LEGO Stranger Things is not over just yet according to a new rumour as the theme is set to finally expand further in 2022. It's been reported that even though the only LEGO Stranger Things set, 75810 The Upside Down, is set to retire at the end of the year, another 3 sets have so far been rumoured for a 2022 release.
This will make it release perfectly with Season 4 of Stranger Things which is set to come out next summer. Even though the three rumoured sets have little information, we can tell you roughly what they'll be. The most likely and most detailed one so far is 40549 which is set to be a 2 pack LEGO Stranger Things Brickheadz.
404549 will retail for the usual price 2 pack Brickheadz price of $19.99 but like the other two sets, it has no release date except for 2022. Speaking of the other sets, one will be a Demogorgon Keychain for $4.99 while the other will be an unknown direct to consumer set. This will most likely be very similar to the Upside Down but probably based on Hawkins Lab or Starcourt Mall.
It's been speculated for a while now whether the Stranger Things theme might return as these rumours seem very likely to be true. More sets will probably release later on in the year or more around the release date of the shows fourth season. Could we even see a LEGO Stranger Things Minifigure Series? The future of LEGO Stranger Things is very exciting and we can't wait for 2022.
