will once again be partnering together. This time they'll be making the bright yellow transformer Bumblebee in brick-built LEGO form under the set number 10338. It will retail for $89.99 with 950 pieces which is considerably less than 2022s brick built Optimus Prime which had 1,508 pieces for $169.99. The iconic brick-built Autobot will have the same play feature as Optimus Prime where by it can transform into a car without removing or adding any pieces. The 2in1 Bumblebee model is based on its G1 appearance and therefore transforms into a yellow Volkswagen beetle. In its fully-fledged Transformers form, 10338 will measure 25 cm tall which is 10 cm smaller than 10302 Optimus Prime. Like many 18+ LEGO Icons sets, 10338 doesn't include any stickers and therefore includes an exclusive 2x2 printed yellow tile with the Transformers logo in red. Unlike Optimus Prime, Bumblebee with a much lower piece count and price will not include a couple of brick-built accessories. The brick-built Bumblebee Autobot will be the main and only build along with the usual 18+ black information plaque. 10338 Transformers: Bumblebee Set Name - Transformers: Bumblebee Set Number - 10338 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 950 Price - $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 Release Date - 1st July 2024 10338 Transformers Bumblebee releases on the 1st of July 2024 but what do you think?
