LEGO DC 76240 Batmobile Tumbler Officially Revealed

In a very unexpected turn of events, the LEGO DC D2C Batman Tumbler has been revealed along with confirming its November 1st release date. This is the first of two LEGO Tumblers releasing this year with a Minifigure scale version also coming in October or November. This one, 76240 Batmobile Tumbler, is a D2C version but will surprisingly also be available to other retailers.

The new LEGO Tumbler is a remake of the 2015 Tumbler but is still very similar in design. However, 76240 Batmobile Tumbler, even though not Minifigure scale, includes two Minifigures compared to 2015s 76023 which contained zero Minifigures. These Minifigures are Batman and an exclusive Joker with arm printing.

These inclusions along with a stand for the Tumbler and a Minifigure display stand would explain the 200 piece difference. 76240 Batmobile Tumbler contains a total of 2049 pieces and will retail for $229.99. Quite an increase from 2015 but expected to be well worth it.
