After last year's cute buildable Groot, another LEGO Marvel buildable Groot has been officially revealed for a 1st August 2023 release. This is 76249 Venomised Groot retailing for $5 cheaper than 76217 at $49.99 but with more pieces at 630.
This new brick-built Groot is less cute and more scary with the venomized effect being shown through the more gruesome hints and many black pieces. There's even a large tongue included along with sharp teeth for the mouth and a large white eye. Smaller venomized creatures are coming out of Groots back and arms. And similar to normal buildable Groot, 76249 Venomised Groot has a range of movements for that $50 price tag.
