LEGO Monkie Kid 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary Officially Revealed | January 2024

In 2024 it'll be five years since the introduction of the LEGO Monkie Kid theme and LEGO will be celebrating this with a brand new wave of sets. One of these include 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary which has been officially revealed today at the Chinese International Import Expo. The $189.99 with 2,330 pieces will be available starting from 1st January 2024 along with four more rumoured LEGO Monkie Kid sets.

80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary will be the biggest set of the wave that releases on 1st January 2024 and replicates the giant Monkie Kid City. The city most recently appeared in the Monkie Kid TV show which also celebrates five years in 2024. The brick-built city is another compact yet colourful build from the theme with cool additions such as a Ferris wheel and working elevator also included.

Other parts of the city include a bunch of shops, a tree, a couple of Chinese culture-inspired stalls and some nostalgic LEGO references. These include the elevator being Classic Space themed and the LEGO Wooden Duck sitting at the top of the city. But the giant $190 set isn't finished there as a total of 16 Minifigures are included including Mei, Monkie Kid, Monkey King, Sandy, Spider Queen, White Bone Demon, Mr. Tang and more.
