  • LEGO Star Wars 40917 The Darksaber GWP Rumoured For 1st May 2026

It's tradition that LEGO celebrate Star Wars Day in style, and 2026 is no different. The LEGO Group are releasing a bunch of sets on the 26th of April, followed by a brand new UCS model and a corresponding Gift With Purchase . We covered the UCS set of 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter the other day, but this article looks at the latest LEGO Star Wars promotional item, another popular model for intergalactic collectors. In particular, this is 40917 The Darksaber, which is expected to follow the recent trend of buildable lightsaber-style display models tied to major LEGO Star Wars releases. The 10+ model would be the fourth lightsaber-style GWP and arguably the most unique, recreating the Darksaber seen in The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars. The build will use a combination of black and grey/silver elements to replicate the sabre made of Beskar, along with its slit-shaped blade emitter. The actual Darksaber also includes an angular pommel and hand guard, which will likely be translated into brick-built form. With no rumoured piece count or threshold once 40917 is available from the 1st of May 2026, some fans are speculating whether or not this brick-built lightsaber will be slightly different from previous ones and include the blade itself. 40917 The Darksaber Set Name - The Darksaber Set Number - 40917 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Minifigures - 0 Availability - TBC Promo Dates - 1st May 2026 40917 The Darksaber is rumoured to release as a Gift With Purchase from the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? The Darksaber is one of the most iconic weapons in the Star Wars universe, so does this feel like the right choice for the fourth lightsaber-style GWP? How does it compare to previous buildable lightsabers in the range? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below! The 25th of October 2025 marks 16 years since the sheep was first revealed in Minecraft, and to mark the occasion, the LEGO Group have officially revealed the next wave of sets based on the blocky video game. In particular, a total of eight LEGO Minecraft sets have been presented, all releasing on the 1st of January 2026. Another eight models are also expected to be released throughout the rest of the new year, including two more in March. 21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure Our first set is the standard entry-level set with 21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure retailing for $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99. As the name suggests, the 79-piece model will recreate a very small section of the Taiga biome, covered with snow and including a distinctive spruce tree. The build may be small, but for the price, we get a lot of mobs: Steve is included as a LEGO Minifigure along with a Creeper, a fox and a baby bunny. Set Name - Steve's Taiga Adventure Set Number - 21583 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 79 Price - $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 21584 Nether & End Portal Journey 21584 is basically a two-in-one adventure, split between two dimensions. • LEGO Star Wars 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter Rumoured For May 2026

Thanks to the recent presentation of 75438 Yoda Bust and 75439 Darth Vader Bust , and the previous reveal of four The Mandalorian & Grogu inspired sets last month, we've seen images of every LEGO Star Wars May 2026 set bar one. This one, in particular, is the largest and most expensive of the seven releasing at the end of April/start of May. And it's our first LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Set of 2026, 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter. The latest Star Wars-branded 18+ model will retail for $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99 and includes a total of 1,809 pieces to recreate Din Djarin's modified N-1 Starfighter, which features prominently in the third season of The Mandalorian. Din's second major ship, after the original Razor Crest, has appeared in multiple forms, having already seen the starfighter as a playset ( 75325 ), a 4+ model ( 75410 ) and a Microfighter ( 75363 ). But on the 1st of May 2026, we'll see the biggest and most detailed iteration of the N-1 Starfighter yet, and it's perfect timing ahead of the blockbuster release of The Mandalorian & Grogu. Those two characters are not only the stars of the new film, but also the two LEGO Minifigures included in 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter. Grogu will use the new mould introduced for the character in the other May 2026 sets, while the Mandalorian himself will be decked out in beskar armour along with his Darksaber accessory. At a price tag of $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99, we can expect 75442 to be a mid-sized UCS model. This means it will be slightly more accessible than the likes of 75192 Millennium Falcon and 75313 AT-AT , for example. However, the 2026 set will still be just as detailed, acting as an incredible display piece, likely focusing on the Starfighers' long, slim shape that closely follows the on-screen version. Just like we see in the Mandalorian Disney+ series, we can expect a fairly narrow front section of the N-1 Starfighter to be recreated in brick-built LEGO form that tapers to an even thinner rear tail. The wings of the N-1 will be located right at the front, drastically expanding the width of the Starfighter. These sections will likely be some of the most detailed, as each wing includes a J-type engine of the agile craft, which in the Disney+ series are relatively exposed, giving away plenty of inner workings and details. Along with the relatively exposed engines, most of the yellow colouring of the original Naboo Starfighter has also been stripped from Mando's Starfighter. Therefore, we can expect the 1,809-piece build to lean heavily on metallic silver tones mixed with light grey and dark grey elements. Some yellow will still be found around the cockpit section, however, just like we see in the 2022 playscale version of 75325 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter . The cockpit section itself will be another important feature of the build, including both the actual cockpit section for Din Djarin, along with the smaller passenger space for Grogu. Both sections can be removed to access the usual details seen in the previous LEGO Star Wars cockpit builds. A few spring-loaded stud shooters, along with a cargo compartment, are also likely to feature in 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter once it releases on the 1st of May 2026. 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter Set Name - UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter Set Number - 75442 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,809 Minifigures - 2 (Din Djarin, Grogu) Price - $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99 Release Date - 1st May 2026 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter releases on the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? Will you be picking up the biggest and most detailed LEGO version of Din Djarin's iconic ship yet? With 1,809 pieces and a price tag of £199.99, it looks set to be a fantastic display piece for any Mandalorian fan, but is it on your wishlist? How does it compare to previous N-1 Starfighter sets like 75325 and 75410? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below! If you're as excited as we are about the first LEGO Star Wars UCS set of 2026, share this post with a fellow Mandalorian fan who needs to know about it! • LEGO ONE PIECE Rumoured August 2026 Sets

The launch of the second season of live-action Netflix series, a LEGO set reveal, and a LEGO Minifigure tease - the LEGO ONE PIECE line has had a busy month ahead of its second-ever wave of sets this Summer. In particular, it's rumoured that a further six sets will be released on the 1st of August 2026 alongside the already revealed 75647 Gum-Gum Fruit . These sets look to be targeting key story arcs covering both the first season of the popular Netflix series and possibly hinting at upcoming events in the second. Along with new locations, we'll also be getting new characters in LEGO form. One of these new characters has already been teased as a LEGO Minifigure the other week, as the LEGO Group took to social media to showcase LEGO Tony Tony Chopper. The Straw Hat Pirate seems to be the main focus of this Summer 2026 wave... 75641 Chopper & Dr Hiriluk Hideout The first set of the upcoming wave is also the smallest, as 75641 Chopper & Dr Hiriluk Hideout includes 271 pieces retailing for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. • LEGO 40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico GWP Officially Revealed | 10th April 2026

Following on from yesterday's rumour article , we now have official images of the latest GWP in the Restaurant of the World series. In particular, this is the second set of 2026 in the series, and we're heading to the Americas with 40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico . The 12+ model is available from the 10th to the 19th of April 2026 with any LEGO purchases over $180 / €180 / £160, just like 40906 Restaurants of the World: Japan . 40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico features 326 pieces, recreating a traditional taqueria, a type of restaurant known for serving tacos and commonly found across Mexico and global street food scenes. This brick-built taqueria literally includes a giant brick-built taco attached to its burgundy and brown roof. The taco is packed with brick-built ingredients of meat, beans and vegetables while also including a stickered 'taqueria' sign on its base. Much like 40906, this Mexican-inspired restaurant build uses an open-backed design, making it easy to view and access the interior. Inside, the space is split between a compact kitchen and a small customer seating area. The kitchen section includes a trompo, a key feature in authentic taco preparation, alongside LEGO tacos and drinks ready to be served. • First Images of LEGO Jurassic World Summer 2026 Sets

The LEGO Group are continuing its theme of drip-feeding us the LEGO Jurassic World theme's 2026 lineup through unofficial reveals via its social media pages. Following on from teases of both 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops , the Danish toy manufacturer showcased numerous LEGO Jurassic World summer 2026 sets via a game/quiz on its Instagram stories. Four LEGO Jurassic World -branded sets are expected to be released this summer, after the two previously mentioned 18+ models, on the 1st of August 2026. However, figures, builds, dinosaurs, locations and more were only showcased for three out of the four sets rumoured to be available in a few months. Either way, here's our first look at the dinosaur fun coming this summer... 77977 Baby Pteranodon The smallest set in this Summer wave, 77977 Baby Pteranodon, resolves around a group of young LEGO dinosaurs. These include a brand new mould for a Pteranodon, along with a blue Velociraptor and another small dinosaur. The social media images clearly show all three dinosaurs along with a simple red helicopter and a kind of dinosaur playground build. Owen Grady and Kayla Watts look to also be included as LEGO Minifigures in the 7+ set. We already have images of what looks to be the two main builds in the 115-piece set: a grey, red and tan coloured transport truck and a red quad bike. A small moulded T. rex can be seen chasing the quad bike, which includes a hot dog hanging from a stick. Set Name - Young T. rex Transport Truck Set Number - 77978 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 115 Minifigures - 2 (Sarah Harding, Nick Van Owen) Price - $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 Release Date - 1st August 2026 77982 Spinosaurus Escape In terms of piece count, 77982 Spinosaurus Escape is the largest LEGO Jurassic World set coming this summer, and it's based on Jurassic Park III. Unlike the previous two sets, 77982's 820 pieces include a brick-built dinosaur of a mainly red and grey Spinosaurs. This incredible Jurassic build is included alongside two LEGO Minifigures of Dr Alan Grant and Billy Brennan, equipped with a sand green motorbike. Set Name - Spinosaurus Escape Set Number - 77982 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 820 Minifigures - 2 (Dr Alan Grant, Billy Brennan) Price - $74.99 / €69.99 / £64.99 Release Date - 1st August 2026 77983 Mosasaurus Boat Attack Unfortunately, the last set on this list is the only model we've yet to see any images of. However, rumours have been swirling about what may be included in 77983 Mosasaurus Boat Attack, which retails for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 with 703 pieces. The 7+ model returns to a moulded dinosaur with the inclusion of a Mosasaurus alongside builders for a boat, a submarine and a helicopter. • LEGO Jurassic World 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Officially Revealed | June 2026

Just like London buses, you wait months for a LEGO Jurassic World 2026 set, and suddenly two come at once, as we have official pictures of the second Jurassic World-branded model of the year. In particular, this is 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops, another 18+ model which releases just a few weeks after 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler on the 1st of June 2026. 77985 is a follow-up to last year's extremely popular 76968 Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex, but obviously focusing on the literal, anatomical representation of a Triceratops skeleton. 2025's T. rex was constructed in an impressive 1:12 scale, and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops continues that scale, but is naturally smaller as a brick-built LEGO set, just like the real prehistoric creature was. This is reflected in a much smaller piece count and a lower price of 1,154 pieces retailing for $109.99 / €99.99 / £89.99. The adult-focused museum-style display piece is built primarily from tan elements to represent aged bone. The structure is anchored by a sturdy, internal spine connected to a ribcage utilising multiple curved slopes. The sturdy internal frame, similar in complexity to that of the T. rex, also includes the dinosaur's ribcage and vertebrae. The four legs of the creature are slightly thicker than those of 2025's Tyrannosaurus rex, while the tail tapers off with smaller, articulated segments. But the most prominent and detailed part of the build is the massive skull of the Triceratops, which features a large, fan-like bony frill. This is somewhat similar to the currently available 76969 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull, but with more of a heavy focus on the dinosaur's three distinct horns: two long ones above the eye sockets and a shorter one on the snout. Additionally, there is plenty of movement and posability here as builders can adjust the position of the head and open and close the mouth. The $110 model is then complete with an 18+ museum-like black display stand and a printed information plaque. The display stand is more unique than the classic black ones we see in the LEGO Icons theme, for example, as it includes a small environment section similar to what the actual Triceratops used to live in millions of years ago. A single LEGO Minifigure can also be found displayed here of the Chief Veterinarian of Jurassic Park, Gerry Harding, with exclusive face printing and a printed Jurassic Park cap. 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Set Name - Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Set Number - 77985 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,154 Minifigure - 1 (Gerry Harding) Price - $109.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 - Shop Now at LEGO.com Release Date - 1st June 2026 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? Will you be adding this prehistoric display piece to your collection? How does it compare to last year's T. rex, and are you excited to see the Gerry Harding Minifigure included? • LEGO Officially Teases 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops For June 2026

Another day and another piece of LEGO Jurassic World news, as the LEGO Group has once again officially teased/unofficially revealed another model for the licensed LEGO theme. In particular, this is 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops, which, after being teased in a teaser of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler , has been further revealed along with the first images of the 18+ models' box art. The tease itself has appeared on LEGO's official Instagram page and is somewhat more of an actual reveal, even though we're still awaiting official images of the 2026 model. The video recreates some archaeologists carefully brushing 1x1 LEGO studs representing dirt off of some brick-built bone structure. As more brown dirt is removed, we start to see a structure form, which becomes instantly reminiscent of the legendary Triceratops dinosaur. Releasing on the 1st of June 2026, 77985 is a follow-up to last year's extremely popular 76968 Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex , but obviously focusing on the literal, anatomical representation of a Triceratops skeleton seen in the cleverly designed social media clip. 2025's T. rex was constructed in an impressive 1:12 scale, and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops continues that scale, but is naturally smaller as a brick-built LEGO set, just like the real prehistoric creature was. This is reflected in a much smaller piece count and a lower price of 1,154 pieces retailing for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 but with still just as much accuracy and detail. Additionally, there is plenty of movement and posability here as builders can adjust the position of the head and open and close the mouth. The $100 model is then complete with an 18+ museum-like black display stand and a printed information plaque. The display stand is more unique than the classic black ones we see in the LEGO Icons theme, for example, as it includes a small environment section similar to what the actual Triceratops used to live in many, many years ago. A single LEGO Minifigure can also be found displayed here of the Chief Veterinarian of Jurassic Park, Gerry Harding, with exclusive face printing and a printed Jurassic Park cap. 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Set Name - Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Set Number - 77985 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,154 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? • LEGO Speed Champions January 2026 Sets Officially Revealed

The LEGO Speed Champions  theme kicked off the 2026 reveals all the way back in September, but now, amongst many other LEGO themes, we have official images of all six sets releasing on the 1st of January 2026. The three sets that we previously didn't have official presentations of are the three non-movie cars, which include 77253 Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, 77254 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale and 77257 McLaren W1. 77252 APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie The first entry on this list sees the LEGO Speed Champions  theme start 2026 in the exact same way it started 2025 - with a Formula 1-branded model. 77252, however, is also a movie-inspired car as it's based on the APXGP F1 team that is the spotlight of the popular F1 The Movie. LEGO interpretations of Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce are both included in the 10+ model, which retails for the standard Speed Champions price of $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99. Set Name - APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie Set Number - 77252 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 268 Price - $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77253 Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo 77253 brings the sleek and futuristic Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo to brick-built LEGO form. The real car combines a more modern, trendy design with classic Bugatti elements, such as the horseshoe-shaped grille and a powerful W16 engine. The LEGO version cleverly captures these elements in the standard eight-stud wide format, retailing for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99,  with 284 pieces included. Set Name - Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Set Number - 77253 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 284 Price - $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77254 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale The Ferrari SF90 Stradale combines hybrid power with track-oriented performance to create, what the Italian manufacturer is calling, "the most efficient aerodynamic performance of any Ferrari road car". Now this very special Sports Car is appearing in brick-built LEGO form on the 1st of January 2026 in the signature Ferrari red colour scheme and including a total of 339 pieces retailing for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99. The iconic racing character has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form before, particularly with 2011's 8484 Ultimate Build Lightning McQueen. That build was 10 studs wide, a lot less sleek in design and didn't get the proportions exactly right compared to this 270-piece 2026 version. Set Name - Lightning McQueen Set Number - 77255 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 270 Price - $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77256 Back to the Future: The DeLorean Another movie car, meanwhile, takes us for a ride through time with 77256 Back to the Future: The DeLorean. Just like 77255 Lightning McQueen, the DeLorean has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form, most recently as a display-worthy LEGO Icons  model of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine . In 2026, however, the DeLorean will be completely Minifigure scale, including exclusive versions of both Doc Brown and Marty McFly . Set Name - Back to the Future: The DeLorean Set Number - 77256 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 357 Price - $27.99 / €26.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77257 McLaren W1 Last but not least is another sleek, futuristic supercar from one of the world's most well-known manufacturers. 77257 McLaren W1 retails for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 with 287 pieces included and recreates some of the vehicle's most iconic and aggressive features, which makes it the fastest-accelerating, fastest-lapping, road-legal McLaren ever produced.
