That's right we finally have a brand new Spider-Man: No Way Home set as LEGO has finally officially revealed a LEGO Marvel set based on the film that release at the end of 2021. In particular, this is the final battle scene of the film which takes place on the Statue of Liberty which is why the name of the set is unsurprisingly Spider-Man Final Battle. The playset will retail for $99.99 with 900 pieces releasing on 1st August 2023.
And even though it's not an 18+ D2C set as we all hoped, but we're still getting a great selection of Minifigures. This includes all three versions of Spider-Man of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire), The Amazing Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland). Along with these iconic characters we also have Electro, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, Ned, MJ and Doc Ock.
The build itself, even though small still includes some of the main features of the battle. These include the head of the Statue of Liberty, the scaffolding surrounding it and many play features to recreate the epic battle scene. This includes a removable roof that reveals Sandman’s hand, a flip-open rear access to a portal and a soft web element to envelop Minifigures.
Overall, the set should be one of the best releasing this summer even if it's not retailing a $200 D2C like we all hoped. Instead, it will retail for $99.99 with only 900 pieces included but the nine Minifigures should make this well worth the money once its available on 1st August 2023. And hopefully, we'll get a couple more LEGO Marvel Spider-Man No Way Home sets over the next year and a bit...
