- LEGO Minecraft 21273 Ghast Balloon Village Attack Rumoured For March 2025
Anticipation continues to build for the upcoming A Minecraft Movie with less than three months to go until the film launches in cinemas. Unsurprisingly, LEGO is getting in on the action and the hype of the upcoming movie after celebrating 10 years of the gaming theme in 2024. On the 1st of March 2025, two sets based on A Minecraft Movie will be available: 21272 Woodland Mansion Treasure Room and 21273 Ghast Balloon Village Attack. The latter of these is the focus of today's article with the 10+ model including a total of 555 pieces retailing for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99. Just like 21272, 21273 is based on elements of the film which we've already seen in the trailers and in particular the really cool-looking Ghast Balloons that the piglins ride. One of these so-called balloons is included in this set with it basically being just some piglins riding a brick-built Ghast. That's mainly because the focus of the 10+ model is with the 'Village Attack'. A brick-built fountain is included which has been destroyed by a missile attack play feature from the Ghast. Two other buildings from the village include a work shed and Steve's fried chicken shop which has a model of a large chicken that lays eggs on its roof. Just like 21272 Woodland Mansion Treasure Room, the Ghast Balloon Village Attack is packed full of Minifigures and mobs. Jack Black's Steve returns as a Minifigure along with an exclusive Natalie and Dawn. Two piglins are also included along with a Ghast, a villager, a baby chicken and a moveable Iron Golem figure. 21273 Ghast Balloon Village Attack Set Name - Ghast Balloon Village Attack Set Number - 21273 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 555 Price - $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 21273 Ghast Balloon Village Attack releases on the 1st of March 2025 but what do you think? - LEGO Icons 10362 French Café Officially Revealed | March 2025
On the 1st of January 2025, the LEGO Icons brand introduced a new subtheme named 'Gardens of the World', inspired by world-famous gardens. This debuted with 10359 Fountain Garden but exactly two months later we're getting another LEGO Icons subtheme entitled 'Restaurants of the World'. This second new Icons subtheme of 2025 will launch with a brand new set that's been officially revealed today of 10362 French Café. The brand new 18+ model includes a total of 1,101 pieces retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 once it releases on the 1st of March 2025. The new subtheme, and therefore 10362, acts as a much cheaper way to get into 18+ city buildings rather than by the much beloved LEGO Modular Building collection. The compromise however is rather than a fully fledged building with an interior, we just get a brick-built facade. 10362's build is a detailed picturesque facade of a brick-built French Caf é in pastel orange and beige tones, combined with light green walls and windows. The classic cafe building, named Café Fleur, is equipped with an array of decorative features, including a grey sidewalk with tables and chairs, hanging flowerpots, an elegant entrance with two transparent doors and a tall black lamppost. The double transparent doors can be opened to allow access to a very small interior giving us a hint of the action-packed yet peaceful atmosphere of a French Café. We get a glimpse of a cosy interior with regal wallpaper and dark wood furnishings along with the usual cafe accessories and details including croissants, cups, a newspaper and a cash register. The whole build, including the cafe and its beautiful exterior and sidewalk, sits on the stereotypical 18+ black diorama base. This diorama base, its slim profile and a flat back shows how it is targeted exclusively towards adults and will make a great display piece in any home. However, contrary to rumours, the seats outside of the cafe suggest that it is Minifigure scale and can therefore be paired with your favourite figures from your own LEGO city. 10362 French Café Set Name - French Café Set Number - 10362 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,101 Price - $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 10362 French Café releases on the 1st of March 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10362 in a months time? Do you like the look of this brand-new LEGO Icons subtheme? What other global restaurants do you want to see in brick-built LEGO form? The Woodland Mansion is one of the rarest and largest naturally generating structures in Minecraft but the mansion has never appeared in brick-built LEGO form. In the themes previous 10 years of existence, we haven't even come close but on the 1st of March 2025, that will be finally changing. Or at least it will sort of be changing with the release of 21272 Woodland Mansion Treasure Room. 21272 is one of two LEGO Minecraft sets coming in 2025 based on the upcoming A Minecraft Movie along with 21273 Ghast Balloon Village Attack. The 10+ model retails for a total of $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 with 491 pieces included. The set recreates the treasure room in the Woodland Mansion which has already been seen in previous trailers for the theme and will measure 17 cm high, 14 cm wide and 6 cm deep. The main focus of the build will be an arena located inside the treasure room. A brick-built wall of the Woodland mansion containing the chest and weapons shelf can be removed to reveal this secret arena located in the treasure room. Here we can find weapons, potions and an arena handle to attach characters and recreate battle scenes from the film. There's also a place where you can display the winners and losers of a supposedly three-way match. The set isn't complete without a range of exclusive Minifigures and iconic Minecraft mobs. Jack Black's Steve is included as a Minifigure along with two other human characters of Garrett and Henry. Mobs of a baby Zombie, a chicken and a brick-built, moveable model of the Great Hog - the leader of the piglins from the Minecraft Legends spin-off game. 21272 Woodland Mansion Treasure Room Set Name - Woodland Mansion Treasure Room Set Number - 21272 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 491 Price - $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 21272 Woodland Mansion Treasure Room releases on the 1st of March 2025 but what do you think? A total of seven LEGO Ideas models will be leaving shelves at the end of this year with the oldest of these being 2022s 21335 Motorised Lighthouse. - LEGO Marvel 76315 Iron Man's Laboratory: Hall of Armor Rumoured For April 2025
Six years after its first brick-built appearance and LEGO will be returning to a recreation of Iron Man's Hall of Armor later this year. In particular, this brand-new Hall of Armor based specifically on the third Iron Man film is coming under the set 76315 Iron Man's Laboratory: Hall of Armor. The 8+ model includes a total of 384 pieces retailing for $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 once it releases on the 1st of April 2025. Compared to 2019s 76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor, 2025s 76315 is substantially smaller, both in terms of build size and piece count with almost 200 fewer elements. However, 76315 has just one less Minifigure with a total of five included for that high price point of $54.99. These Minifigures are Pepper Potts, Aldrich Killian, Iron Patriot MK1 and two Iron Man figures which includes the superhero in his MK42 suit. Along with the five Minifigures we also have a couple of brick-built Marvel characters. The first of these is a new Igor (the Mark 38 that’s used for heavy lifting) buildable armour which can fit a single Minifigure. This feature, and the overall size of Igor, make it similar to a mech in a blue and grey colour scheme with moveable arms and legs. And the final brick-built character is Iron Man's robot assistant Dum-E who also appears in January's 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk. The build itself is basically a much smaller version of 76315 including just a couple of the usual brick-built modules to store Iron Man suits. A rotating podium is also included almost identical to the one from 2019 and once again includes a couple of robotic arms. The rest of the 384 pieces are dedicated to the blue Igor build, the five Minifigures and a couple of accessories from different stud shooters and guns to fire extinguishers. 76315 Iron Man's Laboratory: Hall of Armor Set Name - Iron Man's Laboratory: Hall of Armor Set Number - 76315 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 384 Price - $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 Release Date - 1st April 2025 76315 Iron Man's Laboratory: Hall of Armor releases on the 1st of April 2025 but what do you think? Many LEGO themes and licenses have kicked off the new year in style with plenty of new releases, iconic locations recreated in brick-built form and brand-new, exclusive Minifigures. One of the themes missing from the flurry of January 1st releases was the ever-present LEGO Ideas theme. But LEGO has thankfully today presented the first of many models releasing in 2025 of 21354 Twilight The Cullen House The latest 18+ LEGO model includes a total of 2,001 pieces retailing for $219.99 / €219.99 / £189.99 once it releases on the 1st of February 2025. Twilight The Cullen House won the first review of 2023 alongside the already available 21353 The Botanical Garden. Just like that November 2024 model, 21354 is Minifigure based and therefore includes some brand new prints for a range of exclusive characters in LEGO form. The original submission by LobsterThermidor included four Minifigures from the popular film series of Bella, Jacob, Edward and Calisle Cullen. However, the original submission also included exactly 2,995 pieces - almost 1,000 more than the official set - suggesting that plenty of design changes have been made as can be seen from today's official images. The overall build may be a smaller size but the Minifigure selection is much larger including a total of seven exclusive characters. These are Bella Swan, Edward Cullen (with sparkle effect), Jacob Black, Carlisle Cullen, Alice Cullen, Charlie Swan and Rosalie Hale. Also included is a brick-built version of Jacob in a fully posable wolf form. The main build is obviously a brick-built interpretation of the iconic three-story “Hoke House” which was used as the Cullen family residence in the Twilight Saga films. LEGO have stayed true to the original incorporating a slick brick-built design coloured mainly grey and dark orange. A small driveway with a garage door, a section of scenery and a large thin tree is included in the model's exterior. Being a set based on both books and movies, 21354 Twilight The Cullen House is packed full of details and references. Various rooms are included across the three floors of the house with the ground floor showcasing a beautifully brick-built grand piano that Edward Bella plays in the first film. Moving on to the second floor we have the kitchen and living room located next to a range of windows allowing plenty of light into the detchable house. Here we can find a range of "normal" human food, hanging baseball caps and a range of stickered picture frames. Above these rooms is Edward's room with his record collection and player. Once again, similar to the original model, Edward can jump directly out of his bedroom window while Bella sits on his back and escapes into the forest. 21354 Twilight The Cullen House Set Name - Twilight The Cullen House Set Number - 21354 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,001 Price - $219.99 / €219.99 / £189.99 Release Date - 1st February 2025 21354 Twilight The Cullen House becomes the first LEGO Ideas set of 2025 releasing on the 1st of February but what do you think? - LEGO Architecture 21062 Trevi Fountain Officially Revealed | March 2025
2024 was an extremely quiet year for the LEGO Architecture theme with the release of just a single model of 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris. However, from the 1st of March 2025, the first of two LEGO Architecture sets releasing in 2025 will hit shelves of 21062 Trevi Fountain. The 18+ model, which has been officially presented by the Danes today, includes a total of 1,880 pieces retailing for $159.99 / €159.99 / £139.99. As the name suggests, 21062 is a brick-built recreation of the famous Trevi Fountain found in Rome, Italy. The largest Baroque fountain in the city of Rome is one of the most famous and beautiful fountains in the world, dating all the way back to the 18th century. In fact, the fountain is so famous and popular that LEGO recreated it back in 2014 with 21020 Trevi Fountain. However, the 2025 version is much bigger, more detailed and includes a lot more colour. 21062 Trevi Fountain recreates the fountain on a grander scale with a beautifully crafted waterfall and rockface creating a realistic, natural feel. The 18+ set mainly makes use of white, tan and pink colours for the back wall which includes plenty of minute details along with plain Minifigures to recreate the statues seen at the Trevi Fountain. Authentic details from the original model remain but in a modern, updated style like the façade of the Palazzo Poli and iconic statues of Oceanus in his shell chariot and Abundance and Health in that plan minifigure statue form. There are also hippocampi and Tritons figures in the water, the small ‘Lovers’ Fountain’ off to the side, and the usual 18+ nameplate to make the perfect LEGO display piece. 21062 Trevi Fountain Set Name - Trevi Fountain Set Number - 21062 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,880 Price - $159.99 / €159.99 / £139.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 21062 Trevi Fountain releases on the 1st of March 2025 but what do you think?
