The next wave of LEGO Minecraft sets are here after the first set of the wave was leaked by LEGO themselves a few months ago. This set is 21240 The Swamp Adventure which is based on the most recent update of 1.19 The Wild Update. The $9.99 is small but includes a section of the Mangrove forest along with one of the newest mobs: a frog. Another set that features one of Minecraft's newest mobs is 21244 The Sword Outpost. This includes a brand new piece for the Alley along with a large diamond sword build. Other sets of the wave include buildable animal houses of a Bee and a Panda. These come in 21241 The Bee Cottage and 21245 The Panda Haven which is just an upgrade of The Panda Nursery from a couple of years ago. However, the biggest set of the wave is 21246 The Deep Dark Battle which retails for $64.99 and is again based on the most recent update. It's also based on Minecraft's scariest biome of the deep dark and includes lots of sculk pieces in LEGO form for the first time. But the best thing about the set has to be the new Warden which even includes an ability to spawn out of the ground just like in game! 21240 The Swamp Adventure Set Name - The Swamp Adventure Set Number - 21240 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 65 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 21241 The Bee Cottage Set Name - The Bee Cottage Set Number - 21241 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 254 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 21242 The End Arena Set Name - The End Arena Set Number - 21242 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 252 Price - $24.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 21243 The Frozen Peaks Set Name - The Frozen Peaks Set Number - 21243 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 304 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 21244 The Sword Outpost Set Name - The Sword Outpost Set Number - 21244 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 427 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 21245 The Panda Haven Set Name - The Panda Haven Set Number - 21245 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 553 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 21246 The Deep Dark Battle Set Name - The Deep Dark Battle Set Number - 21246 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - 584 Price - $64.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023

These sets will also be retailing on 1st January 2023 but will be more expensive than in previous years. The LEGO Marvel 'gimmick' mech sets are now $5 more expensive this year mainly due to the recent price increase but also because the sets now include more stability around the legs. 76241 Hulk Mech Armor Set Name - Hulk Mech Armor Set Number - 76241 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 138 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 76242 Thanos Mech Armor Set Name - Thanos Mech Armor Set Number - 76242 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 113 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 76243 Rocket Mech Armor Set Name - Rocket Mech Armor Set Number - 76243 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 98 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023

The next wave of LEGO Marvel sets are here as four sets for January 2023 have been officially revealed. These four sets are based on a bunch of different films and trilogys but will all release on 1st January 2023 along with three LEGO Marvel mechs that have not currently been revealed. One of the most interesting sets of the wave has to be 76244 is Miles Morales vs. Morbius which includes the popular character of Morbius and the comic book version of Miles Morales. These characters come with a neat black and red car whilst 76245 includes another vehicle but this time being a bike. To ride this bike will be Ghost Rider in a black and orange mech. The last two sets are both infinity saga sets and are the biggest of the wave retailing for $49.99 and $99.99 respectively. The first of these is another Hulkbuster but this time based on the battle of Wakanda from Avengers: Infinity War. This is easily a much better-looking build than the recent D2C Hulkbuster with many fans agreeing. And finally, the second infinity saga set and the last set of the wave is a new Avengers Quinjet. The new $100 one is based on the Battle of New York featuring Minifigures of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Loki. With Christmas fast approaching, LEGO has revealed the second of two LEGO seasonal promotional sets for this year. In particular, the GWP is 40565 which includes 329 pieces along with two Minifigures of Santa and an Elf. The set name is Santa's Workshop which is the same as the now-retired 10245 Santa’s Workshop indicating that the promotional set may be a small expansion. The vignette-style build of Santa's workshop has plenty of space for both Minifigures and plenty of presents. The main part of the build is a conveyor belt where the presents are being transported. This can be inside or outside of the main build. There's also a small desk where the toys are actually made and painted. Accessories for this are located in and around the build along with the usual candle build and a lantern. With this official reveal, we also know more information about the availability of this Christmas Gift With Purchase. 40565 will be available from 1st December 2022 until 24th December 2022 with any purchases over $170 on any sets. This means it's the main Christmas set of the year along with 30584 Winter Christmas Train which is also available throughout December Set Information Set Name - Santa's Workshop Set Number - 40565 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - 329 Price - GWP over $170 Release Date - 1st December 2022

With Christmas fast approaching, LEGO has revealed the first of two LEGO seasonal promotional sets for this year. In particular, the GWP is 40564 Winter Elves which is a small winter scenery similar to last year's promotional LEGO Christmas set of 40484 Santa's Front Yard. However, this set includes two elf Minifigures wearing opposite colours. The elf in a green hat and red torso has a sleigh with 1x1 studs in white being used as snowballs. The other elf whos in a red hat and green torso is ice skating on a small bit of ice which is the focal point of the set. Here there's the possibility to spin the elf around using a blue cog at the front of the scene. In the background of the scene are two 2D trees and two 3D trees adding to the winter scene. A selection of colourful lights extend from one of the 3D trees to the other. The new squirrel piece from this year is also included in this set along with a small acorn build. With this official reveal, we also know more information about the availability of this Christmas Gift With Purchase. 40564 will be available from 19th November 2022 until 20th December 2022 with any purchases over $170 on any sets. LEGO Lord of the Rings is returning in 2023 with at least three Brickheadz in the first half of the year and $500 D2C. However, the theme itself is not officially returning as these seem to be one-off sets for an early 2023 release. The three Brickheadz are based on popular characters like Frodo, Gollum and Gandalf but the D2C has now only been confirmed by Stonewars.de and Leaky_minifigure on Instagram. The D2C set is rumoured to be a part of the LEGO Icons theme with the set number 10316 making it similar to the transformers set from last year. Speculation has heightened and it's now believed that 10316 will be based on Rivendell: the city of the Elbes. There exist many locations in Rivendell like the Council of Elrond or Frodo's bed so it's likely we could have quite a big and crazy set. The set may even be split into many parts to cover these locations. However, with many locations, there is the possibility that 10316 is microscale even though most rumours indicate it will be Minifigure scale. And if it is Minifigure scale then the majority of the characters will be exclusive and may even appear in LEGO form for the first time. However, like most of this rumour, nothing has been confirmed yet and we'll just have to wait until 1st March 2023 to find out more... Set Information Set Name - Rivendell Set Number - 10316 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $499.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023 Featured image: Stonewars.de
