LEGO Harry Potter 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Officially Revealed | September 2023

It is finally here as one of the most hyped and wanted LEGO Harry Potter sets ever since the revival of the theme back in 2018 has been officially revealed. In particular, this is the second LEGO Harry Potter D2C of 2023 of 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank - Collector's Edition. The 18+ Gringotts Bank has now been rumoured for some time but today we have official images showcasing the two-part set of the bank and the minecart dungeon system.

76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank - Collector's Edition is Minifigure scale making it fully compatible with Diagon Alley from a couple of years ago. $439.99 is a high price for just one corner Modular Building and that's because it also includes the underground rail system along with a rail cart. The Gringotts building can be detached from the minecart system that sits beneath it so that it can be directly connected to 75978 Diagon Alley.

This also means that the minecart system itself can be played with and displayed separately but it is still included in the $430 set. A drop-down feature is included so that the minecarts can properly get some speed before zooming around all the vaults. The feature spirals through each of the three dungeons included including Bellatrix's dungeon with a hidden surprise.

Along with Gringotts Bank itself and the minecart system, we will also get a brick-built version of the Ukranian Iron Belly Dragon. The dragon can be displayed in many ways and can be sat on top of the Gringotts building or be lurking around inside the dungeons and minecart system. This makes for almost the third different build of the 18+ set which measures 75 cm tall and 32 cm wide.

And of course, as the set is Minifigure scale a large amount of Minifigures will be included in the 4,807-piece set. A total of 13 Minifigures are included in 76417 which include Harry and Hagrid from the first film as well as Harry, Hermione in her Bellatrix disguise and Ron in his disguise from the seventh film. A few goblins are also included of Bogrod, Griphook, Rickert, two more general goblins and two guards. A Death Eater is also included.
