After the surprise reveal of the last LEGO Super Mario Summer 2022 set, we've now had the next LEGO Super Mario D2C officially revealed. This is 71411 The Mighty Bowser which will retail for $269.99 with a total of 2807 pieces. These pieces predominantly make up a giant brick-built Bowser which measures around 32cm high, 41cm wide and 28cm deep. Like nearly all LEGO Super Mario sets, the set is also compatible with the LEGO Mario Digfig.
The buildable Bowser itself is made of a range of different pieces mainly from vehicles and spaceships, but also new pieces like the spikes on his large green shell. Underneath the detailed shell is a button which can be used to control his head and neck movement. His mouth can open and close and his arms, hands, legs and tail can all move like a puppet. Once you open his mouth, you can also launch a fireball to knock down Mario.
The Mighty Bowser also comes with a stage to help make it the most expensive LEGO Super Mario set yet. The stage has two towers which can be knocked down by Bowser and rebuilt again. The rest of the grey stage includes a red carpet, fire, a hidden POW block and an action tile once again including playability with LEGO Mario. All of this will launch on 1st October 2022 but all three LEGO Super Mario Start Courses are available now.
