The rumours are true as Brick Clicker on YouTube has confirmed the previously rumoured Spider-Man: No Way Home set will be coming this Summer. In particular, this is the final battle scene of the film which takes place on the Statue of Liberty which is why the name of the set is unsurprisingly Statue of Liberty Battle. However the set does now have a different set number than originally thought as it will be 76261 rather than 76262.
This means the set is no longer an 18+ D2C set and instead more of a play set with an age rating of around 10+. However, we're still getting a great selection of Minifigures: all three Spidermen of Toby, Andrew and Tom, Doctor Strange, MJ, Ned, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin and Electro are all included. Currently, there is no Lizard included in this set but this may change once the set releases on 1st August 2023.
The build itself, even though small still includes some of the main features of the battle. These include the head of the statue of liberty, the scaffolding surrounding it and many play features to recreate the epic battle scene. We'll also be getting a brick-built Sandman whos also likely to come with many different play features.
Overall, the set should be one of the best releasing this summer even if it's not retailing for the previous price of $200. Instead, it will retail for $99.99 with only 900 pieces included but the nine Minifigures should make this well worth the money come August 2023. And it's also likely we'll get more Spider-Man: No Way Home sets this summer according to the rumour mill...
