After the recent release of a brand new LEGO Marvel D2C 76215 Black Panther, it's inevitable that some older sets will soon retire. We now have even more information about LEGO's retirement plan for the LEGO Marvel theme with our information going up to 2023 but as the year goes on and we go into 2023 we'll very soon have more information going up to 2024.
This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year like the rumoured D2C of 76210 Hulkbuster Mrk 2 and sales for the certain set either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Marvel sets that were released in 2020 will definitely have retired at the end of 2023.
Any LEGO Marvel D2C sets like 76178 Daily Bugle and the new Sanctum Sanctorum of 76218, usually last quite a few years and always last longer than the smaller more widely available sets. However, we'd recommend getting any retiring D2Cs as soon as possible as these will quickly increase in price and go for a hefty amount of money in a few years.
