LEGO Despicable Me 4 75581 Minions Party Bus Rumoured For May 2024

2020 saw the disrupted release of the LEGO Minions theme and four years later, the cheeky Minions are appearing once again in brick-built LEGO form. This time they'll be appearing as part of a brand new LEGO theme for the fourth installment of Despicable Me releasing in July 2024.

Four sets are launching for theme on the 1st of May 2024 including 75581 Minions Party Bus. The set name indicates a model dedicated entirely to the Minions, similar to those original LEGO Minions sets back in 2020. This time our favourite yellow creatures will be partying in a brick-built party bus which will include 379 pieces retailing for $39.99.

75581 includes a much more friendly price-per-piece ratio but with only 379 pieces included in total, the bus won't be a huge build. In fact, we expect it to be similar to previous LEGO City buses but with a party atmosphere both on the outside details and the inside. There may be the possibility to open the bus up allowing easy access to the disco ball shining down on the multi-coloured dance floor.

And our course a party cant be completed without a couple of Minifigure. 75581 will likely have two Minions as its Minifigure selection, hopefully, exclusive with special party outfits, prints and accessories. Similar to 75580 Banana Car which we discussed in a previous post, 75581 feels spoiler-free, possibly indicating that this first wave of LEGO Despicable Me 4 sets will follow this spoiler-free, generic trend.
