The first LEGO Minifigure s  series of 2026 has been officially revealed ahead of a release next month on the 1st of January 2026. This latest CMF series follows on from the superhero-heavy 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Series ,  which launched in September, with a return to the standard numbered LEGO Minifigure s  series of Series 28. However, this series is a full lineup of twelve animal-themed costume characters... 71051 CMF Series 28: The Party follows on from the likes of 71010 Series 14: Monsters and 71046 Series 26: Space , with a numbered series based around a specific theme. This time, our first LEGO Minifigure  series of the new year is centred entirely on costume-style figures, building on the popularity of past single-character suits such as Pterodactyl Costume Fan and Hamster Costume Fan, which both appeared in 71048 Series 27 . Full Minifigure Lineup Here’s a breakdown of the twelve figures making up CMF Series 28: The Party Animals: Peacock Costume Fan  - One of the most vibrant costumes in this series, the Peacock Costume Fan features a bold and colourful peacock tail piece, the exact same element that was used for the Turkey Costume in 71034 Series 23 . A small sunflower flower build is also included as an accessory to contrast nicely with the mainly blue and yellow figure. White Cat Costume Fan  - A feline-inspired figure, but this time with an entirely white cat head piece, torso and tail, along with a ball of pink coloured yarn. Fish Costume Fan  - There's something a bit fishy about this figure with a brand new headpiece featuring large fish-like eyes. The head piece extends down the figure to the torso and waist to recreate fish fins, matching the orange fins that replace the standard LEGO Minifigure  arms. Monkey Costume Fan  - Somewhat a throwback to the Gorilla Suit Guy in Series 3, this time we're getting a LEGO Minifigure  dressed entirely as a cheeky brown monkey. The figure uses a brand-new monkey headpiece with large ears, along with a tail, and, unsurprisingly, a banana. Frog Costume Fan  - Featuring a fun and very unique frog headpiece along with a bubble blower as an accessory. A printed bubble container is also included. Koala Costume Fan  - A nod to Australia, this figure features a brand-new koala headpiece and comes with two accessories: a leafy branch piece and a boomerang. One of the character's face prints also includes an eye mask. Dalmatian Costume Fan  - The LEGO Disney  theme have released a few 101 Dalmatian themed sets in 2025, and in 2026, we're getting a Minifigure dressed up as an adorable spotted dog. The figure utilising a somewhat altered version of the dog head piece from Series 21's Pug Costume Guy, along with an accessory of a blue frisbee. Crocodile Costume Fan  - Another animal often found down under is a crocodile, which will also be releasing as a LEGO Minifigure  on the 1st of January 2026. This character includes a very unique headpiece and two accessories of a yellow rubber duck and a pink and white lifebuoy. Dolphin Costume Fan  - The Dolphin Costume Fan follows a very similar style to Shark Suit Guy from Series 15, with the figure using a brand new moulded head piece that stretches along the back of the character. A clam shell is featured as the Minifigure's accessory. Bunny Costume Fan  - Plenty of LEGO Minifigures  dressed as bunnies have appeared in the past, but Series 28's version is just as cute and fun as the rest. Bunny Costume Fan comes in a mainly tan colour scheme with a white chest. A bunny headpiece with one ear slightly down is included, along with an Easter themed accessory of an Easter egg and a brown basket. Lion Costume Fan  - The closest we've gotten to a LEGO Minifigure  dressed as a lion is the Cowardly Lion, which featured in the LEGO Movie 2 series. This version, releasing in 2026, utilises a brand new head mould and comes in the standard, more cartoon-like lion of yellow and red/brown. A single accessory of a chicken leg piece is also included. Parrot Costume Fan  - Last but not least, we have another very colourful and unique Minifigure of the Parrot Costume Fan. After the official presentation of 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary early last month, the LEGO Group have now revealed more LEGO NINJAGO sets for 2026. However, rather than the remaining 10 sets releasing on the 1st of January 2026, which we're still yet to see, the Danish toy manufacturers have showcased the themes March 2026 wave, consisting of two sets: 71853 Jay's Dragon Mech Fight and 71860 Lloyd's Titan Mech. 71853 Jay's Dragon Mech Fight The two sets in this mini LEGO NINJAGO  wave are completely different builds, targeted at separate audiences. 71853 Jay's Dragon Mech Fight is a 4+ model, including just 107 pieces, retailing for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99. Two mechs are included along with two corresponding LEGO Minifigure s : a blue dragon-themed mech for Jay and a green swamp-like mech for the Mutation Monster, which features a large Minifigure head mainly used from Bigfigs. The 14+ model has the exact name as one of the most beautifully designed NINJAGO mechs of all time - 70676 Lloyd's Titan Mech. 2026's model with a total of 1,293 pieces retailing for $129.99 / €129.99 / £109.99 recreates this mighty white, green and gold mech in an updated and slightly larger design. The build also includes a massive shield that can be split and strapped to its back as wings. The Ice Elemental Master is the 14+ sets exclusive 15th anniversary Minifigure, which is included alongside just two more Minifigures of Lloyd and Grimfax. Compared to 2022's 76217 I am Groot , the 10+ 2026 model includes 100 more pieces at 604 pieces and retails for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99. Whilst the face of LEGO Groot looks very similar to previous versions, Groot’s body/outfit is based on the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie, wearing the red jumpsuit with one large zipper down the middle. Two of these are brand new LEGO Marvel mechs, which continue to remain a prominent part of the superhero themes lineup. Along with three Spidey and His Amazing Friends , another nine Super Hero themed sets will be releasing on the 1st of January 2026 from the ever-popular LEGO Marvel theme. This one in particular is 75449 Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack, which retails for a total of $22.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 and includes 116 pieces. This LEGO Star Wars Battle Pack includes a total of four LEGO Minifigure s : two Mandalorian Super Commandos and two Ahsoka versions of 332nd Clone Troopers. Each figure comes with signature armour, helmets and blasters, bringing the dramatic Siege of Mandalore to life. The 6+ model also features a red Mandalorian Speeder and the Commando's small barricade. In recent years, the LEGO Group has continued to grow its line of brick-built sets for both adults and younger builders, with plenty of 4+ branded sets appearing across both licensed and unlicensed themes. In June this year, we even saw the brand new LEGO Duplo and LEGO 4+ theme of Bluey launch, marking another entirely 4+ theme alongside LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse , which first released a range of sets in 2023. However, in 2026, the LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse theme will continue, but with the first non-branded 4+ set of 11215 Gabbys Brick-Built Cat Friends. With a 1st of January 2026 release date, 11215 is instead branded as a 6+ model, including 324 pieces retailing for $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99. As the name suggests, we can expect the January 2026 set to include a range of Gabby's iconic cat friends as brick-built LEGO figures. With just over 300 pieces, three or four posable cat characters will likely appear in 11215. Great Scott! Another official reveal has taken place, and it's another 2026 presentation belonging to the LEGO Speed Champions theme. Following on from official images of 77255 Lightning McQueen last month, the homegrown LEGO theme has showcased another movie-inspired car, this time travelling all the way back to the 1980s with 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future. The 9+ model releases on the 1st of January 2026 alongside a further five brick-built high-speed cars. It retails for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99, includes 357, and is the first single-car LEGO Speed Champions set to include two LEGO Minifigures . These figures are unsurprisingly Doc Brown and Marty McFly, who both fit inside the cockpit of the eight-stud-wide time machine. Just like 77255 Lightning McQueen , the DeLorean Time Machine has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form, most recently as a display-worthy LEGO Icons  model of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine . In 2026, however, this DeLorean is obviously completely Minifigure scale yet still captures the iconic time-travelling features of the vehicle in its light grey colour scheme, complete with various stickers for further details. The set offers various customisation features allowing builders to switch between the version from the first movie with the long lightning rod and a California license plate, and the flying version, which appears in the second part. The LEGO Star Wars  mech subtheme returned this year with the release of 75411 Darth Maul Mech  in June, and on the 1st of January 2026, we'll see another brick-built mech for the licensed theme. In particular, this is 75448 Clone Shock Trooper Mech, which includes 151 pieces, retailing for the standard single LEGO mech price of $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99. The brick-built mech takes inspiration from the Clone shock troopers, who are a highly skilled, elite range of clone troopers that form the Coruscant Guard. They have an extremely distinctive armour scheme, coloured white and red with specialised helmets upgraded with breath filters and annunciators. These unique elements are translated onto the brick-built mech, which accurately replicates the striking red-accented armour design. The Clone Shock Trooper Mech has plenty of posability with movement in its arms, legs and feet to create multiple battle poses. A single Clone Shock Trooper LEGO Minifigure is included in the 6+ model and can be placed in the mech's cockpit whilst its blaster rifle is attached to the back of the build. This Black Friday, LEGO fans are in for a treat that spans both the cosmos and the medieval ages. While the LEGO Group takes us to the final frontier with the highly anticipated Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D , there's also a throwback to LEGO's classic castle era with a brand new Gift With Purchase . In particular, this promotional item is 40775 Mini Knight's Castle, which has been officially revealed today ahead of its debut for 2025's LEGO Insiders Weekend. The 590-piece castle-themed build recreates two nostalgic LEGO fortresses in a micro-scale form: 6073 Knight's Castle (1984) and LEGO 6086 Black Knight's Castle (1992). The former of the two is the smaller build of 40775 featuring a stone grey curtain wall with two rear towers, each adorned with green and white flags. This castle can be opened out to form a full fortress wall and reveal the glow-in-the-dark ghost hiding in one of the towers. The second build, inspired by the larger 6086 Black Knight's Castle, features a darker, black curtain wall contrasted with blue and red flags. Set atop rocky terrain, this microscale interpretation includes red-roofed mini great halls, keeps and dungeons. The mini build also includes a flip-up gate, but does not open to reveal any further hidden details or spooky builds. To complete the promotional item, there are two brick-built knights and horses included in the 18+ model. Each corresponds to the flags of the two castles and rounds off the charming miniature medieval scene, which will be available with all LEGO purchases over $250. LEGO fans will be embarking on a creative voyage later this month, as, along with 10356 Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D , the LEGO Group is also releasing a corresponding Star Trek-themed Gift With Purchase : 40768 Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod. With 261 pieces, 40768 is one of many LEGO promotional items available for 2025's Black Friday weekend, and it will be exclusively available with purchases of 10356 from the 28th of November 2025. The officially revealed 18+ model recreates one of The Next Generation's most recognisable auxiliary craft of the Type-15 Shuttlepod in brick-built LEGO form. The build is nearly all white with prints/stickers included for details such as the Starfleet insignia and shuttle markings. Opening wing doors and a rear hatch reveals a brick-built interior featuring a depiction of an LCARS system display with the Stardate 45076.3 and a schematic of a Romulan spacecraft. With another F1 Championship secured this year, LEGO are now releasing a completely brick-built version of the McLaren W1 under the ever-growing and popular LEGO Speed Champions theme. The real car's extreme performance and racing heritage are recreated in brick-built LEGO form with 287 pieces retailing for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99. One of six LEGO Speed Champions models releasing in just over a months time includes 339 pieces retailing for the standard price of $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99. The car's sharply angled, wedge-shaped front end, incorporating curved slopes and plates, recreates the cab-forward design in brick-built form. The headlights of the vehicle will likely be stickers along with subtle ridges and panels along the hood to echo Ferrari's signature performance styling.
