After the recent reveal of 71031 Marvel Studio Minifigures Series, it's inevitable that some older sets will soon retire. We now have rough information on LEGOs retirement plan for the LEGO Marvel theme with our information going all the way to 2023.
This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year and sales for the certain set either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Marvel sets that were released in 2019 or 2020 will definitely have retired at the end of 2023.
Any big D2C sets usually last quite a few years and always last longer than the smaller more common sets. We'd recommend getting any D2C's as soon as possible as these will quickly increase in price and go for a hefty amount of money in a few years.
