After months of rumours and a recent leak, the main LEGO Christmas set of 2022 has been officially revealed. This is the yearly Winter Village set of 10308 Holiday Main Street consisting of two main buildings of a music store and a toy store. The biggest LEGO Winter Village set ever will be available from 3rd October 2022 for LEGO VIPs and from 7th October 2022 for everyone else.
One of these stores included in the set has already been a LEGO Winter Village set of 10249 Winter Village Toy Shop from a few years ago. However, this set consisted of just this store and had considerably fewer pieces. This means 10308 includes a much more detailed toy store with two floors consisting of olive-coloured bricks for the festive architecture. The music store also has two floors but has masonry bricks for its structure.
However, even though those stores are the main buildings for this 'Main Street', a lot more is included in the 1514 pieces set. Each store includes a small cosy apartment above for the shopowners who are included as Minifigures. They're also three shopper Minifigures who are dressed in warm clothes to brace the wintery snow that covers each of the stores.
But the Minifigures included in the set don't have to walk between the stores as a festive tram is also included in 10308. The tram is mainly red with a white snow-covered roof and many Christmas celebrations. A similar thing has also happened to the small tram stop. However, no LEGO Powered Up functions like tracks and lights are included but can be brought separately.
The set will retail for its original rumoured price of $99.99 and also include other smaller inclusions for the $100 price tag like a Christmas tree, a little bit of fencing with a signpost and a clock tower. There are also the already mentioned five Minifigures and a tram driver Minifigure making the total count of Minifigures up to six.
