  • LEGO NINJAGO 71861 The Old Town 15th Anniversary Officially Revealed | January 2026

The final LEGO NINJAGO  set for January 2026 has been officially revealed, and it's well worth the wait, as the biggest and most expensive model of the year for the theme. In particular, this is 71861 The Old Town 15th Anniversary, which is unsurprisingly heavily celebrating 15 years of the ninja-themed line of LEGO sets. The 14+ model includes a total of 4,851 pieces retailing for an incredible price of just $309.99 / €309.99 / £279.99. The Old Town appears as a comprehensive city model that incorporates various elements from the LEGO NINJAGO animated TV series, including some of the older iconic episodes and the more recent Dragon Rising series. The town is basically an almost circular, enclosed city wall which includes four module sections. Each section includes numerous buildings and several play features and smaller details. The stone structure of the build is reminiscent of early monasteries, with sloped roofs, heavy wooden beams and layered stonework forming the majority of its architecture. Cherry blossom trees grow around the exterior, along with small structures around the main town wall, such as a tea cart and a woodshop. The four previously mentioned modules include a front gate, a post office and workshop, a three-story tower and a lookout. Across these sections, there are even further builds and play features, including a working crane, a zipline, a collapsible wall and several secret rooms which only become visible during construction. All four modules can be displayed in a circle, in a line or completely separate. The Minifigure lineup is extremely substantial, covering characters from across NINJAGO history. The set includes 23 Minifigures altogether: Young Wu, Young Garmadon, and The First Spinjitzu Master (all celebrating the 15th anniversary); Faith, Mystake, Krux, Acronix, Garmadon, Ed, Wu, Dr. Julien, Harumi, Jay, Zane, Nya, Cole, Lloyd, and Kai. The 14+ model also includes a postman, a travel agent from the administration, a thief and two Loyalists, including their leader. Several LEGO Minifigures include unique design notes: the First Spinjitzu Master has silver robe detailing, a dark yellow belt, and a face based on The Spinjitzu Brothers book. Zane uses a yellow head, not a titanium one, and includes a falcon designed in the style of the classic LEGO parrot mould. Lloyd has gold armour components, and Jay includes a glider and helmet as additional accessories. Altogether, 71861 The Old Town is the perfect tribute to the heritage of NINJAGO. It's an ancient, stone-built, peaceful settlement packed with cherry blossom scenery and smaller traditional shops, alongside a remarkably diverse cast of characters spanning multiple eras of the story. • LEGO Ideas 21365 Love Birds Officially Revealed | January 2026

Love is in the air, as along with the recently revealed 40867 Love Letters , the LEGO Group has officially presented another Valentine's Day-themed LEGO model. In particular, this is 21365 Love Birds, which is the first LEGO Ideas  set of 2026, following on from the theme's record-breaking 12 months this year. The 18+ model retails for $49.99 / €49.99  / £44.99 from the 1st of January 2025 as a LEGO store and Target exclusive. 21365 Love Birds is 2026's perfect LEGO Valentine's Day model, with a compact yet elegant display piece releasing just over a month before the day we all celebrate love. The original submission by Modular Maniac won the LEGO Ideas  Build from the Heart Challenge, utilising a total of 411 pieces to recreate the vibrant model. Just a year later, we have official images of the final design, including over 300 pieces more, with 750 elements included. The build centres on two brick-built coral-pink love birds, carefully shaped using plenty of curved elements to create some of the most detailed and elegant birds in brick-built LEGO form yet. The two birds are perched very close to each other and posed in a way that highlights their special bond. In fact, the birds can be angled in a particular way to create a love heart. Simple yet expressive eyes are included for these birds along with posability in the birds' legs, wings and head. These two beautifully designed birds are perched on an intricately designed tree with a large brick-built branch hanging out to the side to take the weight of the love birds. The entirely brown tree is built on a similar scale and level of detail to those seen in the LEGO Botanicals  theme. Delicate and detailed spring blossoms are then found at the end of the large branch, and scattered throughout the rest of the tree, which includes a small, simple yet sturdy tree root base to display 21365. 21365 Love Birds Set Name - Love Birds Set Number - 21365 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 750 Price - $49.99 / €49.99  / £44.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 21365 Love Birds releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think? The iconic and lovable Looney Tunes character is represented by his grey and white fur and extremely expressive, large-printed eyes. His pink nose is also printed and located just above his large mouth and two white teeth. Bugs Bunny's long ears, head, arms and fingers are all posable. Not all of Bugs Bunny is recreated, however, as the rabbit can be seen emerging from a burrow. Here we can see plenty of brown elements signifying mud, along with a cute and colourful flower. • LEGO Icons 11371 Shopping Street Officially Revealed | January 2026

Get ready for the latest addition to your LEGO modular street as the LEGO Group has officially revealed 2026's LEGO Modular Building. In particular, the new Modular Building is 11371 Shopping Street, which creates two buildings of a music shop and a furniture store with a small alleyway in between. The 18+ model is available from the 1st of January 2026, including 3,456 pieces and retailing for $249.99 / €249.99 / £229.99. The Modular Building itself starts with the usual grey sidewalk, including a fire hydrant and the iconic white lamposts seen in every Modular Building. There's also a small white fountain in the centre, which is replicated using the LEGO kitten piece but completely white with no further printing. The sidewalk not only stretches along the front of the baseplate but also at an angle to the right to create a small alleyway between the two stores on Shopping Street. 11371 is significantly taller than previous Modular Buildings, with the sand green and white building located to the left of the base plate measuring a total of 36 cm (14 inches) high. On the ground floor of this building, we can find the music store called Brickleys, recognisable by a trumpet hanging over the glass door. The second floor also houses more of Brickleys' instrument offerings, including a trombone, a small tuba, and a French horn. The top floor of this building is home to a classic Modular Building apartment. Here we can find a bed, an armchair and a radio along with a separate room for the toilet. A door from the apartment leads directly to a roof terrace, which is located above the other building included in the LEGO Icons model. A roof garden and a dovecote can be found here, along with two of the new LEGO City pigeon elements. This nature-friendly rooftop is found on the second building, placed on the right of the overall modular baseplate and home to the furniture store. This is a much darker coloured building with its brown and beige tones, but it is still inspired by historic European architecture, along with its charming angled walls. Just like the music store, the furniture store takes up two storeys, with the ground floor being the actual place to buy the brick-built furniture, while the upper floor houses a workshop where furniture can be built and restored. Plenty of tools and wood suppliers can be found here, along with a wooden duck referencing LEGO's rich history. Meanwhile, the ground floor has various completed brick-built furnishings, such as some stools and a table. The brick-built shopping street is brought to life by the addition of seven LEGO Minifigures . These include two children with brick-built instrument accessories, a female figure with a LEGO crutch, the music store owner, a customer with a dark blue cap, a furniture maker, and a maintenance worker with a red helmet and tools. Several animals also appear in the $250 set, including the previously mentioned pigeons, a cat and a rat. 11371 Shopping Street Set Name - Shopping Street Set Number - 11371 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,456 Price - $249.99 / €249.99 / £229.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 11371 Shopping Street Modular Building releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think? Consisting of two separate buildings on just the standard 32x32 baseplate, 11371 includes a total of 3,456 pieces retailing for a reported price of $229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99. Within this price tag, a total of seven LEGO Minifigures are also included, a couple of pigeons, a cat and a rat. These figures include two children with ice cream and cupcakes, a female Minifigure with a crutch, the music store owner, the furniture store owner, a female Minifigure with red hair and a maintenance worker with a red helmet and tools. The Modular Building itself starts with the usual grey sidewalk, including a fire hydrant and the iconic white lamposts seen in every Modular Building. There's also a small white fountain in the centre, which features the previously mentioned cat piece. The sidewalk not only stretches along the front of the baseplate but also at an angle to the right to create a small alleyway between the two stores on Shopping Street. The exact heights of two buildings are currently unknown, but the sand green and white building located to the left of the base plate may be one of the tallest buildings we've seen in the LEGO Icons Modular Building line. On the ground floor of this building, we can find the music store called Brickleys, recognisable by a trumpet hanging over the glass door. The other two floors are rumoured to house a flower shop and an apartment. On the right, we can find the furniture store, located in a much darker coloured building with its brown beige tones. Just like the music store, the furniture store is only found on the ground floor with a double glass door and a sale sign out front. Inside there are various tables, chairs, draws and more. Some of these may even be found in the apartment above the store, which also includes a roof terrace. 11371 Shopping Street Modular Building Set Name - Shopping Street Modular Building Set Number - 11371 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,456 Price - $229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 11371 Shopping Street Modular Building releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think?
