The LEGO Art theme has so far had quite a successful 2022 with at least one more set rumoured for a 2022 release. This will be the previously rumoured 31207 which will now be called 'Floral Art' rather than being based on the Museum of Modern Art like the previous LEGO Ideas set 21333 Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night. The set will also now be coming in August rather than June like the recently revealed 31206 The Rolling Stones. As the name suggests, the set will now be based on a selection of coloured flowers with there being three different mosaics to make. 31207 will also come in a white frame rather than a black frame and using the usual LEGO Art style of loads of small 1x1 circular tiles. This can be shown in the smaller retail prices of $79.99 and bigger piece count of 2870. Its been rumoured for a while now that the new LEGO theme Cocunut is actually LEGO Avatar but Promobricks.de have now given us even more information about the sets. All four of these sets will be available from 1st October 2022 with a likely reveal at LEGO CON on 18th June 2022. The four sets are also all based on the highly popular James Cameron's Avatar franchise which first released in 2009. On 16th December 2022, the second Avatar film by James Cameron will release of Avatar: The Way of Water. LEGO will be releasing more Avatar sets to coincide with this film in 2023 and majority of them will be based on the sequel. However, LEGO will still be focusing on some scenes from the first film too. 75571 Neytiri & Thanator vs AMP Suit Quaritch The smallest LEGO Avatar set will be based on the fight between Miles Quaritch and Neytiri. Quaritch sits in his AMP mech which is relatively small and built with mostly green parts. The AMP mech also holds an Uruk-Hai sword with an extended grip. Meanwhile, Neytiri's thanator has a body built from blue and dark blue bricks along with a new head mold. Theres also a small side build for some colourful vegetation on Pandora. After five LEGO Minecraft sets were released yesterday, the theme is not finished for this year as another new set will be available from 1st August 2022. This is the previously rumoured 21190 which is now called the Abandoned Village and will retail for $39.99. As the name suggests, the build will be based on our first brick-built abandoned LEGO Minecraft village continuing the recent theme of Minecraft Villager Minifigures in many sets. Five different sections of the village are shown which can each be combined together in many different ways just like 21188 The Llama Village. The village looks to be based in the taiga biome with a couple of pumpkin heads and a scarecrow. There's also a villager's house, a small blacksmithing area, a farm and an outside bed with a crafting table and furnace. All of these sections are covered in cobwebs. The Minifigures included are two exclusive zombie villagers, one being a farmer and one being a normal villager, and a brand new skin with pink hair. She also seems to have a brown torso and an iron sword. Also included is a brick built black cat. A small section of the surface is shown where bits of sand are falling to show the hidden cave. In the middle of the cave is a skeleton spawner along with three Skeleton Minifigures. As we reproted the other day, a brand new LEGO Marvel set has been revealed for a late summer 2022 release of 76223 Nano Gauntlet. The 18+ set continues the range of brick built Marvel objects with the $70 Nano Gauntlet being very similar to 76191 Infinity Gauntlet. However, as already mentioned, the Nano Gauntlet will retail for $10 more and include a more smooth red and grey look which will available from 1st August 2022. A new LEGO Marvel Hulkbuster has been rumoured for some time now but this post will gather all the rumoured information so far about the next Marvel D2C. With it being just two years since the most recent Hulkbuster retired, it's no surprise that another one is coming but the set number 76215 will most likely be coming on 1st August 2022. However, there's also a strong chance the set could come out even later this year. 76215 Hulkbuster Mk II will be one of the biggest LEGO Marvel sets of 2022 retailing for $299.99 and measuring around 50-60cm tall. This price and height means it'll most likely be double the size of the largest version so far of the one from 2018. However, this version will be based on the amour used in the Battle of Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War. Little more details have been revealed about the actual build of the armour itself but it'll be very similar to the 2018 version but much bigger at a price of $300. The style, even though it'll be from Infinity War, will still be very similar to the 2018 version too but with around 2500 pieces it should be very detailed. And along with the Hulkbuster will be the usual collector's badge and either a Tony Stark or Bruce Banner Minifigure. The latest addition to the LEGO Ideas theme has been revealed with the 40th set for the theme being based on a brick-built Globe. In particular, it's 21332 The Globe which was originally designed by Guillaume Roussel back in early 2020 meaning it's been quite a long wait for the official set. But either way, we'll all be able to get our hands on the set from 1st February 2022 for $199.99. The set itself measures 40 cm high, 30 cm wide and 26 cm deep making it an obvious and nicely coloured display model. Its roundness isn't often seen in LEGO form so makes a nice change and its brick-built stand displays it at more of an angle allowing more of our planet to be seen. The brown and gold stand even has a technic bit allowing the globe to spin round in any direction. One of the highlights of the set for many people is 2x4 glow in the dark round tiles with each of them having a print of a continent or ocean. These are spread throughout the globe in their respective positions on a real globe mixed in with the green, white and yellow colours of the land. There are even some prints to make a small compass, a print with 'The Earth' on and a small ship build. With the recent Star Wars Celebration event now coming to an end, LEGO were pretty busy with their Star Wars related reveals at the global event. The LEGO Star Wars news early reveals keep on coming with a brand new LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz being revealed. In particular, it's the long-rumoured 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader which is based on the upcoming Kenobi series. The brick-built version of Obi-Wan Kenobi will have his brick-built cloak similar to episode three whilst Darth Vader is a little bit bigger compared to the previous version from 2018 and now has red eyes.
