LEGO DC 76224 Batmobile: Batman vs The Joker Officially Revealed | August 2023

After the recent cancellation of 76221 Batmobile Flash Tracking things were looking bad again for the LEGO DC theme but there is hope. This is because another LEGO DC set has been officially revealed with it being a brand new LEGO DC Batmobile releasing in just a couple of months. In particular, it'll be under the set number 76224 and be a Batman 1989 version of the Batmobile entitled Batmobile: Batman vs The Joker.

The 1989 Batmobile has already appeared in LEGO form before most recently in 76139 1989 Batmobile. However, this was a 3000 pieces D2C LEGO DC set so this set of 76224 is something very different compared to that but still includes the iconic features of mainly black bodywork and fire at the rear The set will also include the 1989 versions of Batman and Joker making the $44.99 with 438 pieces a fair set for the LEGO DC theme.
