LEGO Achievement Set 40688 Trophy Award GWP Rumoured For April 2024

Along with the LEGO Spring set and LEGO Children's Day set, April 2024 will also see the LEGO Achievement set released as a promotional item. All three models will be exclusive for a short period throughout April and possibly extending into May. The final one of these, the LEGO Achievement set of 40688 Trophy Award, is the Gift With Purchase we'll be covering today.

The promotional model tagged the LEGO Achievement set includes a total of 157 pieces indicating a small threshold for a small GWP. The set itself is unsurprisingly a brick-built trophy, mainly coloured gold with a small red stand at the bottom matching the red and green seen as a ribbon on the trophy build itself. A lot of larger parts are used making the design look very simple and clunky.

However, the LEGO designers have included an element of customization. At the top of the trophy is a round 4x2 tile which can either say champion, #1friend, #1mum, #1dad, well done and many more messages of encouragement. A 2x2 tile is then placed at the bottom of the trophy displaying either a 1 or the outline of a game controler. Again, the builder can take control and decide how the brick-built trophy is designed.
