The Disney 100 celebrations are anywhere near but done as we have new rumours about another LEGO Disney set releasing in just a couple of month's time. In particular, 43231 'Residence' has been rumoured online based on the upcoming Disney movie named Wish.
Wish is a brand new animated musical fantasy film created by Disney to coincide with the celebrations which have continued throughout 2023. The main character is a 17-year-old girl called Asha who senses a darkness that no one else does about the kingdom's ruler, King Magnifico. This eventually leads to her trying to make a plea to the stars and soon after an actual star from the sky named Star answers Asha's wish.
Together, Asha and Star must overcome the evils rising in Rosas and fight for a better future and we imagine that these two main characters and their adventure will be represented in LEGO form in 43231. We also expect the evil King Magnifico to be included but all these characters will be minidolls rather than Minifigures.
The film releases on the 22nd of November 2023 in America with the set releasing almost two months before on 1st October 2023. Because of this, we expect the set to be spoiler free and include just the main characters and a common scene from this film. This will be created in LEGO from using the 509 pieces included which will retail for $49.99.
