  • LEGO Family 41838 Family Travel Memories + 41839 Message Board Rumoured For August 2024

2024 has and will continue to see many new LEGO themes and licenses including a brand new homegrown theme from the Danish toy company. Brick Clicker on YouTube reports that the previously rumoured 41838 Family Travel Memories and 41839 Message Board will be a part of a brand new LEGO theme. The theme is currently entitled Family and will obviously be based around family adventures, connections and love but in brick-built LEGO form. The first of these, 41838 Family Travel Memories, we've already covered here at Bricks Up but further information has now been released. For $149.99 with a total of 1,321 pieces, the Summer2024 model is a flat, 2D version of the earth. This points to the set being very similar to the LEGO Art model of 31203 World Map. However, 41838 is a lot smaller and includes more plates rather than individual 1x1 studs to recreate the world. Reports also claim that 41838 Family Travel Memories is the official LEGO set containing the winning model of the 2023 American LEGO Master show. C hristopher (DuckBricks) and Robert won the competition with the World Wonderliner build and it will feature in 41838 but in a much, much smaller microscale form. Other features of the 2024 model are unknown so expect literally anything from this mysterious new LEGO theme. But the LEGO Family theme isnt done just yet as 41839 Message Board will release alongside 41838 on the 1st of August 2024. This will be the smaller of the two sets retailing for $109.99 with a currently unknown piece count. Current rumours suggests this set to be similar to LEGO DOTS message boards but with brick built letters that can be hung up and displayed. 41838 Family Travel Memories Set Name - Family Travel Memories Set Number - 41838 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 1,321 Price  - $149.99 / €149.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 41839 Message Board Set Name - Message Board Set Number - 41839 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - TBC Price  - $109.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 Both 41838 Family Travel Memories and 41839 Message Board release on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Icons 10368 Chrysanthemum + 10369 Plum Blossom Leaked Online For August 2024

Many Summer 2024 leaks are continuing to show up online with us now having our first pictures of the brand LEGO Botanical Collection sets. 10328 Bouquet of Roses and 10329 Tiny Plants have been available for a few months now for the LEGO Icons theme but it won't be long until both 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom also hit shelves. We now have leaked images of both 18+ models which we'll cover in today's articles. Both of the LEGO Icons Botanical Collection sets of 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom will retail for $29.99. 10369 is slightly bigger with 327 pieces compared to 10368 which contains 278. At that $30 price point, once both sets are released on the 1st of August 2024, they'll become the smallest LEGO Botanical Collection sets yet as LEGO continue to make this line of sets affordable yet still extremely detailed. Chrysanthemum plants are native to East Asia and northeastern Europe and will very soon be in brick-built form. The plant sits in a sand green pot with a golden border, which in turn is placed on a brown base. A lot of LEGO Technic parts are used to make the dark green stem of the plant which leads to four different-sized Chrysanthemum plants. These are mainly orange and include banana pieces in new colours of reddish-orange and bright light orange. The Plum Blossom is a Chinese tree species which will be making its debut in brick-built LEGO form very soon. Just like 10368, the Plum Blossom comes in a small brick-built pot, this time a lovely sand blue colour and a slightly different shape. The blossom tree contains thin brown branches which lead to some beautiful flowers coloured red, pink and yellow. A couple of the flowers aren't fully formed, showcasing the cycle of mother nature. 10368 Chrysanthemum Set Name - Chrysanthemum Set Number - 10368 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 278 Price - $29.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 10369 Plum Blossom Set Name - Plum Blossom Set Number - 10369 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 327 Price - $29.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom release on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Star Wars 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up Leaked Online For August 2024

We already have our first images of 75389 The Dark Falcon and now our second of three Rebuild the Galaxy sets have leaked online. In particular, this is 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up which will retail for $109.99 / €109.99 / £TBC with a total of 1,058 pieces included. As the name suggests, we are getting two iconic starships from the LEGO Star Wars franchise in just one set of an X-Wing and a TIE Fighter. The X-Wing and TIE Fighter are similar to previous builds of the same starships. These are scalable with each other and a pretty decent size with the most iconic elements of each ship being included along with a cockpit for their corresponding pilots. The most exciting part of the set is that the X-Wing and TIE Fighter can be combined together by taking the wings off one ship and combining it with the body of the other. 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up isn't complete for that $110 price tag without a selection of five Minifigures. These include Sig Greebling, Yesi Scala, a Rebel Pilot, a TIE Pilot and a red and yellow astromech droid called L3-GO . Plenty of accessories are also included for all of these minifigures and they can easily be combined with the other two LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy sets to recreate your favourite scenes from the show. 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up Set Name - TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up Set Number - 75393 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,058 Price - $109.99 / €109.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75393 in a couple of months time? Which is your favourite ship out of the iconic two? And will you be watching the upcoming Disney+ LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy series? • LEGO Star Wars 75389 The Dark Falcon Leaked Online For August 2024

The August 2024 wave of LEGO Star Wars sets is going to be crazy with the upcoming Rebuild the Galaxy show resulting in a range of random and unexpected sets for the licensed theme. Amongst these is probably the biggest 'what if...' LEGO Star Wars set of 75389 The Dark Falcon. The 10+ model will be available for $179.99 with a total of 1,578 pieces included. Similar to two more models releasing on the 1st of August 2024, it will be based on the upcoming four-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. You can already see from the leaked images that the box art includes the Disney+ series' logo and an interesting mix of colours along the side of the set. The most exciting part of the set has to be its Minifigure lineup which is just as weird and as wacky as the set name and idea. Six exclusive Minifigures are included of Jedi Vader in a white suit, Beach Luke, Darth Jar Jar, Darth Rey, Bounty Hunter C-3PO and Darth Dev. All include new torso and leg printing along with a range of accessories which we wouldn't associate with their characters. For example, Darth Jar Jar is dressed in black with a red lightsaber as an accessory. The build itself is similar to previous LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcons but this time in a much darker colour scheme. Most of the build is black and dark grey along with some cool red tinted windows. The interior of the Falcon has some space for play too with a cockpit and a prison cell included along with plenty of landing gear and weapons included for the evil emperor Darth Jar Jar Binks. 75389 The Dark Falcon Set Name - The Dark Falcon Set Number - 75389 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,578 Price - $179.99 / €179.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 75389 The Dark Falcon releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Technic 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar Rumoured For August 2024

After April's 42196 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica Orange, a second colour swap of an existing set will be taking place this Summer for the LEGO Technic theme. This time we'll be having a colour swap of the already-revealed 42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar. The 10+ LEGO Technic model will release on the 1st of August 2024 alongside a white version of the hypercar retailing for the exact same price of $49.99. 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar will have the exact same build and therefore features as 42173 but in a mainly white colour scheme. The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar will also have a different colour for the small lines on the hood and the side bodywork rather than 42173s orange. The seats and interior of the vehicle will also likely be a different colour but apart from that we're still getting the same Koenigsegg Jesko Hypercar in brick-built LEGO form. 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar Set Name - Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar Set Number - 42184 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 801 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Technic 42177 Mercedes G500 4x4 Rumoured For August 2024

2019 was the last time we saw a proper brick-built off-roader for the LEGO Technic theme but all of that is about to change on the 1st of August 2024. 42177 Mercedes G500 4x4 will fill the void left by 42110 Land Rover Defender retailing for $249.99 with a total of 2,891 pieces included. Once it releases in a few weeks time, it'll be the second biggest LEGO Technic set of the year, behind September's 42172 McLaren Supercar. The Mercedes G Class is will known in the automotive world and so it's no surprise to see LEGO recreating the car in brick-built form. The LEGO Technic designers will be basing the model off of 2017s Mercedes G500 4x4. Compared to the most recent version of the G500 in 2018, the 4x4 model has larger wheels and, thanks to its portal axles, it has particularly high ground clearance and off-road capability. Many concept models of the Mercedes G500 4x4 were produced in an ‘Electric Beam Yellow’ colour scheme. Hopefully, LEGO can include that colour scheme in 42177 along with its large tyres, slick black roof and other smaller details and features which will be recreated using LEGO Technic pieces. 42177 Mercedes G500 4x4 Set Name - Mercedes G500 4x4 Set Number - 42177 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,891 Price - $249.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 42177 Mercedes G500 4x4 releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 42177 in a few weeks time? What do you think of the Mercedes G Class? And what colour scheme are you hoping for the Mercedes G500 4x4 to be? • LEGO Technic 42174 Water Vehicle Rumoured For August 2024

The LEGO Technic theme releases an abundance of vehicles every single year but not many of them are tailored to be either on or underwater. Luckily, along with a range of supercars, trucks and another space-themed vehicle, a brand new water-themed vehicle is also releasing on the 1st of August 2024 under the set number 42174. The 18+ model will include a total of 962 pieces for a heavy retail price of $119.99. Current information is limited about 42174 apart from it being some form of 'water vehicle' such as a boat and other aquatic methods of transportation. Since the introduction of the LEGO Technic theme in 1977, there have been fewer than 20 boat-themed models so the LEGO Technic designers won't be short of ideas. Boats, hovercrafts and seaplanes have all appeared in this advanced brick-built form before and it wouldn't be a surprise to get them once again. LEGO may even include some other form of play feature in the Summer 2024 model such as the pullback line of sets, some form of LEGO control feature or a light setup due to fairly high price of $120 for only 962 pieces. 42174 *TBC Water Vehicle* Set Name - *TBC Water Vehicle* Set Number - 42174 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 962 Price - $119.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 42174 *TBC Water Vehicle* releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • 3 Interactive LEGO City Sets Rumoured For March 2025 | 60691, 60692 + 60693

It was only the other day we covered the first rumours for upcoming LEGO sets in 2025 but we now have further information thanks to a leak from LEGO themselves. Just a week ago the British version of LEGO shop@home revealed at least one revolutionary LEGO model which included brand-new interactive technology. The LEGO shop@home webpage is/was a platform where builders could sign up to test the brand-new LEGO technology. Reports claim a few families with children were also invited in preparation for a beta test very soon and a global launch on the 1st of March 2025. The Danish toy company commonly uses the British market for various beta tests including introducing different coloured versions of existing sets. These brand-new beta tests involve this new interactive, revolutionary technology of a special, interactive 'smart' LEGO brick. The smart LEGO brick which is currently its unofficial name is light blue along with some clear elements on its studed area. This allows the brick to respond directly to everything you do, such as the way you move it and how you build and rebuild sets with it. The element also reportedly interacts with special tile tags which have unique images on them, similar to the LEGO Super Mario theme. The smart LEGO brick is confirmed to be included in one of three LEGO City jungle-themed sets all releasing on the 1st of March 2025. In particular, this is the biggest of the three of 60691 Jungle Explorer Base Camp which includes a total of 1,019 pieces. This seems to be the main set of the interactive subtheme with the revolutionary brick interacting with the volcano, the three Minifigures included in 60691 and the two jungle-themed vehicles. The other two sets are much smaller of 60692 The Lost Crocodile Temple and 60693 Survivor Island Seaplane. Both of these 2025 models won't include the smart LEGO brick but will be compatible with similar features involving the Minifigures, vehicles and other brick-built scenery included in the 7+ LEGO City models. Across the three 2025 sets, a total of five Minifigures are included: Annie Quest, Max Danger, Doc, Trudy Skovry and Miles Waei. 60691 Jungle Explorer Base Camp Set Name - Jungle Explorer Base Camp Set Number - 60691 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 1,019 Price - TBC Release Date - 1st March 2025 60692 The Lost Crocodile Temple Set Name - The Lost Crocodile Temple Set Number - 60692 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 294 Price - TBC Release Date - 1st March 2025 60693 Survivor Island Seaplane Set Name - Survivor Island Seaplane Set Number - 60693 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 287 Price - TBC Release Date - 1st March 2025 The smart LEGO brick and these three interactive LEGO City Jungle sets all reportedly release on the 1st of March 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing any of these LEGO City models in 2025? What do you think of interactive elements in LEGO sets? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Miscellaneous 41838 Family Travel Memories Rumoured For August 2024

Every year a range of wild and wacky LEGO sets release and 2024 has been and will be no different. This is because a new mysterious set has been floating around the rumour mill of the LEGO Miscellaneous model of 41838 Family Travel Memories. The supposed Summer 2024 set will retail for $149.99 / €149.99 / £TBC with a total of 1,321 pieces once it releases on the 1st of August 2024. Apart from these details we've just outlined, everything else is guesswork. Usually, the LEGO Miscellaneous range of sets features smaller, random sets that don't fit into a specific theme but still deserve a place on the shelves. Furthermore, the theme usually produces much smaller, cheaper sets with a surprisingly higher-priced set of 40719 Traditional Chess Set being the most recent release for the theme. Therefore, the $150 model of 41838 Family Travel Memories could be absolutely anything. The name hints at a family-oriented set, focusing on adventures across the globe and the many happy memories made along the way. This suggests something similar to the LEGO Ideas model of 21346 Family Tree which allowed plenty of customization and personalisation for the whole family. But would it make sense for both sets to be on the market? So could this mysterious set belong to a brand new theme? We've already seen the likes of LEGO Animal Crossing and LEGO Despicable Me 4 release in 2024 with the likes of Fortnite and Wicked coming in just a few months time. Another brand-new theme, licensed or homegrown, would make for an incredible 2024 but this still seems unlikely. Maybe it's just some one-off set with a one-off license? 41838 Family Travel Memories Set Name - Family Travel Memories Set Number - 41838 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 1,321 Price  - $149.99 / €149.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st August 2024 The mysteries of 41838 Family Travel Memories will all be unravelled on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 41838 in over a months time? What could this mysterious set be? Do you agree with our theories or do you have your own? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Ideas 21350 Jaws Rumoured For August 2024

Jaws is classic cinema and on the 3rd of August 2024, it is sure to become a classic LEGO set for the Ideas theme. 21350 Jaws will become the sixth LEGO Ideas set of 2024 and the second most expensive with a retail price of $159.99 / €159.99 / £139.99 for a total of 1,497 pieces. The 18+ model will be the first based on the 1975 movie directed by Steven Spielberg and the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley but many more brick-built recreations may come in the future. The original submission, simply entitled 'Jaws', was created by LEGO Ideas user Driving Faces and was officially approved just over a year ago. Since then the LEGO designers have been hard at work creating the perfect set based on the 1970s Jaws movie. Just like the original submission, three Minifigures are expected to be included of Martin Brody, Matt Hooper and Quint. These will be exclusive and likely extremely detailed and accurate to their movie counterparts. The main build of the 18+ set will be an accurate representation of the shark-hunting vessel named the ORCA. This boat will be mainly coloured red, white and black and includes a detailed interior with lots of sharking/fishing equipment as well as those famous yellow barrels. And of course, the set isn't complete without Bruce the Shark which the LEGO designers will likely have spent a long time designing and accurately recreating. 21350 Jaws Set Name - Jaws Set Number - 21350 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,497 Price - $159.99 / €159.99 / £139.99 Release Date - 3rd August 2024 21350 Jaws releases on the 3rd of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO DC 40748 Batman 8in1 BrickHeadz Officially Revealed | July 2024

Just over a week ago, we got official images of a brand new LEGO Superheroes BrickHeadz and now LEGO has unveiled a second. Not only will 40669 Iron Man Mk5 BrickHeadz release on the 1st of July 2024 but so will the LEGO DC BrickHeadz of 40748 Batman 8in1 BrickHeadz. The 2024 model which has been officially revealed today includes a total of 325 pieces retailing for $19.99. As you can guess from the set name, this isn't just any old LEGO BrickHeadz as a total of eight different figures can be built using the 325 pieces included in 40748.
