Autumn is well and truly here and that means Halloween and you can't have the spookiest time of the year without LEGO. Similar to last year, LEGO will be releasing an exclusive Halloween-themed Gift With Purchase licensed under the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme. Last year it was 40562 Mystic Witch but this year LEGO have gone a different route with a spooky pirate-themed set of 40597 Pirate Island.
40597 Pirate Island, due to it reportedly being a LEGO Creator 3in1 set, will have three unique builds involving the same 214 pieces included in the set. The main build is a mini pirate island with a small grey cave and what looks to be the shipwreck of a red and black ship. A tiny raft is then included with a singular pirate Minifigure who is looking to find the hidden treasure.
The other two builds are currently unknown but there's also the possibility that the set only includes this build. Either way, 40597 will be available from 13th October 2023 and will most likely last for around two weeks. The threshold for the GWP is also unknown but going off of last year and previous promotional sets, we expect it to be around the $100 mark.
