LEGO Disney 43225 Ariel's Palace 18+ Set Rumoured For May 2023 | Disney 100

2023 is a huge year for LEGO and Disney with it being Disney's 100th Anniversary and a range of sets for the occasion releasing throughout the year. One of these is 43225 which has been rumoured for a long time to be the first ever LEGO Disney Princess 18+ set and now thanks to Brick Clicker we have confirmation. It turns out 43225 will be a D2C version of Ariel's Palace from the Little Mermaid film.

43225 will retail for $159.99 which is $200 less than the last D2C Disney castle of 71040 Disney Castle. This is no surprise due to it being a Disney Princess set and it most likely being minidolls rather than Minifigures like 71040. But with it being over $150 and a piece count of 1,808 pieces, it should still be a substantial size and much more detailed than the other Disney Princess castles we've seen over the years.

It's also rumoured that the $160 set will include a big brick-built shell. How this is implemented we don't know but its likely the set might be enclosed inside a shell or that one of the side builds is one of the many shells seen in the film that's set underwater. Either way, it won't be long until we see official pictures of the set as it release on 1st May 2023.
