A brand new year is just a week away and with that plenty of new sets will be releasing from a range of different LEGO themes. Amongst these themes is the LEGO Icons brand which has continued to produce theneominal sets throughout the last few years and seems to be continuing with that with a brand new subtheme for 2024. The new 18+ subtheme, similar to the Botanical Collection subtheme with plants, will focus purely on brick models of a collection of different animals. The subtheme will be named 'Fauna' which refers to all of the animal life present in a particular region or time. So we can expect to see animals of a particle region, habitat or geological period to be appearing in LEGO form over the next few years and throughout 2024. One of the first of these, after the LEGO Art set of 31211 Macaw Parrots, will be 10331 Kingfisher which is available from the 1st of February 2024. The Kingfisher bird will retail for $49.99 with 834 pieces indicating that little, intricate pieces will be used to create the specific details of the brightly coloured bird. Those bright colours of an orange underbelly and blue feathers will be translated into LEGO form along with its long beak. Other features of the $50 set include a very detailed display stand for it to be sat/posed on. The stand will be plain black but includes a pond with some reeds. The brick built Kingfigher then sits on this stand as if its flying out of the water beneath it. The wings can be read open and a brick built fish can also be placed in its mouth as if its just caught its LEGO breakfast. 10331 Kingfisher Set Name - Kingfisher Set Number - 10331 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 834 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st February 2024

LEGO Star Wars brick built 18+ helmets seem to be no more and instead, the theme will be expanding further into the midi scale after this year's 75356 Super Star Destroyer Executor. In particular, these midi-scale LEGO Star Wars sets releasing on 1st March 2024 will be concentrating on popular and iconic LEGO Star Wars starships just like the Tantive IV. And unsurprisingly the Tantive IV will be one of these midi-scale starships releasing next year in 2024. In particular, it will be under the set number 75376 which will retail for $69.99 with 654 pieces. Just like May 2023's 75356 Super Star Destroyer Executor, the Tantive IV is unlikely to include any Minifigures and instead be placed on a black stand to match the 18+ boxing and branding of the set. Set Information Set Name - Tantive IV Set Number - 75376 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 654 Price - $69.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024

As you can see from the back of the box pictures, a total of four microscale LEGO NINJAGO City sets will be releasing throughout 2024. After the recent release of next years LEGO Modular Building of 10326 Natural History Museum, we now have our first look at the 18+ sets Gift With Purchase. Eagle eye viewers would have seen that in one of the lifestyle photos of 10326 Natural History Museum there's a small side build of a light blue, red and white food truck which includes two Minifigures. With no other small side builds in the image and the size of the build being similar to last year's LEGO Modular promo, we assume this is 2024's version. So the Gift With Purchase currently titled 'Food Truck' will come under the set number 40681 with a currently unknown piece count or threshold. However, 40681 Food Truck has obviously missed the release 10326 Natural History Museum after it became available on the 1st December. Instead, similar to last year, the LEGO Icons Modular Building Promo will be available at some point in January 2024. This will most likely span over a two week period and include all other LEGO Modular Buildings currently on sale. 40681 Food Truck GWP Set Name - Food Truck GWP Set Number - 40681 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - TBC Price - TBC GWP Release Date - January 2024
