  • LEGO Technic 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht Officially Revealed | August 2024

The LEGO Technic theme releases an abundance of vehicles every single year but not many of them are tailored to be either on or underwater. Luckily, along with a range of supercars, trucks and another space-themed vehicle, a brand new water-themed vehicle is also releasing on the 1st of August 2024. In particular, this is 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht which includes a total of 962 pieces for a heavy retail price of $119.99. The release of 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht coincides with the 37th America's Cup that takes place in just over a months time. New Zealand's yacht for this year is the AC75 which has been beautifully translated into brick-built LEGO form for a high price of $120. The water-based model measures 68 cm high, 56 cm long and 33 cm wide with two large printed sails being the main reasons for this tall 18+ model. The main build of the yacht is mainly black and red but plenty of stickers are included to create some light blue lines and to showcase the sponsors. One of the reasons for the high price, along with the two printed sails, is the pneumatic feature. By turning the crank on the display stand, this feature allows the foil arms on both sides of the racing yacht to be raised. This provides plenty of stability and speed to the brick-built yacht. 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht Set Name - Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht Set Number - 42174 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 962 Price - $119.99 / €119.99 / £104.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? In particular, this 18+ model, exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home is a brand new midiscale set of 76295 The Avengers Helicarrier. The LEGO Marvel set releases on the 1st of August 2024 with 509 pieces retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99. • LEGO Star Wars 75398 C-3PO Officially Revealed | August 2024

The LEGO Star Wars theme is ready for another action-packed wave of sets with models being revealed left, right and center for the theme. A part of this brand new August 2024 wave of LEGO Star Wars is a brand new D2C of 75398 C-3PO. Our first ever brick-built version of the fan favourite droid C-3PO will be released on the 1st of August 2024 for $139.99 / €139.99 / £124.99 with a total of 1,138 pieces included. C-3PO has been a common character in the Star Wars franchise and that has carried over into LEGO form too so it's a surprise that it's taken LEGO so long to create a brick-built version of the droid. We've already seen three buildable R2-D2's release, including this year's 75379 R2-D2, and Chewbacca with 2023s 75371 Chewbacca. 2024's 75398 C-3PO is officially built on the same scale as 75379 R2-D2 but will make a great display model alongside the brick-built version of Chewy too and all the other R2-D2s. 75398 C-3PO measures over 38 cm tall with a fair amount of larger moulds and pieces used to recreate this LEGO version of C-3PO. Obviously, a lot of shiny gold elements are included to create the brick-built protocol droid which also comes with his silver leg. Sadly, the gold pieces are pearl gold and not metallic gold with a couple of stickers also being included to show the droid's cables in the stomach area. However, C-3PO is moveable with the head being fully rotatable and the arms can be raised to the droid's shoulder points. Being an 18+ model, a small display stand of the Tatooine desert along with an information plaque for the droid is also included. This black information plaque/display stand also has room to display the single Minifigure included in 75398 of C-3PO himself. However, it is sadly the same C-3PO minifigure that’s currently exclusive to 75341 Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder, complete with that dual-moulded silver leg. 75398 C-3PO Set Name - C-3PO Set Number - 75398 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,138 Price - $139.99 / €139.99 / £119.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75398 C-3PO releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75398 in exactly a months time? What other buildable droids or characters would you like to see in 2025 and beyond? The reveals for LEGO Star Wars in 2024 just keep on coming with 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit now being officially revealed. This is another model a part of the licensed themes action-packed August 2024 wave which includes a total of nine different sets.75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit is one of the few sets of the wave to be under $100 retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 with a total of 558 pieces. The LEGO Star Wars theme is used to high prices but this is extremely high when you consider the amount of pieces included. But this is mainly because 75396 includes a total of six Minifigures based on the Return of the Jedi. These are Luke Skywalker with a new hairpiece, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian and Boba Fett along with an exclusive 25th Anniversary Minifigure of Nien Nunb. The two main builds of the set are obviously the Desert Skiff and the Sarlacc Pit. The desert skiff features translucent elements for a hover effect and has a couple of fun play features such as a push-out plank for Luke Skywalker to walk and the foldout railing where Han Solo nearly fell off. The pit has levers to move the Sarlacc’s tentacles, and the Sarlacc has space in its mouth for a single LEGO Minifigure. 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit Set Name - Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit Set Number - 75396 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 558 Price - $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Star Wars 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea Officially Revealed | August 2024

Next month, it'll have been a year since the release of the Ahsoka Disney+ series and with that in mind, LEGO are finally producing spoiler-filled sets based on the show. The first of these has been officially revealed for a 1st of August 2024 release of 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea. The Ahsoka branded set based on the final episode of the first season will retail for $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 and includes a total of 382 pieces. 75385 is basically an ultimate LEGO Star Wars Battle Pack with the emphasis very much being on the Minifigure selection rather than the main build. For $55, a total of five exclusive Minifigures are included of Ahsoka Tano, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Morgan Elsbeth, Ezra Bridger and a Night Trooper. Ahsoka comes in her white outfit whilst Thrawn appears in LEGO Minifigure form for the first time outside of the Rebels TV show and comes in a lighter shade of blue. As we said earlier, the emphasis of the set is on its incredible Minifigure lineup but we still have an obvious build for the duel. The 382 pieces create a diorama of the planet Peridea with those four black pillars being included with stickers for the gold outline. The grey platform has three round plates embedded into its floor which can be moved using gears on the side of the brick-built model to recreate the battle. 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea Set Name - Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea Set Number - 75385 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 382 Price - $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75385 in exactly a months time? Did you enjoy the Ahsoka Disney+ series as much as we did (we loved it!)? And what other sets would you like to see from the show? The 18+ set was previously scheduled to release in October 2023 or April 2024 but has continuously been pushed back and will now release on the 20th of September 2024. • LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition Rumoured For September 2024

2024 has already seen the release of one LEGO Harry Potter D2C of 76429 Talking Sorting Hat but one more, even bigger 18+ model is releasing in a few months time. In particular, this is the main D2C of 2024 of 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition. It will retail for a total of $259.99 with 2,405 pieces making it the biggest and most detailed brick built of the Burrow house to date. The last LEGO version of the Weasley's house released in 2020 of 75980 Attack on the Burrow but avid LEGO fans will know we've been waiting for a D2C version of the house since February 2023. This is because an 18+ collectors style Burrow appeared in the infamous survey leak along with Marchs Talking Sorting Hat. Both sets clearly went down well as we're expecting 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition to release on the 1st of September 2024. This brand new The Burrow is much bigger and more detailed than any of the previous versions. The house will be fully enclosed but will be built across many floors with different colourful and random rooms included on each floor. Some exciting and interesting building techniques are used, particularly to create the house in a sliding motion. The Burrow also includes plenty of hinge connections to open up the house and access the hidden interior details. Being an 18+ set, no stickers are luckily included and instead replaced by exclusive prints. Quidditch team logos, posters and bedding are some of the main cool Harry Potter prints in this September 2024 LEGO set. A small garden with pigs is also attached to the brick-built Burrow along with a cool play feature where the dishes can magically wash themselves. The biggest Burrow yet isn't complete without a stellar Minifigure lineup. Current rumours suggest that 76937 will include as many as 10 Minifigures of Molly, Arthur, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George, Percy, Errol and - of course - Harry. A mysterious Minifigure fills the tenth spot but we could be in luck and get as many 12 or even 15 Minifigures in the $260 18+ set. 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition Set Name - The Burrow: Collectors Edition Set Number - 76437 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,405 Price - $259.99 Release Date - 1st September 2024 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition releases on the 1st of September but what do you think? Will you be purchasing the biggest and best version of the Burrow in just a few months time? What are you looking forward to most about the 18+ model? • First Leaked Images of LEGO Star Wars 75398 C-3PO | August 2024

The LEGO Star Wars theme is almost ready for another action-packed wave of sets with a few models already being revealed this morning and in previous days. A part of this brand new August 2024 wave of LEGO Star Wars is a brand new D2C of 75398 C-3PO. Our first ever brick-built version of the fan favourite droid C-3PO will be released on the 1st of August 2024 for $139.99 / €139.99 / £119.99 with a total of 1,138 pieces included. C-3PO has been a common character in the Star Wars franchise and that has carried over into LEGO form too so it's a surprise that it's taken LEGO so long to create a brick-built version of the droid. We've already seen three buildable R2-D2's release, including this year's 75379 R2-D2, and Chewbacca with 2023s 75371 Chewbacca so it is nice to also get C-3PO to celebrate 25 years of the LEGO Star Wars theme. Compared to the two buildable characters mentioned, 75398 Buildable C-3PO is in scale with May's R2-D2 which can also be reflected in a much smaller piece count compared to the 18+ Chewy that was released in September last year. A fair amount of larger moulds and pieces and of course some exclusive prints are included in this LEGO version of C-3PO. Obviously, a lot of shiny gold elements are included to create the brick-built protocol droid which also comes with a silver leg. Amongst these is probably the biggest 'what if...' LEGO Star Wars set of 75389 The Dark Falcon which has now been officially presented by LEGO. The 10+ model will be available for $179.99 with a total of 1,578 pieces included. Similar to two more models releasing on the 1st of August 2024, 75389 The Dark Falcon is based on the upcoming four-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. You can already see this branding for the series from the box art, which includes the Disney+ series' logo and an interesting mix of colours along the side of the set. The most exciting part of the set has to be its Minifigure lineup which is just as weird and as wacky as the set name and idea. Six exclusive Minifigures are included of Jedi Vader in a white suit, Beach Luke, Darth Jar Jar, Darth Rey, Bounty Hunter C-3PO and Darth Dev. All include new torso and leg printing along with a range of accessories which we wouldn't associate with their characters. For example, Darth Jar Jar is dressed in black with a red lightsaber as an accessory. The build itself is similar to previous LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcons but this time in a much darker colour scheme. Most of the build is black and dark grey along with some cool red tinted windows. The interior of the Falcon has some space for play too with Darth Jar Jar’s throne, the command centre, hyperdrive, entertainment area and jail cell all included along with plenty of landing gear and weapons included for the evil emperor Darth Jar Jar. 75389 The Dark Falcon Set Name - The Dark Falcon Set Number - 75389 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,578 Price - $179.99 / €179.99 / £159.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75389 The Dark Falcon releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think?
