- LEGO City 60406 Race Car and Car Carrier Truck Leaked Online For January 2024
The first images of 2024 LEGO sets are continuing to appear online with us now having our first glimpse at a LEGO city set. Thanks to lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram, a LEGO City 2024 build has leaked online giving us a hint at what's to come on 1st January 2024. The leaked image shows a funky race car build in vibrant colours of bright green and pink along with some hints of black. A single female Minifigure is shown driving the car and with the race car only being six studs wide, there's likely to be no space for a passenger Minifigure. A patterned stick is included along each side of the car with the rear also including some cool aerodynamic details. The race car build shown in the picture isn't a whole set though. We believe that the vibrant car is from 60406 Race Car and Car Carrier Truck which includes 328 pieces for $29.99. The Car Carrier Truck isn't shown in this image but the only other set that includes a race car is the 4+ set of 60399 Race Car. Either way as 2024 draws ever closer it won't be long until we get official pictures of all the LEGO City sets releasing on 1st January 2024. 60406 Race Car and Car Carrier Truck Set Name - Race Car and Car Carrier Truck Set Number - 60406 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 328 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

- LEGO Disney 43249 Stitch Buildable Figure Rumoured For March 2024
Stitch has been a common character in LEGO Disney Minifigure series but he'll be coming in a completely new form next year. That's right, the previous rumours that a buildable Stitch will be coming in 2024 are true and the brick-built blue alien will be coming under the set number 43249. The 9+ set will retail for $64.99 with 729 pieces making it bigger than another popular brick-built character of 76217 I am Groot. The buildable Stitch figure will most likely have many play features and functions. From moving arms and moving legs to an open and closable mouth. Due to the age range for the set being 9+, we won't be getting a black stand for Stitch but a Stitch Minifigure or a side build like a surfboard could also be included in 729 pieces. Sadly, it's still quite a while until we'll get to the set as 43249 Stitch Buildable Figure releases on 1st March 2024 43249 Stitch Buildable Figure Set Name - Stitch Buildable Figure Set Number - 43249 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 729 Price - $64.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024
- The LEGO Architecture Sets Retirement Schedule For 2023-2026
Even though the LEGO Architecture theme doesn't release many sets each year, there's still plenty available to purchase and with that, it's time to look at what's happening with the retirement of some of our beloved older sets from the LEGO Architecture theme. We've got information covering all sets on the market for the LEGO Architecture theme, covering the years up to 2026. Remember that this information is likely to change as new sets hit shelves in the summer of 2024 and sales continue to increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Architecture sets released in 2021 will definitely have retired at the end of 2025 to make way for even more 18+ Architecture models. December 2023 21054 The White House December 2024 21028 New York City 21034 London 21042 Statue of Liberty 21044 Paris 21056 Taj Mahal December 2025 21057 Singapore 21058 Great Pyramid of Giza 21060 Himeji Castle December 2026 21037 LEGO House While this list provides a rough outline of LEGO's retirement strategy for Architecture sets, always keep an eye out for changes and updates throughout the year. LEGO themselves will chop and change models in an extremely short period of time so our advice is to purchase a set whilst you can. But luckily one or two more sets will be coming next year so be ready to splash the cash on even more LEGO sets.
- LEGO Icons 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-Dur Rumoured For March 2024
After the popular release of 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell, it's no surprise that another Lord of the Rings set will release next year. In particular, this will be another LEGO Icons branded set of 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-Dur. The price and piece count of the 18+ set are currently just estimates but we're expecting the set to retail between $400 and $500 with a piece count around the 4,000 mark. Those of you keen LEGO fans will know that this set has been rumoured since earlier this year when a survey online leaked a Barad-Dur 18+ build. And this set will be that build but of course, modified with extra Lord of the Rings details and could even be slightly cheaper than that estimated price depending on the feedback from the survey. Either way, we're likely to find out more details soon as 10333 is rumoured to release on 1st March 2024 The actual build of Barad-Dur, Sauron's fortress in Mordor, is expected to be around 83 cm high, 44cm wide and 36cm deep with the Eye of Sauron taking up most of the set and being visible at the top of the build. However, a detailed interior will also be included with dungeons and armouries for Sauron's army of Orcs. The set will also be Minifigure scale just like 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell. Currently, it's believed the Minifigures of Sauron in full armour, Sam Gamgee, Frodo Baggins with the ring and a couple of Orcs will be included. But with 10316 including 15 Minifigures, we expect a lot more Minifigures to be included in the final set once it releases next year on the 1st of March 2024. Set Information Set Name - The Lord of the Rings: Barad-Dur Set Number - 10333 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 4,000 (roughly) Price - around $399.99 to $499.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024
- LEGO Ideas 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei GWP Rumoured For 1st November 2023
Our first and only LEGO Ideas Gift With Purchase of 2023 is ever closer to a release as it will be one of many promotional sets releasing in November. In particular, the 18+ LEGO Ideas GWP is 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei which is the winner of Ready, Set, Go STEM! challenge from last year. The original submission by Firecracker_ included exactly 250 pieces but 40595 will include 57 more at 307 pieces. This suggests LEGO have added more details to the set of Galileo's office, increasing its value which we assume to be worth around $10-$15. The set will then most be available with purchases around $180-$250 starting from 1st November 2023. However, the exact threshold is unknown and so is the length of time the GWP will be available for. But similar sets like 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute and the most recent one of 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute lasted a couple of weeks so we expect 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei to do the same. And just like those other two GWPs, 40595 will include a singular exclusive Minifigure of Galileo Galilei 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei GWP Set Name - Tribute to Galileo Galilei GWP Set Number - 40595 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 307 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 1st November 2023
- LEGO Marvel 76280 Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle Rumoured For January 2024
Spider-Man No Way Home released almost two years ago in cinemas but after 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle released in the summer, LEGO are finally making more sets. This is because another Spider-Man No Way Home set will be coming in just a few months time for a 1st January 2024 release. For $34.99, the set won't be the biggest LEGO Super Heroes set ever as only 347 pieces are included along with three Minifigures. These Minifigures are fairly exciting though with Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in his gold and black suit being included along with Electro and Lizard. Electro will be reused from 76261 but Lizard will be a brand new figure which will use the T-rex tail used in Series 24. As you can tell from the name of the set, Sandman will be a main part of the build of the set with the supervillain being included as a brick-built character. He will most likely be the main play feature of the set along with a couple more builds to recreate the final battle between Spider-Man and Sandman. And all of this will be included on a small black base just like 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle. 76280 Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle Set Name - Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle Set Number - 76280 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 347 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024
- LEGO Ideas 21346 Your Family Tree Rumoured For January 2024
New rumours suggest that the LEGO Ideas theme will be having another busy year with two sets rumoured for a 1st January 2024 release. We already covered one of these sets over a month ago of 21345 Polaroid Camera which for $79.99 will be a brick-built LEGO version of the Polaroid OneStep SX-70 camera. But thanks to lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram we also now know that 21346 Your Family Tree will be releasing alongside 21345. 21346 Your Family Tree is the winner of the family-themed LEGO Ideas contest that took place with Target in 2022. This is the second competition of its kind with 21343 Viking Village winning the first vote back in 2021. But 21346 will be a much smaller and niche set, retailing for $79.99 and being centred around family and the unique love that comes with family. The piece count of 21346 is currently unconfirmed but we expect a fair amount to be included for that price point and to make the beautiful brick-built tree. This will be covered with family portraits that can sit and hang from branches and leaves coloured different shades of red for love. Unlike 21345 Polaroid Camera, we expect 21346 to be Minifigure scale and include quite a few, diverse Minifigures to create a LEGO family. 21346 Your Family Tree Set Name - Your Family Tree Set Number - 21346 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024
- LEGO Icons 10326 Natural History Museum Rumoured Build + Minifigures | January 2024
2024s LEGO Modular Building is set to be the biggest yet with a Natural History Museum awaiting us on 1st January 2024. The news that 10326 will be a Natural History Museum was reported a few days ago but thanks to new sources we have further information about the LEGO Icons set. Maxbautde on Instagram has given us details about the brick-built museum and its Minifigure selection which will retail for $299.99 with 4,014 pieces. Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, 2024s modular will be the biggest and most expensive modular ever. 10326 Natural History Museum will overtake the now retiring 10255 Assembly Square which also retails for $299.99 but with just a few fewer pieces at 4,002. This suggests that 10326 will not only be the LEGO Icons flagship set for 2024, but also the LEGO Modular Building flagship model perfect for expanding your LEGO city. For $299.99, 10326 Natural History Museum will include a total of seven Minifigures ranging from Museum workers to visitors both young and old. This is one less than 2023's much cheaper LEGO Modular Building of 10312 Jazz Club suggesting that 10326 and its 4,014 pieces are mainly used for the architecture and brick-built models included in the Natural History Museum. And this is no surprise as 10326 Natural History Museum will be 48 studs wide and 32 studs deep yet still fit in with the rest of the LEGO Modulars. Located in the entrance hall of the Museum will be a large skeleton of the Brachiosaurs dinosaur. Many small intricate pieces will be used to create the bones of a dinosaur that recently appeared in a LEGO Jurassic Park set. Moving on up, the first floor will have an exhibition all about natural history whilst the second floor will house a collection of space and science artefacts. This selection will even include a few references to older LEGO sets. The office of the museum curator is then located on the roof which is right at the top of the LEGO Modular Building along with two skylights to allow light into the lower floors of the museum. Luckily it won't be long until we get official images of one of the biggest LEGO sets of 2024 as it is being reported that a reveal will take place later this month. It's also being reported that when 10326 Natural History Museum is revealed, last year's Modular promo of 40586 Moving Truck will be available with any pre-orders for a short period of time before being fully available on 1st January 2024. 10326 Natural History Museum Set Name - Natural History Museum Set Number - 10326 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 4,014 Price - $299.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024
- LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Rumoured For April 2024
Nostalgic LEGO sets seem to be growing in popularity with another LEGO Castle remake now rumoured for a 1st April 2024 release. This comes after the release of 10305 Lion Knights' Castle last year with 2024s LEGO Castle remake being 10332 Medieval Town Square. The 18+ LEGO Icons set is likely to be an expansion to 10305 where by the town beside the Lion Kights' Castle is recreated in brick-built LEGO form. Those of you keen LEGO fans will know that this set has been rumoured since earlier this year when a survey online leaked a medieval-like 18+ build. And this set will be that build but includes 104 pieces more than the original leak suggesting a slightly bigger and more detailed build than the original model. 10332 will also retail for a very good price at $214.99 for those 3,304 pieces included. 10332 Medieval Town Square is basically a bigger and more detailed successor to 10193 Medieval Market Village from 2009. LEGO sets have come a long way since then so the 2024 set will be quite different and more detailed with modern building techniques. The set will contain four medieval houses in the form of facades allowing plenty of playability. You can either display two closed houses or play with four houses that are open at the back. Each house seems to include different shops and workplaces for the Minifigures of the town. There's an old farmhouse, a cheese factory, an inn named The Broken Axes Inn and a shieldsmith's workshop. The houses are all very cleverly built with a small watch tower also integrated into one of the buildings The four houses and watch tower are then framed by four trees which are each built differently and give a magical kind of vibe. And continuing with this magical vibe there's reportedly a total of ten Minifigures which seem to all take an exclusive form. These include the likes of a city guard, a court jester, a crook, a carpenter, a tax collector, the sheildsmith tower guard and many townspeople which take different forms. Along with a lot of Minifigures, a lot of animals are also included in the set. These include two sheep, a cow with a cart, a horse, a cat, various birds and squirrels. And the most exciting of all is a goat which reuses that iconic goat piece that can rarely be found these days. This altogether makes up a 3,304-piece set that will retail for $214.99 once it releases on 1st April 2024. 10332 Medieval Town Square Set Name - Medieval Town Square Set Number - 10332 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,304 Price - $214.99 Release Date - 1st April 2024
- LEGO Ideas 21344 The Orient Express Train Leaked Online For November 2023
Previously reportedly delayed, we now have our first leaked images of the upcoming LEGO Ideas set 21344 The Orient Express Train. It was a couple of weeks ago that we reported the supposed reveal date of the 4th of October for the 18+ LEGO Ideas set. However, this quickly turned out to be false with many reports suggesting the set had been delayed or entirely cancelled. But these reports seem to be false as the latest edition of the LEGO online catalogue has given us a glimpse of 21344. The seventh and final LEGO Ideas set of 2023 will be a brick-built version of the Orient Express first submitted by LEt.sGo. Trains and LEGO aren't often seen but this may finally be the start of a brand new range of sets once it releases on 1st November for $299.99. The brand new LEGO Ideas set will include a total of 2,540 pieces which may sound like a lot but it is actually 455 pieces fewer than the original fan submission. This had a total of 2,995 pieces but as we can see from the leaked images, LEGO have gone a different route for the train and made it more old school rather than the original more modern submission. This is especially seen in the change of colour scheme to blue. Another change is the increase in passenger cars for the train. Along with the engine car, we now have two passenger cars at the back with fully detailed interiors. This is perfect for the eight Minifigures included to sit back and relax whilst also being able to look out the wind on their journey and grab a drink or two from the bar. There's even a toilet, a comfy sofa, a LEGO typewriter and a cosy bed. And finally, this grand LEGO train is topped off with a track display stand making it a more display-worthy model than previous LEGO trains. However, no motorized elements are included but these can be easily added if you wish and have allowed LEGO to keep that price tag as $299.99 for 2,540 pieces. 1st November 2023 is still the release date so we can expect an official reveal any day now... Set Information Set Name - The Orient Express Train Set Number - 21341 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 2,540 Price - $299.99 Release Date - 1st November 2023

The first 2024 LEGO sets have been officially revealed along with the latest brand-new licensed LEGO theme. After the tease and confirmation only five days ago, LEGO have now officially revealed the five LEGO Animal Crossing sets coming next year. All five will release on 1st March 2024 and include a wide range of brand-new Minifigures that were first revealed in that initial teaser video. The wave starts off with two cheaper sets of 77046 Julian's Birthday Party and 77047 Bunnie's Outdoor Activities. Gifts for his birthday include a microphone and Bell coin element, a skateboard, some cupcakes and of course a cake with a single candle. From outdoor camping to outdoor fishing and sailing, that's what the $29.99 set of 77048 Kapp'n's Island Boat Tour has installed for us. Two Minifigures are included of a Marshal squirrel Minifigure and a Kapp’n turtle Minifigure. These Minfigures have the ability to dig for Bells, pick coconuts, collect bamboo, ride in Kapp'n's boat, fish with a fishing rod or catch a hermit crab. Continuing on with the more expensive sets we have 77049 Isabelle's House Visit. The fourth set of the wave will retail for $39.99 with 389 pieces and two Minifigures of Isabelle and Fauna. Unsurprisingly, the set is a recreation of Isabelle's house with her white walls and brown and orange roof. The interior is cosy with a dining table, plenty of food and snacks, a clock and a bed. More details continue outside with another cherry tree. And then finally we have the biggest set of the wave of 77050 Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House. - LEGO Icons Botanical Collection 10329 Flower Pots Rumoured For January 2024
As we reported around a month ago, the LEGO Icons theme will be expanding further in 2024 including the popular Botanical Collection subtheme. This also means that 10329 Flower Pots will include a whole range of new interesting pieces and recolours of different parts. The 758 pieces will be more than just your usual selection of pieces and this will make the 18+ set a beautiful display model. And for a retail price of $49.99, this makes the set reasonably priced once it releases in just a couple of months time on 1st January 2024. 10329 Flower Pots Set Name - Flower Pots Set Number - 10329 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 758 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

- LEGO Creator 40597 Scary Pirate Island GWP Officially Revealed | 10th October 2023
October is a big month for LEGO Gift With Purchases and that includes some of the spookiest sets for a LEGO-filled Halloween. Similar to last year, LEGO will be releasing an exclusive Halloween-themed Gift With Purchase licensed under the LEGO Creator branding. Last year it was 40562 Mystic Witch but this year LEGO have gone a different route with a spooky pirate-themed set of 40597 Scary Pirate Island. 40597 Scary Pirate Island is only licensed as a LEGO Creator set so only includes the one build that uses all of the 214 pieces included. The main build is a mini pirate island with a small shark-like cave and what looks to be the shipwreck of a red and black ship. A tiny raft is then included with a singular pirate Minifigure who is looking to find the hidden treasure stored away in the light grey cave. As can be seen from the official pictures, there are also many bits of jewellery, gems and other less common pieces making this GWP a fairly desirable set in our opinion. Either way, 40597 will be available from 10th October 2023 and last until the 22nd October 2023. The threshold for the GWP is reportedly $100 on any LEGO sets and it will run alongside last year's Halloween promotional set of 40562 Mystic Witch. 40597 Scary Pirate Island Set Name - Scary Pirate Island Set Number - 40597 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 214 Price - GWP over $100 Release Date - 10th October 2023
