LEGO Disney 43242 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage Leaked Online For March 2024

One of the most anticipated LEGO sets of the year has just leaked online giving us our first look at this year's 18+ LEGO Disney model. In particular, it's our first LEGO version of Snow White and her Seven Dwarfs' Cottage coming under the set number 43242. Thanks to Brickfinder on Instagram we're able to see how just how well the set has been designed to be based on the original 1937 film.

Those of you keen LEGO fans will know that this set has been rumoured since February 2023 when a survey online leaked a LEGO Disney Snow White Cottage build. And this set will be that build but of course, modified with extra Snow White and Disney details and is ever so slightly smaller than previously expected in that survey. 43242 will release on 1st March 2024 with 2,228 pieces and a fair retail price of $219.99

This new 18+ LEGO Disney set is very similar to a rejected LEGO Ideas set as 43242 is likely to be a display and play model of Snow White's Cottage. Compared to the LEGO Ideas set, the main difference is the colour of the roof which is now a darker shade of yellow. It is also slightly more compact at 25cm high, 20cm wide and 30cm deep but still packed full of brick-built Snow White references.

The cottage is the main part of the build with a very detailed and cute exterior but we currently can't comment on details inside the house. However, there is a small side build of some birch trees and pine trees and a wishing well. This, like the house, is on some green plates with a couple of plants and leaves to indicate the green grass and forge of the woods.

Excitement doesn't stop there though as 43242 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage includes a total of ten Minifigures. These are unsurprisingly Snow White and her seven dwarfs of Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy and Dopey along with the Evil Queen and Prince Florian. All of this and more will retail for $219.99 once the 18+ LEGO Disney set hits shelves on the 1st of March 2024.
