LEGO Disney 43248 Inside Out 2: Emotion Cubes Rumoured For May 2024

LEGO and Disney's partnership continues to expand as the latest animated film from the movie franchise looks set to be replicated in brick-built form. Last year saw an array of LEGO Disney sets released to celebrate a grand total of 100 years of Disney. 2024 has continued to see a range of LEGO Disney-themed sets with the latest rumour suggesting another LEGO Disney Pixar set is coming in just a couple of months.

2023 saw 43217 'Up' House based on the extremely moving Disney Pixar movie Up. And in 2024 we'll see LEGO recreate a scene from another Disney Pixar theme, this time a brand new one as an Inside Out set will be releasing on the 1st of May 2024.

According to a French listing, 43248 is the lucky set number to be based on the animated film which sees its sequel release in June. Even though it has been confirmed, the release date of 43248 being the 1st of May 2024 suggests that the LEGO model will most likely tie in to Inside Out 2 or at the very least feature branding for the movie.

43248 is currently titled Inside Out 2: Emotion Cubes, again not giving much away about the contents of the brick-built model. We do however know it will retail at $34.99 with a total of 394 pieces and reports claim it will be Minifigure scale. Whether that means we'll get all five original emotions and the new ones as Minifigures is unknown. Or will we see Riley and her mum and dad as Minifigures?
