LEGO Minecraft August 2023 Sets Officially Revealed | Axolotls, Pumpkin Farm, Crafting Box + More

After many months of waiting, we finally have official pictures of the next wave of LEGO Minecraft sets releasing on 1st August 2023. Compared to the January wave, this summer wave is much smaller with just four sets. However, each set includes new exclusive Minifigures, mobs, accessories and more.

The smallest of these is 21247 The Axolotl House which is another mob house but this time of the extremely cute Axolotl. The house is of a pink axolotl with a small interior allowing enough space for a bed, a torch and a sponge. The set is located underwater with many areas of colourful and vibrant Minecraft scenery which match perfectly with the mobs included of a dolphin, a puffer fish, 2 adult axolotls an underwater explorer and a drowned.

Next up is the very pricey 21248 The Pumpkin Farm which will retail for $39.99 with just 257 pieces. However, the set does finally bring back the witch which is included along with Steve and a warm frog. This is the second set to be located in the recently updated swamp biome and even includes the mangrove wood for the chest boat. The pumpkin house build is the main part of the set located in the swamp along with its small pumpkin farm.

Our fourth iteration of the crafting box is also here with 21249 The Crafting Box 4.0 including more creative builds to add to your LEGO Minecraft world. The set includes two main builds of the River Towers, a fortress-like structure that can be used to defend against a zombie and Creeper attack; or the Cat Cottage, which consists of a large, cat-shaped house with a cat playground next to it. Some other suggested models are also included to allow further fun.

And finally, the biggest set of the wave is another brick-built mob house this time of an Iron Golem with 21250 The Iron Golem Fortress. The $119.99 gives two different play scenarios where the first is a Golem fortress and the second is a giant brick-built Iron Golem figure with moveable arms and legs. Lots of figures and mobs are also included of a Crystal Knight, a Golden Knight, an iron golem, Charged Creeper and 2 skeleton horsemen.
