LEGO Harry Potter Collectable Wizard Portraits Officially Revealed For 2024

It's now less than two months to go until the next wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets featuring seven brand-new models. Six of the seven have been officially revealed for 1st March 2024 with the seventh and final one being the first of two D2Cs of 2024 for the LEGO theme.

Amongst the range of sets releasing for the LEGO Harry Potter theme in 2024 there's a brand new collectable 'gimmick'. Just like the Chocolate Frog Card tiles created to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the theme, Collectible Wizard Portraits are included in some of the seven sets releasing on 1st March 2024 and even more are expected to be included in the summer wave.

These Collectible Wizard Portraits printed on the Nexo Knights shield pieces are randomly included in LEGO Harry Potter sets. This means you could receive duplicates across multiple sets or bags if more than one is located in a singular LEGO Harry Potter set.

For the March 2024 wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets, heres how the Collectible Wizard Portraits are distributed:

• 1x in 76246 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse

• 2x in 76248 Hagrid's Hut: An Unexpected Visit

• 1x in 76430 Hogwarts Castle Owlery

This makes a total of four chances of collecting these Wizard Portraits across the first wave of LEGO Harry Potter in 2024.

But which one you'll get is obviously random and it could be any one of the 14 shown in the picture above. From left to right / top to bottom, here are the Wizards and Witches appearing on these Collectible Portraits:

Once again LEGO seem to enjoy putting small collectable items in generic sets but they do add a bit more value to an otherwise fairly unexciting wave of LEGO Harry Potter. These Collectable Wizard Portraits will be entirely random, starting in the March 2024 waves and continuing into the summer. It'll be interesting to see how LEGO continue to incorporate this throughout the year and possibly into 2025...
