  • LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz 40728 Brite Bomber GWP Officially Revealed | 1st October 2024

In a few days time, we see the start of a brand new month and the debut of three brand new LEGO themes: LEGO Fortnite, Wednesday and Wicked. The former of these is another gaming franchise to add to LEGO's ever-expanding portfolio and to celebrate the release of the theme and four new LEGO Fortnite sets, a LEGO Fortnite Gift With Purchase will also be available from the 1st of October 2024. • LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash Officially Revealed | January 2025

Just a couple of days ago we brought to you the latest rumours regarding LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog's 2025 lineup and now LEGO have officially revealed two out of the three sets launching on the 1st of January 2025. The latest Sonic Central event brought a whole host of announcements and reveals including those two brick-built sets of both 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash and 77003 Super Shadow vs. Biolizard. In this article, we'll be diving into the former of these models, 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash. The smallest set of this upcoming Winter wave includes a total of 177 pieces for a retail price of $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99. Only a single Minifigure of Sonic himself is included but he includes a new, more angry look expression on his moulded headpiece. Two brick-built enemies of a ’flying’ G.U.N. Beetle robot drone and a posable G.U.N. Hunter robot figure. The set name may include the word campfire but the actual campfire build is unsurprisingly not very large considering only 177 pieces are included in 77001. The small campfire section includes a small log fire, a single red seat, some greenery and the small turtle known as Tockey in the Sonic The Hedgehog universe. A speed sphere launcher and a speed sphere are also included along with 3 gold rings for Sonic in the speed sphere to hit and collect. 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash Set Name - Sonic's Campfire Clash Set Number - 77001 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 177 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? The latest Sonic Central event brought a whole host of announcements and reveals including those two brick-built sets of both 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash and 77003 Super Shadow vs. Biolizard. • LEGO Christmas Set 40746 Santa's Delivery Truck Officially Revealed | October 2024

After the reveal of 10339 Winter Village: Santa's Post Office earlier today, we now have another LEGO Christmas set officially revealed and it's the perfect companion to the 18+ LEGO Icons model. In particular, this is 40746 Santa's Delivery Truck which release in less than a weeks time on the 1st of October 2024. The 2024 model will retail for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 with a total of 224 pieces included. As the name suggests, along with a brick-built post office, this winter, we will also see the release of a brick-built delivery truck to help deliver the many Christmas letters and presents. The delivery truck is a mix of festive colours of green, red and tan. The driver's seat is open allowing plenty of room for our singular elf Minifigure to be included. The inside of the delivery truck can be opened up allowing access to a smaller interior which includes prints or stickers for its smaller details. Plenty of printed letters and brick-built presents are also included which can be placed in the rear of the truck. A simplistic Christmas tree build is also included which can be placed on top of Santa's Delivery Truck. 40746 Santa's Delivery Truck Set Name - Santa's Delivery Truck Set Number - 40746 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 224 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 40746 Santa's Delivery Truck releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Icons 10339 Winter Village: Santa's Post Office Officially Revealed | October 2024

It's just over 90 days until Christmas Day but already LEGO has officially revealed one of the most festive and anticipated sets of the year - 2024s LEGO Winter Village set. The yearly Winter Village set has been going on for many years now and always promises to be the biggest and best LEGO set for the festive season. And 2024 is no different with 10339 Winter Village: Santa's Post Office releasing on the 4th of October 2024 for $99 .99 / €99.99 / £89.99 with a total of 1,440 pieces. 2023 saw the release of 10325 Alpine Lodge as its Winter Village set which also became one of the biggest Winter Village sets ever in terms of piece count. 10339 is slightly smaller at 1,440 pieces but continues to be at a very reasonable price of only $100. Another tradition for many LEGO Winter Village sets is for a festive building or vehicle to take centre stage in the 18+ model - this year it's a brick-built post office based in the North Pole for Santa. The 18+ post office is basically composed of three parts: one main part in the centre of the building and two smaller parts on each side. All of the post office building is fully covered by a roof that contains a thin, soft layer of brick-filled snow. The main colour of Santa's post office is medium nougat with a couple of different shades of blue also included to compliment the overall mode. The interior includes plenty of fun details and smaller builds including a small letter-sorting machine. The post office may be the main but it isn't the only build of the October 2024 set for $100. Also included is a winter-themed hot air balloon which includes a red base and a gold and dark green balloon. Five Minifigures are also included, including Santa Claus, three Elves, and a pilot elf for the hot air balloon. The overall 18+ model measures over 21 cm (8 inches) high, 28 cm (11 inches) wide and 10 cm (4 inches) deep once it hits shelves on the 4th of October 2024. 10339 Winter Village: Santa's Post Office Set Name - Winter Village: Santa's Post Office Set Number - 10339 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,440 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 4th October 2024 10339 Winter Village: Santa's Post Office releases on the 4th of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10339 in just over a weeks time? What other LEGO Winter Village sets do you have and want to get? Should LEGO make more Post Offices in other themes such as LEGO City and LEGO Friends? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Monkie Kid Rumoured January 2025 Sets | 80065 + 80066

2025 will mark LEGO Monkie Kid's sixth year in production and on our shelves and yet the unlicensed theme, based on a lot of Chinese mythology and fantasy, continues to remain strong in LEGO's large portfolio. With that said, however, only two sets will be releasing on the 1st of January 2025 for the theme making it the smallest LEGO Monkie Kid wave yet. These two sets are 80065 Erlang's Celestial Mech and 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin. Even with these two sets being the only models of the January 2025 wave, they make up a wave that will cost $180 in total. 80065 with its 807 pieces will cost $79.99 and 80066 will cost $99.99, suggesting a noticeable shift in LEGO Monkie Kid's lineup in 2025 with much cheaper sets presumably coming in its Summer wave of models. 80065 Erlang's Celestial Mech Similar to other unlicensed LEGO themes, such as DREAMZzz and NINJAGO, LEGO Monkie Kid loves its mechs and the same can be said here with 80065 Erlang's Celestial Mech. The name suggests that the $79.99 set is a towering Celestial Mech based on the character of Erlang Shen in Chinese mythology. In fact, Erlang has already appeared as a Minifigure in the LEGO Monkie Kid theme before and will almost definitely appear again along with possibly three more characters. Set Name - Erlang's Celestial Mech Set Number - 80065 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - 807 Price - $79.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin is the larger of the two sets but only in the retail price as it costs $99.99 for only 791 pieces. The build for the legendary mythical creature of the Qilin will be the star of this set. Since the Qilin is often depicted as a dragon-deer hybrid with scales, a lion-like head, and antlers, the build will likely have a mixture of curved, organic shapes and rigid armour-like details. A total of five Minifigures will also be included for that $100. Set Name - Mythical Creature Qilin Set Number - 80066 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - 791 Price - $99.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 Both of these LEGO Monkie Kid sets release on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing either 80065 or 80066 in a few months time? Which set are you looking forward to most? What's been your favourite set from the LEGO Monkie Kid theme so far since its introduction five years ago? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Halloween Set 40697 Halloween Pumpkin GWP Rumoured For 1st October 2024

Tomorrow we'll see the release of a brand-new Halloween set of 40721 Halloween Barn but a month later we'll also get the release of a brand-new spooky Gift With Purchase. In particular, this GWP is 40697 Halloween Pumpkin which includes 254 pieces for a currently unknown threshold. The LEGO Creator branded GWP launches on the 1st of October 2024 and will most likely last for around two weeks in stores and online. For many brick builders, 40697 Halloween Pumpkin will seem like many LEGO Halloween GWPs from previous years but in fact, 40697 reportedly includes a light brick - a highly valued piece in any LEGO set but particularly a promotional item such as this one. The light brick will be included inside the brick-built orange pumpkin which has to be one of the most detailed and beautifully built LEGO pumpkins to date. The orange pumpkin complete with spooky and sisnter eyes, mouth and nose sits on a patch of green grass. The grass isn't very detailed and is mainly made up of a couple of small plates. However, to the model's left sits some autumnal-coloured leaves alongside a simple yet terrifying brick-built white ghost. He, like the pumpkin, includes a sinister-looking face even though it's created using only a couple of simple pieces. 40697 Halloween Pumpkin GWP Set Name - Halloween Pumpkin GWP Set Number - 40697 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 254 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 1st October 2024 40697 Halloween Pumpkin GWP releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be picking up this seasonal promotional item in a months time? Or will you wait and see how high the threshold is for 40697? What other LEGO Halloween sets will you be purchasing for the spooky season? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Marvel Spidey and His Amazing Friends Rumoured January 2025 Sets | 11198, 11199 + 11200

Since 2022 we've seen the annual release of some exciting, unique and play-heavy 4+ LEGO Marvel sets based on the popular Disney Junior series Spidey and His Amazing Friends. This tradition will continue into 2025 as three brand new sets will be launching on the 1st of January 2025. All three will be based on the third season of the show which launched earlier this year whilst it has also been confirmed that a fourth season has been renewed so expect plenty more LEGO Spidey and His Amazing Friends sets in the future. The third season did a crazy mash-up between dinosaurs and superheroes and now LEGO will be recreating this fun into brick-built LEGO form. 11198 Spin and Electro's Dino Racers Our first set is unsurprisingly also the cheapest of the wave with 11198 Spin and Electro's Dino Racers retailing for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99. Its 124 pieces will be used to recreate some small Minifigure scale racing cars. These, like the rest of this wave, will be dinosaur-themed and include the Minifigures Spin (Miles Morales) and Electro with their respective Dino Racers. Set Name - Spin and Electro's Dino Racers Set Number - 11198 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 124 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 11199 Spidey's Team Rescue Mission in the Dino Truck Another vehicle, somewhat similar to the large truck in 10791 Mobile Headquarters, is included in 11199 Spidey's Team Rescue Mission in the Dino Truck. This time its a dinosuar themed Spider-Man truck which will most likely take on the shape of a dinosaur but with wheels and a cockpit for Spider-Man to dirve the truck. He will be included as a Minifigure along with at least one, possible two, more characters. Set Name - Spidey's Team Rescue Mission in the Dino Truck Set Number - 11199 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 136 Price - $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 11200 Treehouse Showdown: Spidey-Rex VS Goblin-Raptor Last but not least we have 11200 Treehouse Showdown: Spidey-Rex VS Globin-Raptor which retails for $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99. Compared to the other two models, its not got many more pieces at 143 but retails for a lot more. This suggests we may be getting a lot of large elements or moulds to create the Spidey-Rex and Goblin-Raptor dinosaurs. These two might creatures will be battling it out in front of some sort of spider-man themed treehouse build. Set Name - Treehouse Showdown: Spidey-Rex VS Goblin-Raptor Set Number - 11200 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 143 Price - $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 All three of these LEGO Marvel Spidey and His Amazing Friends sets will be launching on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing any of these sets in a few months time? What do you think of these Spidey and His Amazing Friends 4+ models? Are you a fan of the Disney Junior show? • LEGO Icons 10350 2025 Modular Building Rumoured For December 2024

The rumours for LEGOs 2025 lineup are ramping up as lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram has given us our first details of the yearly LEGO Modular Building. Set number 10350 under the 18+ LEGO Icons theme will be the brand new Modular Building which will include 3,266 pieces for a retail price of $ 229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99 . And just like last year's Modular Building, we expect 10350 to also be released a month before the start of 2025 on the 1st of December 2024. 10326 Natural History was this year's LEGO Modular Building which, once it was released on the 1st of December 2023, became the biggest LEGO Modular Building yet. The 18+ model became the subthemes flagship set and has seemingly started a permanent move for Modular Buildings releasing in December rather than January - a smart move from LEGO to introduce a pre-Christmas launch window. 2025's LEGO Modular Building will be nowhere near as big as 10326 with over 800 pieces yet for a brick building that's expected to cover just one baseplate rather than two. This is also suggested by a much lower price than the beautifully designed Natural History building as 10350 will retail for $230 - the same price as our last 32 x 32 baseplate LEGO Modular Building of 10312 Jazz Club. The identity of 2025s LEGO Icons Modular Building is currently a complete mystery. However, if we're sticking with the usual pattern then we do expect 10350 to be a brand-new corner building for the subtheme after 2022s 10297 Boutique Hotel. That set included exactly 200 pieces less, suggesting a very detailed and full-on build for 10350 which we're likely to learn more information about within the next few weeks and months before that 1st of December 2024 release. 10350 *LEGO Icons 2025 Modular Building* Set Name - *LEGO Icons 2025 Modular Building* Set Number - 10350 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,266 Price - $ 229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99 Release Date - 1st December 2024 10350 2025 Modular Building releases on the 1st of December 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10350 in a couple of months time? What do you hope the brand new LEGO Modular Building is? What other Modular Buildings do you own? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Announces New Partnership With Formula 1 for Multiple Sets in 2025 and Beyond

Two of the world's most recognised brands, LEGO and Formula 1, have announced a brand new multiyear partnership starting next year. Thanks to YouTuber Brick Clicker, it's already been rumoured that 2025 will be the year of LEGO and F1, just like this year has been the year of LEGO and Space. Today's press release has confirmed this as LEGO and F1 will release "an exciting new product range that will feature the F1 teams, as well as engaging content for fans and families across LEGO Group digital platforms and a strong presence at Formula 1 events, with fun fan zone activations throughout the season." The Danish toy maker has already released several F1-based sets throughout its over 90-year history. 2024 alone saw plenty of racing-themed models in themes such as Speed Champions, Technic, and Icons. But this new partnership is directly involved with Formula 1 itself, meaning we will be getting sets based on all 10 teams with the official Formula branding and licenses. The Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, Emily Prazer, said: "The LEGO brick has ignited a spark of creativity and passion for building in millions of children and adults around the globe. “Through this partnership, fans will be able to recreate and reimagine the world of Formula 1, brick by brick, delving deeper into the intricacies of the mechanics and technology behind the sport through play. “We look forward to bringing the drama and excitement of Formula 1 to the LEGO Group’s passionate network of builders and giving our fans another means to enjoy the sport with their friends and family." Meanwhile, Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of The LEGO Group, added: "At the LEGO Group, we have a proud history of having recreated many F1 cars in LEGO brick form in the past, and we believe this new partnership, through LEGO play and building, will help bring the spectacle of this sport even closer to all fans. “It will enable them to celebrate their passion of the sport in more immersive and exciting ways and will see the power of LEGO creativity and imagination further enhance the thrill of F1. “We look forward to unveiling all that this exciting partnership has to offer to both lifelong and new Formula 1 and LEGO brand fans alike, at home and on track." Within the official press release, we also got confirmation of one of the many LEGO themes that will see Formula 1-based sets in 2025: LEGO Duplo. It may not be a theme that resonates with many of our readers but it doesn't demonstrate that both LEGO and F1 are committed to releasing sets and content to all ages, both young and old. The more interactive elements at races throughout the 2025 season will also ensure that LEGO remains ever-present globally. The information we currently have, however, suggests that LEGO Duplo is one of many themes racing into 2025 with F1-themed models. Speed Champions will obviously includes many Formula 1 sets, possibly covering all of the 10 teams in Minifigures scale. The more advanced sets, aimed for an older audience, will be covered in both LEGO Technic and LEGO Icons - again similar to this year but at a much wider scale. As we've already reported here at Bricks Up, LEGO City will also get some Formula 1 branded sets and so too may LEGO Friends if both of the brands want to continue to get more females into racing. We could also see a brick-built Formula 1 car in a LEGO Creator 3in1 set and a beautiful LEGO Art model, recreating iconic moments across Formula 1s rich history. And finally, we do also expect a whole LEGO Minifigure series dedicated to Formula 1. This is rumoured to be released in May 2025, after 71048 Series 27 releases in a few months time on the 1st of January 2025. This set, like many other Formula 1 rumours and leaks, will be covered in separate articles here at Bricks Up. But what do you think of this brand-new partnership between Formula 1 and LEGO? Are you happy to see two global brands join together? What sets are you hoping for in 2025 and beyond based on Formula 1? What team are you looking forward to seeing in brick-built form the most? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

In particular, this LEGO Star Wars GWP is 40730 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber which includes a total of 145 pieces and will only be available with purchases of the third and final LEGO Star Wars D2C of 2024 of 75397. As the name suggests, 40730 is a brick-built recreation of Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber very similar to a previous promotional item of 40483 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber that released in 2021 alongside 75313 AT-AT. Three years later and we're getting another version of Luke's lightsaber as a GWP which is instead based on the weapon first used from Return of the Jedi onwards and that we first see on the Sail Barge coincidentally. Unlike his first one which he lost during his lightsaber battle with Darth Vader, the one Luke yields in Return of the Jedi onwards is green rather than blue. However, in this brick-built LEGO form, the colours of the lightsaber aren't shown as LEGO has captured the actual sabre hilt and all its much smaller, specific details. Along with the actual lightsaber, 40730 also includes a black display stand and a small namplate with the whole lightsaber model measuring 26 cm long and 8 cm in diameter. 40730 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber GWP Set Name - Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber GWP Set Number - 40730 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 145 Price - GWP of 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge Release Date - 3rd October 2024 40730 Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber GWP releases alongside 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge on the 3rd of October 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Star Wars 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge Officially Revealed | October 2024

We've waited a long time but LEGO have finally pulled the covers and released one of the final LEGO Star Wars sets of the year and also one of the most anticipated. In particular, this is the theme's third and final 18+ D2C of 2024 of 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge. The October 2024 model retails for a total of $499.99 / €549.99 / £429.99 with 3,942 pieces and 11 Minifigures included in the model which will initially remain exclusive to LEGO. Those 11 Minifigures mainly explain the high $500 price as LEGO has reproduced many characters for the first time since 2013 - the release of the last brick-built LEGO Jabba's Sail Barge of 75020. But 2024's Sail Barge includes Jabba the Hutt, Bib Fortuna, Princess Leia in her Huttslayer outfit, Kithaba, Vizam, Woof, Max Reebo, R2-D2 with a brick-built tray accessory, C3PO, Salacious B. Crumb, and a Gamorrean guard. The 18+ set itself is based on Star Wars Return of the Jedi which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year and appears in LEGO form for the first time in over 10 years. The brick-built Sail Barge owned by Jabba the Hutt sits on the usual, but slightly elongated, UCS black stand and comes with a printed information plaque. The brick-built Star Wars vehicle measures over 25 cm high, 77 cm long and 25 cm wide. 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge with its 11 Minifigures and almost 4,000 pieces is Minifigure scale with plenty of display and play room for the 11 unique characters. In the sail barge, different compartments are able to open up allowing plenty of playability for this UCS set along with the deck and its sails which use a large orange fabric piece. This large fabric element and l arger elements being used for the side walls explain 75397's high price once it releases on the 3rd of October 2024. The interior itself being extremely packed and accessible will also take up a fair amount of that price. Having a base larger than 16 studs, the sail barge includes a total of five rooms inside. These include one at the stern of the barge which houses the exclusive Max Rebo, directly next to it is the main man himself Jabba's room, at the centre of the build is the kitchen, right next door is the guard's room and finally this is followed by a small room (the cockpit) where another exclusive Minifigure of Kithaba is located. 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge Set Name - Jabba's Sail Barge Set Number - 75397 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,942 Price - $499.99 / €499.99 / £429.99 Release Date - 3rd October 2024 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge releases on the 3rd of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75397 in just a couple of weeks time? Which of the 11 Minifigures are you looking forward to getting to the most? Is that $499.99 / €549.99 / £429.99 price tag a bit too high for the returning LEGO Star Wars Sail Barge? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Star Wars 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder Officially Revealed | October 2024

2024 has been a massive year for LEGO Star Wars as the theme has celebrated 25 years of existence with a range of exclusive anniversary sets. Across these sets a total of eight exclusive anniversary Minifigures have appeared including in one of the final models of the year for the licensed LEGO theme of 40755 Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder which has been officially revealed today. The 8+ set includes our eighth and final anniversary Minifigure of the QT-KT astrodroid once it releases on the 1st of October 2024. QT-KT was a member of the D-Squad during the Clone Wars and was originally created as a character/droid in memory of Katie Johnson to raise awareness of pediatric illness. The 'droid with the heart of gold' appears in 40755 in its mainly pink colouring along with a couple of finer details in white and grey. Along with QT-KT, six other Minifigures are included of three Stormtroopers and three Rebel Troopers respectively. Unsurprisingly, the Stormtroopers are associated with the Imperial Dropship and the Rebel Scout troopers with the speeder which are both included in the 383-piece build. For a long time, 40755 has been described as 'the 25th-anniversary set' and that's no surprise as the 2024 model basically combines two classic LEGO Star Wars sets which released back in 2008. These are 7667 Imperial Dropship and 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder. The two vehicles are in 40755 but a lot more detailed and updated with added blasters, stud shooters, thrusters, prints and much more. 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder Set Name - Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder Set Number - 40755 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 383 Price - $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 40755 Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think?
