  • Everything You Need to Know About LEGO Star Wars 75419 UCS Death Star | October 2025

The LEGO Star Wars theme has had a huge 2025, most notably with the release of two Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) sets in 75409 Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship and the 75417 AT-ST Walker . However, in October, the licensed theme will reach new heights, as 75419 UCS Death Star launches as not only the biggest LEGO Star Wars model ever, but also the most expensive LEGO set in history. Releasing on the 1st October of 2025, this monumental 18+ set will retail at a staggering $999.99 and include a total of 9,019 pieces, breaking multiple LEGO records in the process. Designed as a half-sphere cutaway diorama, the UCS Death Star includes brick-built interpretations of both the battle station’s imposing grey exterior and a fully detailed, Minifigure-packed interior showcasing scenes from across the Original Trilogy and Rogue One. With an unprecedented 38 Minifigures included, exclusive locations built into its interior, and a compatible TIE Fighter Gift With Purchase build, this UCS model promises to be the most definitive LEGO Death Star yet. In this article, we’ll break down everything you need to know about 75419, from its important details to its action-packed Minifigure lineup and upcoming Gift With Purchase . The Important Details As the latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series, 75419 UCS Death Star is set to be one of the largest and most ambitious LEGO Star Wars builds ever released. The 18+ branded model will recreate the Empire’s planet-destroying battle station at a scale far surpassing the previously dicussed play-focused versions seen in 2008 and 2016. With a total of 9,019 pieces, 75419 will be among the biggest LEGO models of all time. Not only will it be the biggest LEGO Star Wars set yet, but also the most expensive becoming the first $1,000 LEGO set once it releases on the 1st of October 2025. The set will initial remain exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO Shop@Home for at least the first few months of its release cycle with a livestream reveal taking place on Thursday the 4th of September. Previous LEGO Death Star Sets The Death Star has long been a favourite subject for LEGO designers and fans alike, appearing in several forms over the last 20 years. The most iconic have been 2008's 10188 Death Star and 75159 Death Star which was released just under a decade ago in 2016. Both models were large playsets with around 4,000 pieces and over 20 new and returning Minifigures. However, 75419 represents a major step up. With over double the piece count and nearly twice the Minifigures, this October’s UCS set is the most ambitious Death Star LEGO has ever attempted, aimed exclusively at adults and collectors. This brand new 2025 model also captures a new diorama-like approach compared to the previous iterations, which were designed as “dollhouse-style” builds with open interiors. Exterior Build Unlike previous versions of the Death Star, this new UCS version is not a complete sphere. Instead, it is a large-scale diorama built in the shape of a half-sphere cross-section. This design allows the set to show both the exterior of the Death Star and the highly detailed and action-packed interior. The closed outer side features a textured grey surface and the station's iconic superlaser dish, while the open interior side will act as a cutaway diorama showcasing some of the major scenes from the original trilogy. With its long and narrow shape, the brick-built half sphere can sit flat against a wall or on a shelf, with one side showing the Death Star’s battle station exterior and the other side fully open to the Minifigure-friendly interior. Interior Build The interior itself is includes multiple iconic locations from both various Star Wars movies and action packed scenes. These could include the Emperor's throne room, the detention block and prison cells where Leia was rescued, the trash compactor with its signature closing walls, and the main control room. All of these locations are likely laid out in layers/stacked sections, similar to a dollhouse and previous LEGO Death Star iterations such as 75159 Death Star. Each section, packed with details including control panels, weapons racks, railings, screens, and small brick-built props, are then built into the spherical structure of the giant brick-built Death Star. Since the 18+ model utilises this open cutaway design, we are also able to see each room without having to open or remove any panels. Minifigure Lineup The UCS Death Star doesn’t just set records for size as it also includes a record-breaking 38 LEGO Minifigures , the most ever in a LEGO set. These span heroes, villains, troops, and even obscure deep-cut characters. The 38 characters include Luke Skywalker (x3): Tatooine robes, Stormtrooper disguise, and Jedi Knight. Han Solo (x2): Stormtrooper disguise and classic smuggler outfit. Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO. Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Grand Moff Tarkin. Rogue One characters: Director Orson Krennic and Galen Erso. Imperial Command: Wulff Yularen, Admiral Motti, General Tagge, Imperial Dignitary. Troops & Specialists: Stormtroopers (x6), “Hot Tub Stormtrooper”, Royal Guards (x2), Shuttle Pilot, Crew Members (x2), Gunners (x2), Death Star Troopers (x2), Imperial Naval Officer. Unique Droids: 5D6-RA-7 (silver protocol droid) and a black-and-silver Imperial astromech. Gift With Purchase To celebrate the launch of 75419 UCS Death Star, LEGO will be releasing an exclusive Gift With Purchase of 40771 TIE Fighter . The latest LEGO interpretation of the TIE Fighter includes just 236 pieces but reportedly matches the scale of the Death Star build and can fit in the 18+ models brick-built hangar. A total of three Minifigures are also included with the GWP that will only be available with purchases of 75419 from the 1st of October 2025. So that's everything you need to know about 75419 UCS Death Star, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75419 in just a months time? Is there anything missing from the largest and most detailed brick-built version of the Death Star yet? Which of the 38 Minifigures included in 75419 are you looking forward to getting the most? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Star Wars 75419 UCS Death Star Rumoured For October 2025

The LEGO Star Wars theme has already been treated to two incredibly large and detailed Ultimate Collectors Edition sets in 2025, with 75409 Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship and 75417 AT-ST Walker . However, on the 1st of October 2025, the theme is going one step further with the release of 75419 UCS Death Star. The 18+ model will break numerous records - from the biggest and most expensive LEGO Star Wars set yet to the first $1,000 LEGO set and the most Minifigures to appear in a single model. Unlike previous versions of the Death Star, this new UCS version will reportedly not be a complete sphere. Instead, it will be a large-scale diorama built in the shape of a half-sphere cross-section. This design allows the set to show both the exterior of the Death Star and the highly detailed and action-packed interior. The closed outer side will feature a textured grey surface and the station's iconic superlaser dish, while the open interior side will act as a cutaway diorama showcasing some of the major scenes from the original trilogy. With its $1,000 price tag (or $999.99 to be exact), the rumoured size of 75419 reflects its huge scale and ambitions set by the LEGO Star Wars design team. Overall, the model is expected to measure around 70 cm in height, 79 cm in length and 27 cm in width. The suggested long and narrow shape of the brick-built half sphere suggests that the set can sit flat against a wall or on a shelf, with one side showing the Death Star's battle station exterior and the other side fully open to the Minifigure-friendly interior. The interior itself is likely to include multiple iconic locations from both Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. These could include the Emperor's throne room, the detention block and prison cells where Leia was rescued, the trash compactor with its signature closing walls and the main control room. Here we'll likely find the laser firing system and large displays, and there may also be a small TIE Fighter bay to go alongside the rumoured TIE Fighter GWP for 75419 UCS Death Star. All of these locations are likely to be laid out in layers or stacked sections, similar to a dollhouse and previous LEGO Death Star iterations such as 75159 Death Star. Each section, packed with details, including control panels, weapons racks, railings, screens and small brick-built props, will then be built into the spherical structure of the giant brick-built Death Star. Since the 18+ model utilises this open cutaway design, we'll also likely be able to see each room without having to open or remove any panels. Another exciting aspect of 75419 UCS Death Star is its huge Minifigure lineup - the most figures to appear in a single LEGO set ever! A total of 38 characters are rumoured to be included, with three different versions of Luke Skywalker and two versions of Han Solo amongst these. There's also Chewbacca, Princess Leia, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine and Grand Moff Tarkin. However, the UCS model not only includes characters from the original trilogy but also Orson Krennic and Galen Erso from Rogue One. 75419 also includes further, less well-known and more unique characters such as Wulff Yularen, Admiral Motti, General Tagge, Imperial Dignitary, a Stormtrooper, a Hot Tub Stormtrooper, Imperial Royal Guard, Imperial Shuttle Pilot, Imperial Crew Member, Death Star Gunner and 5D6-RA-7 (the silver protocol droid seen briefly on the Death Star). A further 13 Minifigures are still unknown and will make up the rest of the 18+ model, which includes a total of 9,019 pieces. We imagine a stand will be included alongside the main Death Star build to easily display all of the 38 characters. A shuttle is also expected to be included in 75419, adding further playability and scenes from the intergalactic films to recreate in this action-packed, mega and extremely unique large-scale, half-sphere cross-section diorama build. 75419 UCS Death Star Set Name - UCS Death Star Set Number - 75419 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 9,019 Price - $999.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2025 75419 UCS Death Star releases on the 1st of October 2025, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75419 in a couple of months time? What do you make of this $1,000 Death Star being a large-scale diorama rather than a complete sphere? What scenes do you hope are included in the Death Star's interior? What other Minifigures would you like to see in the rumoured LEGO Star Wars set? • LEGO Ideas 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo Officially Revealed | October 2025

The LEGO Group has officially revealed the next entry to the fan-inspired LEGO Ideas theme, bringing an '80s cult classic to life in brick-built form. 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo releases on the 1st of October 2025 and includes a total of 1,135 pieces retailing for $109.99 / €99.99  / £89.99. This marks the eighth LEGO Ideas set of the year, following the likes of 21360 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory , and celebrates one of cinema’s most lovable creatures. 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo is based on the winning entry of the LEGO Ideas “If We Could Turn Back Time” challenge, where fan designer terauma’s original creation took the top prize. While the original submission included around 400 pieces, LEGO’s design team has transformed the concept into a far more detailed 1,125-piece model. The result is a detailed display-worthy version of Gizmo that captures the playful charm of the Mogwai with clever techniques, play features and expressive details. The official build stands approximately 20 cm tall and showcases Gizmo’s most iconic features: oversized ears, expressive brick-built eyes, and an adorably oversized head that matches his on-screen proportions. The 18+ display set also includes movable features, with poseable arms and fingers, head rotation, and flexible ears. Just like this year's 43269 101 Dalmatians Puppy , you can swap Gizmo's brick-built limbs to display him in either a sitting or a standing position. The original fan design also included a couple of brick-built accessories with the inclusion of Gremlin 2's Rambo style. However, the LEGO Ideas design team have changed the brick-built accessories included with the LEGO version of Gizmo. The character instead includes a water splash element attached to its back and a pair of 3D glasses like the ones Gizmo uses to read comics in the film. 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo Set Name - Gremlins: Gizmo Set Number - 21361 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,125 Price - $109.99 / €99.99  / £89.99 Release Date - 1st October 2025 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo releases on the 1st of October 2025, but what do you think? • LEGO Ideas 21362 Minerals Display Rumoured For October 2025

LEGO and geology fans may have a new gem to look forward to starting from the 1st of October 2025, with the release of the latest LEGO Ideas model. In particular, this is 21362 Minerals Display, which releases alongside the previously rumoured 18+ set of 21361 Gremlins: Gizmo . 21362 will be the cheapest set of 2025 for the theme, with 880 pieces retailing for just $59.99 / €59.99  / £54.99. Officially approved in November 2024, Minerals Display is essentially a refined, museum-style showcase featuring six entirely brick-built mineral specimens arranged on a dark brown modular shelving frame. The display is then divided into three vertical sections, each topped and accented with small golden corner plates to give further design elements and details to the structure. The shelves are open on all sides, allowing plenty of displayability to capture the unique mineral builds utilising multiple transparent and metallic elements. The modular display frame is the element of the original submission by DDF72 that will likely change the most in the final, official design. The LEGO designers will likely redesign the entire display unit, possibly getting rid of it altogether and placing the various minerals on a simple black display stand like those seen in the LEGO BrickHeadz theme. The six intricately designed mineral specimens will, however, likely remain in the final set, becoming the centrepiece of the 18+ model. These minerals include: Pyrite - A geometric cluster of metallic gold cubes. Amethyst Geode - An oval tan layer surrounding various transparent elements of white and purple to mimic sparkling crystal formations. Emerald - Built into a white and grey rock face with various transparent green pieces. Orange Quartz - A tall cluster of transparent orange columns emerging from a jagged white base. Rhodochrosite - Various-sized pink/red transparent cubes surrounding small white transparent elements on a simple black base. Black Tourmaline with Aquamarine - A tall black column with the lower half having transparent blue pieces on a white rock foundation. 21362 Minerals Display Set Name - Minerals Display Set Number - 21362 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 880 Price - $59.99 / €59.99  / £54.99 Release Date - 1st October 2025 21362 Minerals Display releases on the 1st of October 2025, but what do you think? The Gingerbread AT-AT is expected to be a playful holiday set reimagining one of the most iconic vehicles in Star Wars. Instead of the usual grey, mechanical exterior, the walker will look as if it's been baked from gingerbread with plenty of brown and tan coloured pieces. A couple of white tiles and studs will likely also be utilised to represent icing along the edges of the AT-AT alongside some colourful LEGO gumdrops and candy canes, for example. With 697 pieces, 40806 will be one of the smallest LEGO interpretations of the AT-AT walker alongside some microscale and microfighter iterations. The set will most likely be similar in size to 2010's 8129 AT-AT Walker, but will include just a single exclusive Minifigure of Gingerbread Darth Vader. Lord Vader, in this much more vibrant and festive form, includes printing on both his toros and legs and likely comes with an appropriately themed accessory. 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Set Name - Gingerbread AT-AT Set Number - 40806 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - 697 Price - $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 Release Date - 1st October 2025 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT releases on the 1st of October 2025, but what do you think? • LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz 40884 Drift & Raven Figures Officially Revealed | October 2025

It's a brand-new month, and the LEGO Group is already treating us to official reveals of various upcoming LEGO sets. The first of these is a brand-new LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz, following on from last month's promotional model of 40760 Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader . However, unlike 40760, the officially presented 40884 Drift & Raven Figures will be available in normal distribution, starting from the 1st of October 2025, retailing for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 and including a total of 280 pieces. The double pack obviously includes the two characters, Raven and Drift. The Legendary outfit belonging to Raven is known for its dark, ominous look, which is translated here into LEGO BrickHeadz  form. The character is predominantly black with hints of purple, navy blue and pink, along with glowing purple eyes, which surprisingly don't use the conventional BrickHeadz 1x1 eyes. Drift, on the other hand, another legendary outfit, is a colourful contrast with his signature fox mask and streetwear-inspired outfit. The BrickHeadz version focuses on the unique white and gold mask, covering the character's face and pink hood. The character's torso includes more elements of pink, white and gold, whilst a single accessory of a grey pickaxe is also included for this brick-built interpretation of Drift. 40884 Drift & Raven Figures Set Name - Drift & Raven Figures Set Number - 40884 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 280 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st October 2025 40884 Drift & Raven Figures releases on the 1st of October 2025, but what do you think?
